Fantasy Seiunita OOC

Well, it is the bad guy, realistically thinking. It's radically different than all the other worlds, and in a morally grey world, it's an enemy to all. All the cowboys are dying, but it's still struggling onwards — following the old traditions and binging on nostalgia. Depending on your view, morality aside, they're either opposing advancement, or are getting victimized by anarchists.

Nobody believes good and evil anymore, Nolan.
Yes, I understand that but I was speaking in terms of story. If you look at the dark kingdom for example, their backstory is one that is incredibly moral and very logical, they were the underdog, tired of getting kicked around so they banded together to found a kingdom that they can live in. They respect each other and support good values, they are a morally good kingdom even if they're the enemy to 5 other kingdoms. Meanwhile with the talk about light we've had so far they're apparently radical, aggressive and uncompromising tyrants who hate the dark just because the dark is different. I never felt like that was the intention when we wrote the kingdom.

Well yeah I get that, the thing is when we wrote the kingdom one of the things I was against personally and I feel like the others would agree is not to make just "The bad guys", and I feel like it's starting to drift towards that.
Nogood, i dont wanna sound likr a dick here but I am very blunt so here it is.

The light kingdom has not been edited in anyway since it went up. So what you guys created has not been changed. So check this out. You guys are talking like its BECOMING this place of intolerance and being "bad guys" when in reality, nothing has changed. Its not suddenly becomint that. Its been that the whole time.

For some reasom, you guys are just now noticing what yiu created.

Which, btw, there is nothing wrong with it! Its different and I like it. I like that its different. Its not EVIL. Its the light kingdom and they have a certain way of being. They are intolerant and extremists but so is the watet kingdom and no one has called them out on it! So why the focus on the light?

A funny read though Im not surw what point it serves.

Well mate. Being the GM here, I can tell you several things.

1. Its not complicated. The rulers of kingdoms rule the kingdoms. Thats it. Dont lose your head.

2. You can join whoever you want. According to which kingdom you like of course.

3. Dont listen to anyone saying you should stay. If it interests you then join. If it doesnt then fkin bounce. I want people that are genuinely interested and in it for the long term.

I'll be blunt as I always am. Im understanding but I have low tolerance for drama and bullshit. If you join, we can help you out when it comes to understanding everything. If you get caught up with something irl then be sure to get on your damn phone (I know you have one) and tell us real quick that your busy. Otherwise, yeah, Ill have your character killed or something.

If not, no skin off my back. Other people will come along.

So join or dont. Simple as that
Seriously. I'm really fucked over as of late and I just can't.
No need to be all defensive about it.

Exactly what shadowz said. It's not a matter of morality, it's the tilt between chaotic and lawful. The light kingdom is traditional. Most others aren't.

All kingdoms, even the dark one, has their bad sides; the only reason Elysium's more apparent is because of Walt and Jean, who've practically suffered a lot, and want to kill the princess.

Morality, nobody understands that. But, yes, Elysium is a tyrannical kingdom which forces its religion upon other, and it doesn't even matter if it's good or not.

So, all in all, we didn't butcher your world. We just gave it more depth, humane flaws, cracks that aren't visible to outsiders.

We gave it a twist, a good one.

I don't mind the bluntness, hell I've come to expect it from you, just like I'm not trying to stir drama I'm just stating that I felt there was a bit of a disconnect from what we were attempting to do

I never said you butchered it, I like your writing and the plots you've been coming up with, I just felt there was a misunderstanding in the philosophy behind the kingdom.

Well, thing is, everything doesn't rely on an absolute philosophy — hell, that would be like an IRL Elysium. It's just the many interpretations.

Not saying you butchered it but it's not what we intended but it's whatever at this point. Just going to move forward with it

If I'm honest I kind of have to agree with Jay. I'm not gonna say wanted them to be 100% pure and amazing in every way but when writing the kingdom I really didn't have in mind an oppressive, greedy government supported by a harmful religion in a kingdom that abhors anyone who isn't them. I didn't really want to say something because I don't really think anyone else felt that way, but, yeah.
Freedom of religion is of the ABSOLUTE IMPORTANCE when it comes to joining a country of some kind for me. That way, I can CHOOSE who my god is and what my beliefs are.

That I can't disagree with, it just kind of felt like the kingdom was being taken in a route that wasn't intended by the original design.

No one's forcing ya to live in the kingdoms silly, when in rome~

But yeah, fuck it, here have a video that'll frustrate you all immensely.

I can already see the unsilenced rifles as people kick open the doors and start shooting everything after you typed "stealth" 20 times in text chat.

And you chose a kingdom that was in line with that which is a good thing
Elysium isn't forcing Luminosity on the world, only it's citizens. It does believe in spreading the teachings though.

Girl, if I felt you were trying to stir up drama, Id tell you. What I DO think is that yiu guys didnt really ask yourselves the question, "If I lived here, would I feel safe? Could I be proud of my birth kingdom? Would I die for this nation? Would I kill for this nation?" If the answer is no, then check why. Then find out what your image is. If they dont match up, you went wrong somewhere.

Why would I ask myself that questions when the kingdom wasn't made for me or my ideals? That doesn't make sense to me lol
It was made to be an interesting setting to roleplay in

o_o when I read about Elysium I was looking at it like... the way it was created was like... expecting everyone in that kingdom to share the beliefs? Obviously there are gonna' be some people that are against it because people are different and think differently. xD

Yes of course that is to be expected when you try to make all of your citizens conform to one religious belief but that's not really the issue we had

That's fair, though just looking at it I feel like we've accomplished that just fine, I mean if you can get past the forced religion you have a rich kingdom that prioritizes and encourages personal advancement within the community. The ability to protect yourself, your property, and protest your government are listen in your undeniable rights. It's a pretty nice place to live, all you have to do is accept Luminosity.

Yeah.

That's basically the better version of what Battlefield Hardline was trying to be.
ahahaha.... better's a word.
