Incidentally,if we weren't doing Greek mythology specifically,I would have liked to play a character who had either Ng Mui or Izumo-no-Okuni as their Persona.

I think they're both interesting historical figures as women who pioneered something new out of traditional skills.

path to nowhere is just TOO good ngl. shalom is wife and i think i'm planning on using a path to nowhere character for my oc's appearance bc i cannot help myself. my pinterest board has too many ptn characters for me not to use


also, i'm glad that you guys like my midas guy! i'm gonna get to working on his character sheet this morning once i've fully woken up and also look over the characters posted bc i'm very excited that i have time today to get to know the gang. i was able to skim over the character creation section during work but now i get to actually take my time with reading through it all

I mean... When you look at the reference picture for Camélia, you'll see Pre-Black Ring Expedition Dreya, whom is one of my favourites. (Though Zoya best wife imo.)

Sure seems like it! I can't wait to see how stuff works in this world and start unraveling some of the mysteries!

As for the reason I chose Iambe and all is kinda simple... I rolled a die and let fate go from there, same with the Queen of Swords. After that it just boiled down to how I am to tie it all together where it makes sense. XD

Happy to see all this discussion! I'll be returning to my main homestead (and my main computer, thankfully) in a few days now, but glad to see everyone excited for this to start. We'll just wait for narumiya , as they are obviously very busy at the moment, and PkTokay , who's also away at the moment. Can't wait!

i’ll try to get my character sheet out asap!! i’ve gotten most of it done, and it’s now just mainly me trying to find some inspiration for the persona section. i have a class tomorrow for work but it’s going to be boring, so i’ll most likely end up getting time to work on it tomorrow

Obviously I don’t have a character in the works, but it doesn’t have to be an extremely distinct ability if you wouldn’t like it to. It could be something simple like giving the character more stamina, making them stronger or speedier, etc.

Fun reference to the persona itself + what kind of fighting I wanted my character to do.

Arachne's abilities to play interference or yank people out of danger parellels how Loretta already does things (albeit in more civil situations as opposed to fighting). Plus the lack of combat capabilities means that when Loretta fights, she's gotta get creative and she's gotta get dirty.

Taking a look at what the existing characters specialise in might also help! We have a good number of support-based characters (one can heal, another can hinder targets, and yet another can affect the area with walls/stone), a ranged fighter, and two frontline attackers.

To add on to what GamerKitty suggested, picking a fitting element to the allusion could be useful. With Ganymede as an example, I played his themes of beauty and lunar references into the Shine element as well as charm effects. Then the combat style (melee attacker and shielder) was taken from my character’s candid personality.

Thanks for the sheet! I like everything for the most part, especially the character himself.
I will say, when you see this next, I think Midas' ability is a little too powerful at the moment. I like the concept, but fully armed golden statues I think is a bit much for this story.

I think we can still use the base idea, though; Maybe we can tone down the full-sized statues to golden figurines or dolls? Other than the ability, I think it looks great.

Okay everyone, we're very close to finally getting this started! I think I'll be posting the main thread for everyone to begin on around the middle-late this weekend; I do also want to mention that I know people are busy, so we won't be flying by post-wise.

Regarding PK; it's been more than a week since that last ping, and with little to no contact, we're going to go ahead and start without them. If they jump in soon, then they'll be welcome.
