Gonna interrupt the stream of people wondering what this thread is about with my decision on what's beneath Nolan's scarf and why he wears one all the time in public
Nolan had inked his entire neck when he was around his 20s; the tattoos ending by his collar bones, except one. The area where his adam apple rests has the Elysium's motto written in fancy cursive. The part where his spine starts has the insignia of the Sun trailing down to end at his tail bone. Apart from those two significant ones, the artwork was just patterns of sun-rays and numerous clouds.
Also guess what, it isn't black ink, its bloody golden leaf. Fancy shmancy.
