Who said it wasn't praise? The fact that you were put in prison by a family member shows that said family was unjust, which shows just how much better you are. The fact that you weren't executed shows that they considered you as not a threat, but they were wrong. The fact that your empire fell apart soon after your death shows that you were a pioneer, and ahead of your time. And again, you weren't called "The Just" for nothing.
