Knowing where you live, I'd feel the same way too. Walking down Paris streets at night is scary too.

Ugh, I think I heard gunshots months ago in a nearby mall. Yeah, the place where I live is somewhat shady so you have to be careful. At least my paranoia is somewhat justified.

Well, usually, I spend my free time cooped up in my room. I feel like I have to go out but I also feel like I'm forbidden to go on outings and... going out is also tiring for me. I'm too much of a shut-in.

The first step is always the hardest, if you wanna improve you just need confidence.

I agree with Nogood, Historical Storyteller but it's also kinda' hard to have a life if you can't get out in the world... unless you find a nice work from home job, then you can tell people to kiss your ass. lol
