Fantasy Seiunita OOC

Huh, I have a suggestion of my own. Have you read Neuromancer? I haven't, but it was recommended to me for the Cyberpunk genre.

Of course. Back in the old days, people used to call me 'cyberphantom' because I was so edgy. You read snow crash? Also a pretty famous book when it comes to the genre.

Yes, I meant the North. Their skill with nature contrasts oddly against their tundra-like landscapes.

Honestly, I was always confused about the climate of the North. I was torn between choosing whether the North was temperate or tundra. Perhaps, it is a mixture of both, the further north one goes the more snowy the landscape.

And yes! The North never seems to fully appreciate the potential they have for magic. In fact, most people there have a disdain for anything magical with the exception of a few magical communities.

That is a thing for another day, first we must iron out all the basic details. @Exiled Ace, @The Faceless King, if you two are seeing this.

Yes, and we should be acquainted with the capabilities of the Fire kingdom's and Dark kingdom's magic as well.

I want to see what can happen if each of them finally squares off against each other for real.

We'll prod them fully well.

Agreed, if one of us meets either of them, we'll pester them to no end!

This, definitely this.

I nearly forgot one nasty trick the Southerners can use. They can use magic to temporarily blind their opponents by flashing a light spell at them. This way, the Southerners can make their escape while their enemies recover from the injury done to their eyes.

Yes... They could be used to power quasi-generators/transformers of sorts, and then relay them to mechanisms and/or lighting fixtures.

I have another idea. People used a system beacons back then to warn the entire nation of an invasion. Basically, you shine a really bright light on top of a tower for everyone to see. And as one beacon lights up, the people in the other area will see the light... and light another beacon... until all the beacons around the kingdom are lit up and everybody knows they're being attacked.

Makes me wonder just HOW does one utilize light magic anyway?

Or an even deeper question... where does all the magic come from?

No, I haven't. I haven't really explored cyberpunk really.

How the hell do you find these books, Eleph?

Maybe it starts out with something temperate, slowly turns into a tundra, and complete snow near the borders. The guards who're stationed near the wall think of it more as a punishment rather than a duty, and it was probably why they were transferred there — imagine, the Wall from game of thrones.

Obviously, fire and darkness falter when compared with the nuclear power of the SUN!!!!!!!

Heyyy, isn't that @Gee Dee extraordinaire tactics? Where is that fella anyway?

That's, again, for another time. For when we're more well-prepared, and well-oiled.

I have my resources...

One thing is for sure though, those barbarians are sure as hell not wearing their birthday suits when they should be wearing their winter clothes. And no, there should be no wall separating the North from the Winterlands. The cost of erecting a wall as colossal as the one in Game of Thrones in newly conquered territory is so astronomical that it can bankrupt the realm several times over. The barbarian threat should be handled appropriately by the local lords and dukes with methods as they deem fit.

If the situation gets out of hand, these lords may always call upon the assistance of the Royal Army from the Capital. This rarely happens since the Northerners do not want to lose face from those pampered yuppies in their high castles and summer gardens.

Obviously, fire and darkness falter when compared with the nuclear power of the SUN!!!!!!!

PRAISE THE SUN, MOTHERFUCKER!

Last I heard, she's busy with school. I hope she's doing okay.

And... we should record these in another thread for safe keeping.

I have my resources...

More like fast internet connection...

*Grumbles*

It's just the Heis and Ele hour. xD
Lovely
Its not as if we're keeping any secrets, you can read the posts we set up if you like. Though I have to admit, we did talk for a long long time so I've... kind of lost track of things.

Ughhhhh, all right.........

On page 369, I was trying to get Eleph to not argue with Nogoodname. I was also suggesting that we should do collaborative efforts on a story concept every week between all the players. Then me and Eleph started discussing about the finance and economics of the Fire Kingdom.

On page 370, I gave a critique of Eleph's writing and it helped.

On page 371, we started dividing the different types of light magic between the North, South, and the Capital. (One of them can be used for biological and chemical warfare.) Then I gave a hint about a possible historical background for a Southern Kingdom that was conquered by Elysium in the past. Then we started discussing about scientific applications for magic. Then we started talking about the barbarians to the North... then you came here and started demanding that I tell you what the hell happened.

Excuse you? I didnt demand. You are supposed to tell me.

I just wanna' actually RP, not do all this planning for RPing. Lmao I hate doing that. It's like there is more planning for RP going on than there is actually RP. xD

Meh, fine, I won't be doing the group planning with everyone then.

I'll just look for Eleph, Ace, and King to do it with me. Those are the guys who are probably the most willing people here.

Hmm, what do I explain to shadow first?

Damn it, Eleph, you know much more about economics than me! Tell shadow about the finance thing with the Fire Kingdom and I'll tell him about my plans for religious strife in the South.

BUT IM BAD AT EXPLANING!?!?!?!?!?

shadowz1995 shadowz1995 , don't worry, the reading's gonna be very easy. Concise and gentle to the eyes, just go back three pages, and read slowly and tenderly. And prepare to be... AMAZED!!!
