Well. Just keep in mind that guns are generally poor magical conduits unless made specifically to conduct magical energy. Just the sort of deal that it works with. I think its something to do with how many moving parts something has, and the more complex it is.
You could make it their origin.I can make my character's element gun, maybe elimination some of the more complex issues between the two.

You could make it their origin.
Ah, but a gun is used to kill. Hence, my character is generally formed around killing, and the art of killing. He, like a gun is used a tool to kill, no purpose but to kill, and nothing but killing.
Oh definitely. That's why i was going to do element instead. It's just less confusing
Even if I do just a regular elements. the current ones just have no real relation to guns. Fire maybe as in combustion of gunpowder, or wind for flying bullets. But if I do gun, there is the possible perk of not having the same drawbacks of magecraft with a gun if I did say fire. It's just simplerMagus who's sole fucking paradigm and elemental alignment, and possibly Origin is: "Gun."
I cannot fathom the sweet, sweet tears of poor mages who think that firearms are crude, primitive weapons, all while they bleed from the magical bulletholes in their chest.

I find it ironic that he was summoned into the archer class, but his origin and all is sword.I know.
Shirou's Affinity was Sword, and his Origin was also Sword. Elemental Affinity isn't always one of the classic elements. It might be something absurd like "demon," or "fucking computer."
Thing with Shirou is, he was completely obsessed on saving people because of PTSD and his Origin: "MUST... SAVE... PEOPLE."
Here's the Joseph Joestar Servant in question. I imagine his Assassin version would be Old Joseph because Old Joseph is no longer that same "tactical genius."
True Name: Joseph Joestar
Aliases: JoJo
Class: Caster
Alternate Classes: Assassin, Archer
Gender: Male
Height: 195cm
Weight: 75kg
Wish: Make the world a better place
Catalyst: An elegant purple-green headband
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Race: Human
Armaments: Clackers, Tommy Gun
Manifestation Cost: Medium
Likes: Common decency, Granny Erina, Robert E.O. Speedwagon, Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli
Dislikes: Hard work
Talents: Tactical Genius
Parameters:
Strength: C
Endurance: D
Agility: D
Mana: D
Luck: E
Noble Phantasm: A
Class Skills:
Item Creation (False): C+
Caster can manufacture grounded, fairly amateur devices of various application. He can create gadgets for the purposes of combat, or turn a simple string into a weapon by channeling Hamon energy into it. It also becomes possible to craft 'The Red Stone of Aja,' a beautiful ruby that enhances Caster's Hamon skills and lets him channel a focused beam of deadly laser through it. This skill is rendered 'False' as the inventions are generally born out of Caster's ingenuity rather than mystical power.
Territory Creation: C
Caster can only manufacture a simplistic 'Base' of operations for himself for the purpose of training Hamon and collecting mana. Mana regeneration in the 'Base' is sped up by 10% and using the 'Hamon' skill costs 25% less mana within this territory. Due to his lack of actual magecraft, however, Caster is not warned when a foe encroached upon his territory and has to find alternative means of keeping it secure.
Personal Skills:
Pioneer of the Stars: B
Caster has, essentially, defeated the Ultimate Lifeform that intended to destroy the planet and devour all life on it and rule over what remained. In addition, pressure from Gaia and Alaya is moderately decreased as he is "the savior of mankind and the planet." In addition, he overcame the curse of his bloodline that states all men descended from George Joestar will die early and lived a calm life to his late 80's.
Battle Continuation: A+
Caster can survive even with considerable damage to his spiritual core. He may lose a whole limb and suffer several deadly injuries, but as long as no severe fatal blow was dealt -- such as one to the heart or head -- Caster can manage to manifest himself with only minimal detriments. After a day of nigh-constant fighting and having his arm cut off, Caster could still batttle the Ultimate Lifeform.
Clairvoyance: A+
It becomes possible to see through an opponent's battle plan. In addition, Caster can see up to 10 seconds into the future when he concentrates, to the point where he can perform his 'Your Next Line Is' trick in which he states what his foe is about to say, for the foe to repeat what he just said and behave surprised at being predicted so easily. It is an uncanny talent even among practitioners and tribes of Hamon.
Hamon - Way of the Hermit: B
Caster is the student of the "Ripple Arts," also known as the "Way of the Hermit," or simply Hamon. Hamon is a special style of martial arts that utilizes breathing techniques that allow the user to fill his body with energy originating from sunlight. This makes the user a bane to Dead Apostles and other creatures of similar nature. At this level, the user is considered a professional, although Caster himself is far from an expert due to his lazy attitude and refusal to hone his skills further. Hamon is a very diverse form of combat that allows the user to bend physics and matter in various ways, but it mostly depends on creative use. It should be noted that the user needs to be able to breathe properly to utilize this power, therefore damage to the lungs or throat will seal this skill away until the wounds are healed.
Eye of the Mind (True): A
Capable of calmly analyzing the battlefield regardless of the situation. As long as the possibility of victory is not zero, Caster can devise the best possible course of action to exploit that chance and obtain victory even from the jaws of defeat. Caster is famous for being a tactical genius who has beaten ancient vampires, demigods, and other supernatural threats among which the most powerful was the Ultimate Lifeform with his wits alone.
Curse of the Skies: B
Any flying vehicle that Caster sets foot upon is cursed to crash the moment he enters it. Despite that, none of them will come even remotely close to killing him. This is ironic since Caster himself is a very skilled rotor plane pilot.
Noble Phantasms:
RUN! ~ The Joestar Family Secret Technique
Rank: B
Type: Conceptual Noble Phantasm
Joseph is the first member of the Joestar family to utilize the Joestar Family Secret Technique that he had also invented. To the naked eye, it appears as though Caster is running away like a coward, screaming for his life.
This is, in fact, only a tactical retreat meant to throw the foe off and confuse him. While they attempt to pursue, Caster takes his time to think about possible ways to escape his predicament in a rational way and possibly defeat the opponent. When Caster activates this Noble Phantasm, he gains the Disengage skill at rank A++ which lets him easily avoid all but the quickest of opponents until he finds a way to beat them. As a rule, this Noble Phantasm can only be used once efficiently against an opponent and its length is approximately 10 minutes. Should Caster attempt to use this against an opponent he already escaped from previously, the quality of the Disengage skill will drop to a meek D-rank.
Hermit Purple ~ Thorny Vines of Destiny
Rank: A
Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
Hermit Purple is a Noble Phantasm that manifests as purple vines reaching out of Caster's hands. The vines have thorns on them and can be freely controlled by Caster's thought process. They have enough force to keep a peak-human tied together and to maintain more than Caster's own body weight. They can also work as an extension of his body and conduct Hamon energy through the vines. Alternatively, he can use them as a tool or weapon by swinging from place to place, or tying someone and crushing them with the vines.
The true power of Hermit Purple, however, is unleashed when its true name is called out. Upon activation, Hermit Purple may interact with a physical fetter to bring clarity to the user in the form of seemingly supernatural divination of varying application. Caster may, for example, use this to trip a vase with sand inside of it and the sand will mystically shape itself into a map of the area with his target being represented by a single ant walking through the sandy outlines. He may use this to produce a photograph that shows his current target. Or he may use it to switch his way through channels on a TV in a way that the voices of the characters in the TV produce a useful sentence that informs him of something.
The last, third use of Hermit Purple is its capability to manipulate technology. Quite straightforward; it allows Caster to spot flaws in technology, repair it, and control it. He can hook up into a CCTV camera, or a car. The only limitation to the applications of Hermit Purple's abilities is Caster's creativity.
Like what?I'm gonna assume...Er..
I'll be honest I don't really like this.
What?I'm on my phone so I can't really type It up but I'm pretty sure HTCOR is doing so RN lol.
