Fantasy Seiunita OOC

Question. If I make a Lovecraftian horror RP that revolves around a secretive department and its agents who deal with terrible things that shouldn't exist, would I put that in Fantasy, or SCIFI/Futuristic? Also, would anyone be interested in such a thing?

Rightly fantasy, I suppose. The eldritchian corners of the horror department don't tend well with both the realistic or the modern — slightly absurd, hysterical, psychotic, and ultimately, a slow-burner. Three days to get to the bones, at the very least.

Also, make it complex, not a farce at all, and you'll likely find me and Heis and a couple other hurrying in

Is it me, or did thing's just get a little spookier?

You best fix on it. You an write all you want, but it's mighty easy to fall on the generic, discolored field when you're writing horror. Even more so if you decide to add some sort of levity to it, or worse, downright humour.

Well, enough of it. I'll suggest you only one thing, King, and it matters quite a bit in these diluted days:

Keep things straight, try to deconstruct the themes that are always imposed by hoodog paranormal departments. Explore realistic consequences, and conflicts, and contrast them against scarcely-realized psychosis. And above all, King, try to make it different. Be a bit ambitious, try to reach for the sun.

You'll either fall, or you'll make it right. What matters is that you at least tried.
