Saga of the Seven Sins - The Second Cycle

Heh, yeah, I know, right? They're in MoEP: Infernals. With some of the broken stuff that's available for Solars and SMA users, I don't feel even a little bit bad about it. (> :) )

I doubt there was too much Astrology being done... GSPs are Outside Fate, and a lot of effort has been spent keeping them secret, for the first part of their existence, at least. Otherwise... you racked up a lot of Limit, I guess? The stalking could be viable, if you let us catch you a few times. Maybe make a game of it. Viktor's ego is big enough to find being fought over amusing.

Oh, and in case there was no notification, my sheet, with backstory, is now posted.

Didn't think I had to ask, knowing you. ;)

I think I may toss in a stomach-bottle bug, since I couldn't get the SWLiHN charms anymore.

I didn't realize GSP's were outside fate. Opal is incredibly relieved to learn this.

If you enjoy being fought over, perhaps I met you after you were married and brought you ostentatious grand romantic gestures a few times a year to try and win you away from your wife (Behemoth horns shaped into a massive heart, covered with inscribed sonnets extolling your virtues; Verdigris basket containing a bottle of celestial wine chilled in everlasting ice, living flowers from all five elemental poles which combined make a potent aphrodisiac, and a memory stone imprinted with Maxim making a grave social faux pas at an important fete in Gem; Y'know, the little things that say, 'I care'.). Playing silly games and intentionally being caught stalking you also sounds appropriate. Trying to sleep with your wife to copy her form, almost certainly. Seriously testing her doubtless excellent social defense charms on the subject of sharing. Generally making a nuisance of herself two or three times a year.

Since those that take Sorcery initiations may also take a free spell, if I chose to take Perfected Lotus Mastery (halves XP cost of TMA charms) would I be able to take a TMA charm to go with that? I'm considering focusing on fist fighting, with Mantis style, and picking up First Pulse later as I kinda like the intimidation factor of the blood fountain hands.

Posted Renost, the Sidereal of Battles, still working on number crunch but the charm spread has been whittled down. Funny how much functionality was more easily accessible through Prismatic Arrangement of Creation Style. I found Orichalcum Sheathing Stance to be a fine replacement for Optimistic Security Practice. Also replaced Burn Life with Full Moon Lunar Exalt Ways.

Also if you have room @Sherwood, Heart-Brightening Presentation Style can do a lot to boost your excellency coverage if you can squeeze it in. With it, any Performance Excellency can be used to cover Presence, Bureaucracy or Socialize.

I went with a combination of three different styles that I like. Dreaming Courtesan Pearl style is the Celestial one that I have mastered, then I add in Charcoal March of Spiders and Sapphire Veil of Passion both up to the Form Charm for each one. Also @Rykon, don't forget to check the Errata for the Sidereal Charms. A lot of them have been changed significantly. Burn Life is a good example of one that in 2.0 I would have taken, but in 2.5 I am passing on. Just don't care for it now.

So, who else are we waiting on? Are there other characters that still need to be posted? I want to get started!

lol I can just see some Goth figure happily skipping down the sidewalk with a stuffed bunny in his arms. Ah, how sweet!

Yeah the Sidereal kit got hit with such heavy Errata you have to have both books pretty much side by side to build a character, at least more so than other Exalts.

As for Burn Life I was considering it post-errata, now that it no longer cost motes, but rather than taking just a strength doubler I decided it was better to just snag an anima power that would double my entire pool for it. Mote economy is a pretty high priority in quite a few of the decisions I make for charms, since it unfortunately becomes more of a second health pool against dangerous opponents.

Some of the Other Exalt Ways added really great functionality as well. For example, Earth aspect anima enables soaking lethal with full stamina, and adds Essence to Stamina for Renost that's a +8 Bonus to Lethal Soak and 6 to Bashing Soak, in addition to Orichalcum Sheathing Stance adding 14 to both Soaks. Couple the power to change anima alignments with Resplendent Destinies and the forms can be very persuasive of which Exalt type they say they are. Because of this, Renost will probably claim being either an Eclipse Caste Solar or Earth Aspect Terrestrial to non-Sidereals depending on the situation.

Edit: Meant to post this awhile ago, guess I got distracted by number crunching Abilities/BP

When you said I crashed your wedding, I decided to take it literally. You can tell me if you approve of my depiction ( ;) ).

Well, that's one way of making an introduction.

Amirah (archly): "And just who was that, husband?"

Viktor: "I have absolutely no idea. She certainly knew how to make an entrance... and an exit."

Hiding in the bushes outside your house in the rain with a can of Vicks vapor rub in one hand and a knife in the other. "Why don't you call me, baby?"

"We can attune to each other's manses, and engineer a new race of children, and our wedding bands will always let me know exactly where you are in Creation at all times, and when I die I'll wait for you in the Underworld so we can be together forever."

"That may present a small problem, dear; I have no intention of ever dying. We shall have to look into immortality for you as well; of course, once Creation is brought to heel, there's no reason not to conquer the Underworld as well..."

Immortality is pretty sweet. Deathlords are immortal, though, so there's always that. I can betray the Neverborn for you - it will be so romantic.

Still have to go through that pesky "dying" thing to get there, and there's the whole "in thrall to the Neverborn" deal... call that plan C. If you can hold out a thousand years, I can make you an akuma, immortality included at no extra charge! ( :P )

Ooh! Neato!(> :D )

I'm thinking about shaving some Background points free to start off with a griffon as a Familiar.

@Sherwood Seems nifty, how large are they normally? Might be useful to take an extremely large one for travel though I think our charms and the Lunar could handle that.

All that is left for my Sidereal sheet is to post blurbs for charm effects, Astrology Effects, and Astrological Identities and of course writing a backstory.

In the core book they are listed as being large enough that Fae nobles use them as mounts. I have the Cirrus Skiff spell at the moment, and I would switch it out for the Glory Road Ride Charm so I could travel at Dash speeds for the scene without tiring out my ride.

I should do it, and call him Merv. Get it? Merv Griffin? Ha!

Nice

I once had a Solar Ride build that involved Valor style for wielding weapons regardless of weight, and traveling tirelessly on the mount at Mount's Stamina x 10 MPH. So naturally I took a Tyrant Lyzard going 120 mph with a guy holding a Warstrider sized lance on it's back. Since it was a western game and required walking on water, the image of jousting down ships was immensely amusing.

Not going to name him Merv; he needs something cute, like Muffin. Muffin the Griffon.
