D. Rex
Magic Eight Ball
Defense phase (response and resolution).
The crowbar came down and came down hard. Blood quickly filled his mouth just as stars filled his vision. Pain too, penetrated the area of impact and spread through like a Shockwave. He still did not understand how the crowbar did not cave in his skull. Too long had he already spent wasting time trying to puzzle out the differences. But it sure did feel good to return the favor. Even if the bright flash of lightning did no favors to his swimming vision.
Not but a moment later, Arthur moved as expected, swinging that sawed off shotgun around... however, Rudolph was ready. Before the man could pull trigger, Rudy smacked the weapon aside. The timing was a bit off, as buckshot peppered his side.
Peppered. That was a rather mild term to describe it. It was mild as in a spritz of Carolina reaper in the eye felt more mild than slathering ghost pepper puree up under the eyelids.
But he could still move, he could still fight. And that blast from the shotgun only made Rudolph more determine to strike with all due ferocity.
The first being a hard hook to the kidney followed by a vicious blow to the soft flesh underneath the shoulder. As Rudy held personal vendetta against the side of Arthur that wanted to raise a gun against him.
Present Phase
And then something odd happened. As Arthur tried to get some distance between himself and Rudolph... the man split into two. Not this wasnt... no this had to be because this was an illusion. Darven likely trying to be a jackals and put his finger on the scales. The jackals.
Well. If this copy was here to slow Rudy down then the only way was to break through this roadblock.
As he and Rudy and Arthur that charged each other... it was Arthur that landed the first blow. Those brass knuckles striking like mace in the same place where the crowbar had struck before. But was Rudy was apparently more solid than Darven gave him credit for, as he just spat out a bloody tooth that had finally come dislodged. This copy wanted to fight Rudolph on Rudy's term. The copy should have brought a gun.
Rudolph swung his fist hard into Arthur's nose, followed by quicker second strike right into the man's guts. That tell-tale weeze of having the breath knocked out of the man did not bring Rudy much satisfaction, as the fervor of battle took priority over such things.
Rudy grabbed the copy of Arthur by his belt and his lapels, with grunt of exertion, he lifted the man clear of the ground and over his head. The angry grimace on the boys bloodied face marred by a single missing tooth.
One step. Then a second. And then a furious roar as hurled the fourth rate copy back at the third rate fake with all his strength. Like a fucking gangster missile.
Mechanical summary.
Rudy gets hit (as discussed with Narrator via pm) then strikes twice with the ability "Hammer on Iron Technique (F)". Then picks up and throws copy Arthur at main Arthur.
Spending one point of Lucky for the throw against main Arthur.
