Fantasy Seiunita OOC

Good point, I just wanted to say they wouldn't be at a huge disadvantage by not being a swordsman.
Swords is probably the main weapon throughout the entire RP so it's pretty good to have knowledge on how to use it at least, yeah! Slashy slashy, ketchup spills

Jean doesn't use sword — I mean, only swords...

What? A man has to compensate for his lack of magical prowess.

The sword in all honesty is a difficult weapon to master, and a very effective one after one truly learns themselves in it.

If my character didn't have the Elf teach him, he would be using an ax or a spear. Those are simply easier to use and learn than a sword, and at times, more effective.

Or I mean, we should all just use chains to be fighting each other.

Right, didn't most medieval foot soldiers use spears because of how easy they were to use?

Yes! And when kingdoms conscripted soldiers, they gave them all axes due to the fact that it was easy to swing with its unbalanced weight!

Plus, most peasants were already cutting wood, so a familiar fighting style already existed in their conscripts. Why do you think most of the Boyz use hatchets, axes and spears?

Ignore the fact I didn't tell you that and kinda made it up on the fly there.

Hehe, You're fine.
And yeah that's what I thought, I really need to brush up on my medieval knowledge, I wanna RP swordplay well so I've been trying to do some research.

That's a good idea actually, researching on how to combat with a type of weapon...
*looks up staff-combat tbh in the mean time*
ALSO nice lore tidbit Exile!

Swordfighting is rightly a difficult thing to master. The more complex the sword; such as the katanas, talwars, and other fancy swords; the more harder it is to wield them.
