mini boss? You mean that thing can’t even be considered a boss in of itself? Wait wait, I’m video games mini bosses are often seen part way through a level or mission. So in that case, should this roleplay be following the same logic there might be something bigger waiting for the team once they all pass out.
Nah, it's just a mini-boss because it's smaller and weaker than a usual boss in this roleplay. I've run this a few times and I figured if the team works well with each other and I am able to demonstrate a lot of the core mechanics for your weapons, how to do magic, etc, then it shouldn't be too hard or last too long. There have been times this battle lasted 40+ posts because people refused to work together to defeat it. And some characters actually ended up dying. But you guys are the most cooperative and exciting group to work with, thus far. Also, having a big party really does slow things down incredibly, so a handful really is the sweet spot for this kind of focused detailed roleplay.

Yeah, also, since its over and done with at this point, I used the power in your silvered weapon to heal you previously. That is mostly why you couldn’t use any magic when you called out for it. Sorry, I intentionally left that detail out earlier when explaining their powers a bit. There are a lot of secret uses for the two kinds of weapons, as you will all come to learn. Hopefully.
I see, well I suppose that makes sense. I suppose for now these living weapons only have enough power to save a singular person. Even still, the weapons would probably only save their owners as opposed to a stranger who’s blood they did not know.
haha, yes blood is a key word there, at least for the Black Vessels. Anyway, I won’t spoil any more. Well... other than the weapons are part of you. They will change and grow with your decisions and who you choose to become. Expect them to evolve alongside you, becomig black or silvered or even something new entirely.
Ah yes, it was quite long... definitely slowed things down and killed motivation like crazy.
