Aleksander

Groaning due to the morning light violently assaulting his eyelids, Aleksander lazily lifted a hand up, fingers spread open and shadow pooling in his palm as he desperately and blindly tried to fight off the light. However, he was simply too tired and unfocused to actually be successful in this endeavor, so he finally surrendered to the world and left his dreams. Sitting up and rubbing his eyes, he popped his back before glancing to his side, finding the thick volume he had buried his nose in the previous night before glancing over at the bed nearest to him, and smiled at its occupant. He felt an undeniable warmth spread through him as she became engrossed in her book. He didn't really spend much time with Kat yesterday-certainly not as much as he would have liked-but he had to learn as much as he possibly could abut alternatives. If his block wouldn't lift itself, he needed some other way and stretching his summoning to find his limits would also help him in numerous ways.

The smile still on his face, he stood and spoke to her as he grabbed a simple black shirt and his coat from the closet, "Good morning, Kat." He walked over to where she lay, both curious as to what she was reading and just wanting to be near her. Besides, they had time before classes started.

Katarina

Kat slowly peeked over her book, her spectacles sliding to the end of her nose. She half expected their other roomie to greet her, but to her surprise, it was her dearest. A small smile crept onto her face and her heart began to race when he spoke. It slowly disappeared, though, realizing how childish she must have looked. She looked around. "Where's Genie-boy?" she shrugged it off and shut her book, placing her glasses on the bedside table. She swung her legs off of the bed and looked up at Aleksander. Oh , how she adored him, even just looking at him.

She shook the thoughts from her head, trying to focus but she couldn't seem to. She smiled again and pulled him into the bed with her. She just wanted to relax, classes didnt start for a few more hours, so she could spare some reading time to make up for lost time. "Are you ready for classes? Friday is the tournament, planning on signing up?" She smiled and propped herself up on her shoulder to look at him.

(Finally got time to post!)

Andreas Reed

"Five more minutes," mumbled the young genie, stirring from a long night's worth of sleep. How he hated mornings. As you can obviously tell, Andreas is not a morning person. Yesterday had been a blur, and all he wanted to do was sink back into sleep. Then, the thought hit him.

First day of classes.

Oh for God's sake, thought Andreas, finally managing to open his eyes. Why does it have to be the first day of classes? Now I don't even want to get up...

But he had to. He couldn't get expelled this time; he needed these classes, or else he may never learn to control and grow those pesky genie powers of his. Which is his parents' worst nightmare. Sighing, he sat up, blinking. Golden light filtered through from the triangular glass window, making it a pain to even see.

When he did manage to adjust, he looked around tiredly, catching the sight of Aleksander and Katarina already up and chatting. He could already tell the two were becoming lovesick lovebirds, and he sighed at the thought. If this relationship starts going downhill, and they start fighting in the dorm with me inside....Andreas cringed. Yeah, let's hope that never happens.

"I will never be ready for class," commented the genie, stretching. "Because class will never be ready for me." That probably didn't make sense, but let's just pretend it did.

Andreas stood up, and looked in the mirror. His dirty blonde hair had been turned to bed hair, all tousled and in desperate need of a brush. Sleep didn't completely come off, and he looked like a zombie, to be honest. If it were the weekend, Andreas could spend the entire looking like that. But alas, it was never meant to be. Sighing, he grabbed a towel, clothes, a toothbrush and brush and went straight for the bathroom, calling over his shoulder, "The bathroom's occupied 'till further notice!" and shut the door.

"Right," murmured Andreas, looking at himself in the bathroom mirror. "Time to get ready."

Aleksander

Falling onto the bed with her, Aleksander situated himself before gesturing to the lump that was their other roommate still sleeping. "Yeah, I am ready for classes. Here's hoping there'll be something to learn. And, i actually didn't hear about a tournament; sounds appealing though." Of course, the minute he said that, he instantly went to how he had to train and spend time with Kat. Four days, if he got the work that he was most likely going to be given done in class. So, the best way to do this would two days practicing summoning preferably with Kat, but if she were busy he could ask Professor Minerva. Then the last two days sparring with Professor Lazarus if he had the time for it. If not, just drilling then. Focusing his mind back on the present, he gazed at his beloved. It almost took him by surprise how he mentally referred to her as his, but he quickly found himself not caring as he took in every detail, every contour of her face and of course those beguiling irises. "What about yourself? Are ready for today?" He asked but was quickly distracted by the nonsense that just came out of Andreas. Turning his head just as the Genie was walking into the bathroom, Aleksander found himself utterly confused, his brain trying and failing to make sense out of that statement. Being at a loss, he promptly shook his head and drew Kat closer to him, glad Andreas had so kindly given them some extra time to themselves.

Threlm took a bite out of his food and watched the professor put his strange demonic book down. Listening to Mavericks words and the sound of interest present in his voice he guessed that he wasn't unwelcome. Threlm grinned when he saw the professor take a drink from the liquid and his eyes pulse. "My name is Threlm." He bowed his head slightly, "Might I ask what you are drinking? It seems to have a rather interesting effect on the eyes." threlm said with a curious and steady tone of voice. Threlm knew that this teacher was the health and PE teacher but not really anything else. He was always to tired to try and keep up with knowing who he was talking to and the type of people they were but he usually just got tired and went to bed before he ever finished. Threlm took another bite of his food relishing its taste.

@Lord Anubis

Upon returning to his chamber that night, Lazarus allowed Renascitur to leave the Academy for a while, in search of food. The bird traveled around the forest with ease, the moonlight creating a strange shimmering effect on his wings. He hunted for a while, picking up a few rats and mice before they could scurry back into their little homes. The rest of the night went on without many happenings. The forest seemed calm as it ever was, except for the occasional screech of bats or the thundering roar of some unknown beast located deep within the treeline.

Renascitur had grown accustom to understanding when the sun came up each coming day, so a few hours before it did, he set out for the Academy once more. When he finally returned, the sun was just beginning to rise, and the hustle and bustle of waking students was quite noticeable. Instead of heading to Lazarus' chambers, Renascitur made his way through one of the Academy's many entrances, and flapped his wings, perching upon one of the branches that ran throughout the ceiling of the halls. He peered down at the new students curiously. Some of them he recognized from the previous years, but there seemed even to be more newcomers than there were veterans.

His wings shifted contently and he let out a short screech of delight. He loved living here; The Academy's halls and passageways were well wide enough for his wings to expand to their full extent, allowing him to fly without any problems, the forest surrounding the area was teeming with life, good for both a meal, and studying, and watching Lazarus teach the students was another plus; It seemed as though everyone that came up to him was sent away with great newfound knowledge, and even seemed happier most of the time.

Bailey woke with a loud yawn, stretching and falling back onto his bed. He was greeted by the warm, morning light, to which he smiled and sighed happily. He got up and ran through the usual morning routine, teeth, hair, cloths, while deciding what he should do before his first classes. Right as he was about to leave he noticed a neatly folded letter on his bedside table, upon closer inspection he found it had his family's seal. Bailey pursed his lips, wondering what it could be about, he'd just talked to his aunts yesterday, why a letter? He peeled open the thin paper, breaking the wax and listlessly skimming the text, "Oh...just land affairs." he mumbled, almost disappointed. Surprisingly, it had his mother's signature on the bottom,  "P.s Best of luck in school, I hope you'll become a valuable asset" he read the words aloud slowly, still surprised she would take the time to handwrite such a minor document herself and send it to him. He shook his head, "I'll read the rest later" he sighed, folding the letter and leaving his dorm.

Breakfast seemed like a good idea, so that's what he went with, taking his time and meandering towards the cafeteria, all the while pondering what he should get, ' Oatmeal with blueberries would be nice, so would yogurt and apple slices or raspberries,' he thought. When he got there he wasn't quite as many students as he thought there would be, only a few sparce groups scattered here and there, all looking very tired, he considered joining a group, but inserting himself in whatever conversation they were having would be awkward and maybe rude. He'd rather sit with someone else, but he wasn't particularly against sitting alone and it would give him a chance to more thoroughly read through the letter.

PROFESSOR LAZARUS CHAUNCEY

tumblr_static_71ofyn1zyso4s0cosgs800cwc.gif

(Sorry for the lack of posting, I was a little confused about the timeskip/scene change, but after getting back in the feel of it I can start making posts again :DD
As for Averneth @Aio, should they have had the tour?
And it's completely fine @Wick, ^^)

The weekend was painfully slow, waiting for the inevitable start of classes. Lazarus spent most of it attempting to alphabetically order his personal collection of books and manuscripts till finding that it was a small mistake to begin such a large task. Alas, his chambers now had some sort of actual space. The sofa was free, and he could sit quite happily in front of a pleasant fire. Not that sometimes he needed a fire when one kept a phoenix as a companion. He constantly found various things such as furniture and clothes singed, once or twice a few pages of a book - but seeing he was fond of the strange creature, he never had the heart to scold him. Although he made sure to set a few rules, otherwise it'd be of no use to either of them if Renascitur burnt through his lesson plans and ancient scrolls. Yet the bird, was good at controlling the flames he emanated. All Lazarus dreaded, was when the poor thing died, for it would rise from the ashes and Chauncey would have to attempt raising a baby phoenix. So, of course, he kept a small collection of animal handlers books for mythical beasts.

It was commonplace to let out Renascitur come dusk, where he would return in the morning. Sometimes appearing in his chambers, other times having free roam about the academy - which the other staff were wary about, yet it was an odd relationship that indicated the school believed the fiery bird to be some sort of mascot. Yet, more than enough times, Lazarus would teach with the bird in his classroom on its perch, or with the feathery creature crouched over his shoulder.

Professor Chauncey awoke usually just at the crack of dawn. A habit he'd not let go of since the military, to which he'd take his early morning run around the academy grounds in rain or shine. It was also, therapeutic to his trouble sleeping, experiencing night terrors and bad dreams that replayed moments of his existence he'd rather not witness again. The nightmares were sometimes easily dispelled, but he was also known to take long walks at night when he couldn't fall back asleep. Some had made it into a rumour, he spoke with the dead during that time, others had mistaken him for some odd ghost, and sometimes he'd be the one to encounter student escapades of raiding the cafeteria puddings - which he kept quiet about, for the sake of letting them have a momentary triumph. And then blackmailing them for essays and good behaviour.

Dressing in his military jacket, today a grey tunic and black trousers, his boots up to the knee per usual, he joined the breakfast rabble whilst glancing about in search of both Professor Averneth and Renascitur while at it. Wherever the bloody bird had got to, he just hoped no one was allergic to feathers. Yet the thought did have him smile. Settling down at the end of the staff bench with his tray, he bit into the side of an apple leisurely, listening to the usual gossip of the secretaries and teachers.

Professor Minerva Averneth

(Sure @HumansArentReal )

After the tour, Minerva felt more at ease when walking around the academy, for once she had a clear idea of where everything was. As for the rest of the weekend, MInerva was mainly confined to her classroom. Going over last minute paperwork, mainly making sure that if a student was hurt she was not responsible. She had to admit it was her least favorite part of being a professor but none the less it had to be done.

Minerva awoke by the sound of falling books, jerking up in her seat to find she had accidentally fallen asleep in her classroom. From what she could tell, by looking down at her desk, was that she was finishing up some paperwork on the student's safety contracts. Rubbing her eyes with the palm of her hand before she stood up, going on the other side of her desk to pick up the books that had fallen and placing her on her desk before she made her way out of the classroom. It wasn't uncommon for Minerva to find herself in this situation, last year it seemed she never left her classroom. Shuffling down the hallway Minerva made sure none of her colleagues were around, not wanting any more grief than what she gave herself.

After some dodging Minerva found herself back at her room, unlocking her door before pushing herself inside. Checking the time she knew it would be foolish of her to attempt to go back to sleep so she made her was to the bathroom, showering before making herself presentable. One perk of being a witch was being able to hurry things up, so with a flick of the wrist her hair was dried and her clothes were on her person. Like most every day she had chosen to wear a form-fitting black dress with a neckline that could be seen as too low. Putting the finishing touches Minerva was back out the door in less than thirty minutes. Deciding it would be smart to join everyone in the cafeteria she made her way down. Opening the doors to hear the chaos inside, the chatter of students was always a force to be reckoned with. After going through the line she made her way over to the staff table, smiling when she saw Professor Chauncy. "Good morning." She said as she sat down, looking at the array of food on her plate before looking back up at the professor, her eyes drifting around the lunch room every now and then.

PROFESSOR LAZARUS CHAUNCEY

"Ah, good morning" Lazarus replied in a cheerful tone, greeting his fellow professor with a smile and nod of recognition. "Oh, by the way, if you see a phoenix anywhere, do tell me. I couldn't spot him this morning." He remarked, quite placidly whilst placing the apple back between his teeth to hold, tying back the locks of his hair with a tether. Taking the full bite whence his hands were free. "First day of lessons, and I've managed to start the day unhindered by any bad luck. Can't wait for it when it starts showing up." Giving a small laugh, he shook his head and continued eating breakfast whilst glancing over the newspaper discarded in the middle of the table.

Looping his hand through his mug handle, Chauncey cradled his tea, taking the odd sip whilst glancing about the various students. Some of whom, he'd be teaching and watching graduate. Twisting back to his company, Laz appeared to have a pleasant expression of satisfaction. "You know, my favourite part of teaching, is watching them grow up. Which sounds completely odd, I know. Yet I do feel terribly old. Especially when I've taught someone's grandparent. I've decided perhaps taking a few more sabbaticals to try and alleviate the impending sensations of age." With his comment, he made a small theatrical show of scrunching up his face humorously. "Hmph. What's your lesson today then? I'm doing an introduction to History. I pray to the unknown, that they have some previous knowledge at the least."

@Aio

Soran stretched slowly and stood up to enter the line for breakfast. Why had he waited until the line started? He should have been first. Curse his laziness. Tomorrow he'd have to cut down on his exercise time. He surveyed the food that was being served and found a great variety of food to his delight. Well this wasn't just any old school . His stomach growled loudly, and he hoped no one had heard it.

Professor Minerva Averneth

Minerva's ears perked up when Lazarus spoke of a phoenix. Looking over at him as she picked up an apple, inspecting it as she spoke. "A phoenix? I don't believe I've seen one in a good hundred years. If I do see it I'll be sure to let you know." Minerva said as she decided the apple was safe to eat, taking a bite, chuckling slightly as she watched the professor tie up his hair before he continued to speak. "I'm sure you have no bad luck...actually. Wait hold on a second." She felt around in the pocket of her jackets before pulling out a smooth edged stone wrapped in some kind of twine. Placing it on the table she slid it over to him and smiled. "An old charm I made back in grade school. Supposed to guarantee luck. Don't know how much magic is left in it but the should be enough to last you a day."  It was something she always carried with her, and while the magic in it was weak she could never seem to part with it or create a new one.

Placing her apple down on her tray inspected what else the lovely cafeteria workers had in store for her. Sadly food in a school cafeteria never changed no matter where she went. "It's not strange. I almost feel a sense of pride when I see the student's I've taught go on with their lives. I, however, have not been a teacher for long so I haven't been able to teach of generations just yet. As a witch, I try not to think about my age even though I like to think I'm fairly young compared to others. Though I can't say I won't be saddened if you do intend to take sabbaticals." She smiled, moving the would be food around on her plate with her fork as she bit her lip. "I have the pleasure of teaching adolescents what they will tell me they already know. Although today I can spare my feelings and simply have them part take in a small discussion on who they are and what they are capable of." It was a simple enough lesson plan although there would always be that one who would defy her to the end.

((Yeah I'm sorry about the confusion @HumansArentReal it was an attempt to not have the RP die out before classes even started.))

Katarina

She took in every piece of him and his warmth. She missed it. Even for the short period of time she hadn't interacted with him, she missed the way it felt being held by him. Hell, they hadn't even properly discussed how they felt yet, but she didn't mind as she was rather confused by it all, still. She just prayed now that classes started, he wouldn't put all of his mind just to studying as he had the day prior. She understood him, though. She understood why he did it, he had to protect her, so maybe she should do the same for him. She smiled at the thought of making him proud of her, and she kissed the top of his head before resting her cheek on it. She played with his hair a bit, just enjoying the warmth and touch of him while she still had time.

Soon enough, she had to get up and get ready. Sighing as she pulled herself away from him and got out of the bed. She was relieved she didn't have magic training in the morning, she wouldn't be awake enough for it. A groggy Conjurer was never a good thing. There was no need to dress anything other than casual for first day classes, so she just chose some legging and a t-shirt, letting her hair fall. Of course, it needed a good combing, but it wasn't too bad.

She looked over at her beloved again, smiling as usual. She didn't even know what classes he had, but she didn't even mind asking. She checker her schedule again while grabbing her bag.
"Professor Chauncey," she whispered.

Maverick smiled at Threlm holding the glass in his hand once more. He looked into the glowing liquid, before speaking" Ah this lovely stuff here. It makes my eyes glow cause of a biological effect if you will, with a hint of ethereal essence. Question is are you sure you wish to know what it is?" he said in a curious tone.  The liquid gave of a faint sense of power. Maverick placed it down, while the book he was reading vanished into thin air. His dark ocean blue eyes locked on to Threlms slit pupils replaced his normal ones, as he smiled a devilish smile.

Threlm grinned, "Well I am supposed to be here to learn about things, am I not? This is just an extension of that learning. Also if you don't mind me asking what are you?" Threlm said with a curious tone of voice. It was early in the morning though classes would begin soon apparently and he hadn't even slept yet. Oh well he was just going to have to sleep in his class. Threlm smiled and took another bite of his food. He saw the book vanish and didn't know what to think about it.

Renascitur scooted along the branch, listening to it creak quietly beneath him. He let out another screech and flew off to the cafeteria. Lazarus was likely eating before heading off to the classroom for morning lessons.

He had to fly low, barely missing the heads of the student filtering in and out of the lunch room, before pulling up and landing on one of the floating orbs that generated light for the room. His fiery, golden eyes moved across the crowd, looking for Lazarus, who he then located speaking with a woman. He called out, alerting the professor of his presence so that he did not take him by surprise. Renascitur then glided down and steadied himself in the air, falling and perching on Lazarus' shoulder. He immediately gave off a delightful warmth, neutralizing the morning air for a few tables around.

Maverick laughed" Indeed that is what you are here for! This is a special blend of Ethereal water mixed with the essence of a soul. As for what i am i am a primordial demon in particular to darkness. " he said his eyes reverting to normal. He downed the glass giving the same glowing effect to his eyes. The pitcher dissapeared into thin air just like the book. He did however leave a single drop floating in the air. It floated down into a cup Maverick had summoned similar in form to his personal one. He gently slid it over to Threlm. Looking in his eyes again he spoke in a calm relaxed tone" You are quite tired i can tell this will restore your energy along with some added bonuses such as all senses magnified 10 fold, and increased regeneration." He eyed Threlm" For a human id say it would last for the entire day." Maverick leaned back noticing Professor Lazarus and  Professor Minerva dining at the staffs table. Perhaps he would stop by and say hi before proceeding to class.

PROFESSOR LAZARUS CHAUNCEY

"Ah, well, the silly thing got caught in a storm and I couldn't leave it out to perish. Even if they do come back from the ashes. He's an odd little bird, but excellent during the winter." Lazarus grinned, till glancing down at the offered charm with genuine appreciation. Carefully, putting his mug down, Chauncey picked up the stone using his fingertips to trace the face of it with interest. His blue eyes, lifting upwards to meet her gaze - "Are you quite sure? It does seem incredibly sentimental." The weight of emotions imprinted onto the small thing was adoring really. Consideration and had been put into its creation, with a dose of promise. Another smile tugged at his expression, unable to quite keep it to himself. "The magic never matters for luck. It's faith." Holding the trinket with a firm, but believing manner, Lazarus winked. "Just like believing in Old Saint Nick, and the mystery of life."

"As a human, I am surely ancient compared to others. Being a witch has benefits, like accepting your age." He laughed, leaning back in his chair. "Well, I would be delighted to have some company in a foreign place. There's more than history in the world, and studying culture is always refreshing." Tapping the side of his nose, the Professor suggested his idea quite loosely, in a comfortable breezy manner, that he'd managed to perfect over the centuries. "Adolescents. Strange, odd creatures. Imagining myself as one, is cringeworthy." Stopped short of his joke, by the call of Renascitur. His shoulder, suddenly feeling quite a bit heavier, with the feathered creature settling in his usual place. Lazarus reached up to run his fingers over the phoenix's crown of feathers and neck, offering his affection and praise till motioning outwards at Minerva. "This is Renascitur, the phoenix I was originally mentioning. Although you might've got the gist already, which is incredibly unsurprising."

Threlm sat there thinking for a few moments. Though he had a satisfied face on. "Interesting. I think I will take you up on your offer." Threlm took the glass and looked at Prof Maverick and nodded before drinking the drop. His eyes pulsed blue for a moment and he looked around at all the new sounds and feelings in awe for a moment before setting the cup down. "I have the ability to wield any weapon proficiently. It is a rather useful ability on occasion." Threlm smiled, "Your are the PE teacher I think. So you have to tell me will we be sparring and such in the class?" Threlm said with a delighted and unusually enthusiasts tone of voice.

Professor Minerva Averneth

"I'm sure." She said, a slight smile on her lips as she looked down at her food and sighed. Looking up to watch Lazarus pick up her charm, shaking her head as he spoke. "It's quite alright. I was unable to give it to the person I made it for anyways. Plus you look like you could use it more than I." She said, pushing her tray away from her person seeing she was only playing around with the food. " That is the foundation of magic. Faith. Without it, my people would have died out many years ago."  She chuckled at the mention of Saint Nick, a playful smirk on her lips as she spoke. "Saint Nick was one of the great wizards I learned about in history. Though unlike what most humans portray him as he had simply was a big guy with to much time on his hands. I should know. He was my uncle but I mostly called him Uncle Nicky."

She left him with this before continuing on a different subject. "Though you are no ordinary human Mr. Chauncey, to compare yourself to one is not fair on your part," Minerva spoke with a smile on her lips, fading slightly as he spoke of adventure. "Sadly not all places are witch-friendly. Especially when visiting less developed countries. I tend to keep near where there are agencies for witches and wizards where I know I am safe." While she would love a life of adventure most wizards and witches were taught to never go outside the magical boundaries. Her thoughts were cast to the side as she heard the call of an animal, her eyes darting to the door of the cafeteria as she watched a creature fly in. Pursing her lips as it made her way to the two, relaxing slightly as it landed on Lazarus's shoulder. "Such a beautiful creature. Truly an honor to see one up close." She said as she eyed the phoenix curiously.

Renascitur's feathers puffed out slightly as Lazarus stroked him, and his wings shimmered like a mirage, similar to the noticeable blur when peering over a sand dune. He cooed quietly as his hand moved along his neck. His head turned and looked at the stone with interest, leaning in and giving it a short nip, but retreating when discovering it wasn't food.

He then turned his attention to Miranda, sitting across from Lazarus; he blinked a few times, observing her before beginning to scan the room once more, watching the many students mill about. Some had taken notice of his arrival and were staring, while others hurried around, apparently rushing to get ready for their classes.

PROFESSOR LAZARUS CHAUNCEY

"Faith is the foundation for many things. Sometimes we just don't recognise it. Not enough, anyhow." Gazing outward a moment, Lazarus was snapped back to reality, his brow furrowing in amazement. "You mean the Saint Nicholas is your uncle? Father Christmas? Patron Saint of Children? Sinterklaas? Père Nöel?" Chauncey sat forwards and scowled a moment. "Because if he is, I have a very large list of questions that inquire why my childhood was so lacking." He pointed in a comedic, accusing manner, narrowing his eyes with a smile. "Unless you're having me on, and then I'd like to mention I met George Washington." With a return smug smirk, the professor folded his arms tightly across his chest.

As the conversation moved on, he gazed downward momentarily. "My mother would say it was destiny. Named Lazarus, and brought back from the dead to wander. I might not be an ordinary human, yet I can't deny that I count the time like one. As if each second, will grant me something." However, the sombre look faded, forcing another joyful expression to avoid any depressing breakfast stories while at it. "I insist. Without taking a leap, how do we test our faith? The unknown is a terrifyingly beautiful thing. I discovered that many times, and it's never proven me wrong. Without it, I'd be in the same cycle of war and aimless journies-" Cut off by the phoenix upon his shoulder, Chauncey tapped the bird's beak in a scolding fashion as it pecked the smooth stone in his hand. Slipping the charm into his inner pocket, he sighed and offered a crooked grin. "The novelty of caring for such a 'majestic creature' wears off over time. Unlike the scorch marks on my bookcases."

(God the phone is so broken on this site it pisses me off. It was better before this update. They promised me an app like a year and a half ago grrrr...)

Maverick Lucian

Maverick raised an eyebrow examining Threlm" That's is quite interesting especially for a human!" he said quite impressed. He slowly rows from the table " Well while this was interesting Threlm classes will start soon, and i must head back to class. As for sparring yes it will indeed be apart of class Even after school should you wish to practice." he slightly bowed his head " Well i look forward to seeing you in class Threlm!" he said with a smile. After that he proceeded to walk past the teachers table waving hello to professor Lazarus and professor Minerva.

Medved was smoking a cigarette outside of the dorm. Well to be more accurate his mask was smoking. That's how it seemed anyhow, the cigarette didn't smell like nicotine, but instead of strawberries. Medveds uncle had a strawberry patch, which was considerably rare in Russia.

He exhaled the smoke into the air and leaned his head back against the wall. He thought of his home in Russia, those thoughts quickly turned sour. The strawberries were replaced with salt, cobble streets replaced with tunnels. Medved shivered.

Professor Minerva Averneth

Minerva chuckled as she watched Lazarus wrap his head around what she had said. "More often than not historical figures are wizards, though I admit you have me beat with Washington." She sighed as she looked away before a small smirk played on her lips, leaning on one of her hands as she spoke. "Even though witches don't celebrate Christmas you would think being his niece and all, I would get something but ole'Uncle Nicky never so much gave me a piece of coal. So get in line if you have any grievances."  She joked.

"Well fate or not I'm happy to be in your presence. I suppose right now you are on borrowed time...though aren't we all?"  She joked before she pursed her lips as she listened to Lazarus. "While I would love to venture farther than the boundaries I am quite wary of it all." Minerva looked up at Lazarus before she sighed and shook her head and chuckled a bit before she looked back over at the phoenix and smiled. "Still I can't say the last time I've seen one." She looked up for a moment to see Professor Maverick wave a hello and smiled. "Good Day Professor Maverick. Best of luck." Minerva said with a smile as she watched the professor exit the cafeteria.
