Challenge II, Desrick
This would likely happen in stages. Let's say the steadfast orc has been set to wait in a small room with a bookcase, rug, a few chairs, a table, and a potted plant.
Stage 1: Desrick will likely peruse the shelves, finding nothing of particular interest, he might go about testing the sturdiness of the furniture and thinking about how it could be improved. Inspecting the rug and deciding it wouldn't be the pattern he would have chosen but its nice all the same.
Stage 2: Several of the books have now been given a very good try, and may have caused Desrick to nod off several times. He has up-ended the table and examined the joints, noting that he could have built something more sturdy. The potted plant has been placed in several different spots and he finds he's started to take a liking to it, perhaps he'll find something similar for his own home when he gets out of here.
Stage 3: The book shelf has been emptied of all contents and on the table Desrick is carefully stacking books and assorted paraphenalia in the most precarious ways possible to see how large a tower can be created. It falls several times and Desrick of course blames the shoddy table for the steady slew of catastrophes. The plant has now been christened 'Azrath the Destroyer'.
Final stage: The table, chairs and bookcase have all been turned over and piled to create a make-shift fort. The rug has been draped over top for added protection. Books are serving as the battlements and the turrets of Fort Desrick and Azrath the Destroyer is settled neatly next to the orc, being the best possible lookout a potted plant could be. At this point Desrick may stop and wonder how it ever got to this point, but that will be quickly forgotten for the fantasized army he is leading the forces of the fort against.
Bonus: The door is finally opened and the confused administrator is left to clean up what could only be described as a slow descent into insanity. Desrick gets up, expression completely neutral and goes to walk from the room. Azrath the Destroyer is settled between his big palms and one glance from the orc tells the administrator he is taking the plant and this is a fight that is better left un-fought.
