Fantasy Seiunita OOC

Interesting. In my mind, I was thinking that the Southerners would be ruled by mercenary corporations where their lifestyles are completely militarized. Every man would hold a rank, starting from Private and ending to General of the Army. People who hold important positions in your community are typically high-ranking officers who can order their troops around.

I think all elysians are supposed to be militarized, if I read the lore right. And, for a strict country like Elysium, mercenary presence should be more low-key. You can have the council be a separate identity, merchants with a tight grip on the district and the district's coins, and an authority figure who sort of who handles all security a la mercenaire — though he's really just an identity to intimidate criminals/heretic, and is really just controlled by the merchant board.

Additionally, the merchant (and bankers) in the board are very shrewd and... Well, somewhat corrupt and greedy.

Every man would have the right to bear arms. The South would be filled with farmer-merchant-mercenaries who would have a diverse set of skills. They would farm, trade and steal, fight and take loot, and then sell that loot.

Farming, I believe, should be less emphasized, since they're basically the middleman when it comes capitol/northern trade with other countries. All profits at gained from trading, capitol funds, and doing military stuff.

The place is really just filled with colorful buildings, artsy, and even more vivid men — ranging from low-level pilferer to high-level gambler. Really just the same thing, plain highway robbery.

The place is chic, but it has its dark sides — and rumour has it that the merchant board's slowly running out of money, and the warden's getting more underfunded as time goes on. This should add a lot of conflicts.

Yeah Heis, I'd have to agree with Blue here. You're making a lot of decisions for somebody who didn't take part in the creation of the kingdom.

I'm not saying its not cool to see them per se, but there should be a little bit of an permission thing going on here.

Oh no you can keep it, just run it by Gee Dee and Nogoodname to make sure it's alright with them

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

OH YEA! WOO! YES! IT'S HAPPENING, GUYS! GAME OF THRONES.

Also, archur archur what would a common reaction a prim and proper person would have when entering the Fire Kingdom? I'm planning on making Hanako go there next. Or depending on the map, last stop being the Dark Kingdom.
"Third sandwurm since I got here, give me a break."
"Are you kidding me? How many are there!?"
"Right, past kingdom gates."
"This place is huuuuuuuge."
"Get your grubby hands off me!"
You can get a basis of that here. I'm on mobile right now so my replies are a little short.

Oh, we did take part in creation, and in fact, we're taking part right now. Blues and the brothers can have the mainland, we'll handle the other provinces/outposts/strays.

Seems like a pretty square deal to me.

Not quite yet, I'm dropping out of the roleplay so me giving the go ahead doesn't really mean anything.
You just need to make sure Gee Dee and Nogoodname agree to changes before you actually run with it since they were the co-creators.

Conflict? Sounds like a job for mercenaries!

We still haven't defined what a district is yet. Maybe a district should be a registered community like a town, city, or a small village. There should be a record of all these registered communities in the Royal Government. In real life, England had the Domesday Book. So in Elysium, there should be a Book of Communities or something similarly named like that.

Let's see. A duchy typically has 4-12 estates, which has its own population, industries, policies, etc. And those estates typically hold hundreds or even thousands of districts. Imagine thousands of villages strewn all over the landscape and you'll get an idea of what an estate is like. All of this is managed by a Lord who collects taxes, administers justice on corrupt officials, keeps the peace, etc.

And each of these districts is ruled by... a Mayor for a town or city, or an Officer for a rural area or village. They will be called Mayor Richard or Officer Richard, depending on whether the district is urban or rural. These Mayors and Officers will have their own staff that will run the district. A sheriff, which is a peace officer. A treasurer, to handle financial affairs and accounting. And more...

I would want to see shadow's, Gee Dee's, and Nogood's opinion on this first before making a judgment. I don't want any hard feelings or something that could interrupt our enjoyment of the roleplay.

*The world explodes*

That seems like a dee-hee-cent idea, though I was thinking about a couple of state-built cities, the major ones.

I'll probably ready up a concise diagram regarding this matter later on.

Alisetta is the ONLY city there and the capital of the Elysium kingdom. The kingdom is still largely a rural area, and the only urbanized areas other than the city of Alisetta are a few towns dotting the countryside here and there.

We are still missing two kingdoms and Light just lost its princess. xD

WE WHAT?

Maybe they're just busy with life. Give them another chance to post. As long as they're in RPnation it's not too late.

I'd much rather have players TBH.

ME TOO.

I have trouble writing as it is. Now we have less writers in this roleplay?!
