RWBY: The Years Before: Shadow of Grim

"Great. Now two weirdos are in my life. Although..... Ivory I can bear, but this guy..... he seems to be the life of the party."Silas thought as she looked at what came out of his bag. "It is Silas Sharpe.... and Asher. I forgot his last name." she said as she unsheathed Conqueress, and grabbed out a small bottle of oil. She dripped some onto the metal parts that grind over the other parts, reducing friction, and making things run smoothly.

Mel breathed in deeply and said, "Azure, this is the perfect opportunity on how you and I make a perfect pair!" Mel continued with her rather awkward flirting. I really hope she likes me and doesn't think I'm a weirdo...

"So, Azure what's the plan?"

@HoneyBear\-Kat

Adam erased the mistake of Silas's name, but ash ketchup he liked keeping in the book. He closes it and spots the awsome sword that Silas had brought out and watcher her drip some oil on it. "AAAAAAH. So your also a sword user tooo!" He goes through his bag and mistakenly pulls out his heavy machine gun onto the table, "Wrong one." He then again attempts to rummage through and pulls out his chainsword, "This baby is greaaaat for lumberjacking, and most of all tearing through fleshy parts. I can also attach it to this bad boy." As he pats his machine gun.

@Emperor Of Embers

"You both do know I am right here not like I have an invisibility semblance or one at all" he said having found it odd they both ignored him though he kept his semblance a secret even now.

Silas turned to see morgan, and facepalmed. "Sorry buddy. I forgot you were there. You are so quiet." she said as she sheathed her axe, and walked to him. "I am really sorry..... I do get sidetracked easily." She said as she pats Morgan's shoulder.

Adam was silent after what she had said and fiddled with fingers for a bit. "Yeah thanks." He fell silent for a bit and then realizes. "Oooooops almost fell asleep there lol." He then hears someones elses voice nearby and tips his head over the table to notice another member. "WHOOPS SORRY BUDDY, didn't catch yah there either. Tho you really need to speak up, SOUND OUT ONE TWO!!

@Emperor Of Embers @Karcen

"Well it was more I asked a question but I understand sometimes boys take priority to answering questions from other girls " Morgan said mostly to tease silas.

"True. But I would like you to ask me your question again, if it is about food, you might want to ask adam." She said, gesturing to adam, who was being very random. @general ostruppen @Karcen

"I said I felt like we were supposed to be somewhere important right now any idea where?" He asked rephrasing the question but keeping the idea the same.

"If yah guys have somewhere important then you guy's aren't really good in keeping your prioritys straight." He goes back to scooping the last remaining amount of grits in his bowl. He then also proceeds to stick his finger into the eye hole of his mask and rubs his one good eye.

@Karcen @Emperor Of Embers

"I am forgetful and our leader isn't exactly around to keep our planner straight" morganite sighed. He swore there was something but it couldn't be that important.

"Maybe it is the Training? Do gotta work on our teamwork." Silas said with a smile, looking at Adam. "We just met you, so you are the top priority at the moment." She added.

As Sward saw Curve signal him to follow he jumped out of his tree and followed him. A few minutes passed and everything seemed good. It was decided that Sward would look ahead of the group to find any more of the bark while the others stayed behind to collect the rest. As Sward noded his head in confirmation he darted into the forest again. Jumping, leaping, climbing his way through the tree branches of the Emerald forest. He was a good distance away until he heard something. He sneaked down the branches and but through an opening of leaves he witnessed something he never thought would happen. Their were Beowulfs and Ursas ganging up on other grimm and dragging them away. What was the strange part though is that the ones trapping the other grimm seemed to be using teamwork and strategy that of which he has never seen them do before. As they took the last of their prey others began to search the area. Their was a big Beowulf and Ursa and the Beowulf was sniffing the air and disappeared into the thick trees. The Ursa stayed behind with a garrison of other grimm. They were nearing his location and Sward thought it was high time to fly. As he was about to leave the big Beowulf jumped onto the branch and cut it down. Sward fell onto his feet which made him cringe for a second because of the unexpected fall. Startled Sward reached for his weapons in order to protect himself. The other grimm noticed him by now and where slowly entrapping him. Beowulfs in the trees and Ursas on the ground. There appeared to be more than thirty of them. "Oh boy.."

The big Beowulf jumped down and snarled at Sward and began to draw in closer. Sward only had one option. He hoped that his team could see this as well as the others but it would take some time before they would get to him if they saw the flare at all. He aimed his gun up high. *BLAM* He fired a single shot into the air which then began to go off like a flare. This made the The big Beowulf rush towards Sward, and Sward went into his defensive stance. It seems the big bad beowulf wanted to take on Sward alone.

Locke was near OJ collecting the bark which he found a good deal amount when he heard a gunshot. Locke looked up to see the flare. He then tapped OJ on the shoulder and called out to Curve. Locke knew that if Sward was calling for help it must mean trouble. He then started out towards Sward hoping he wasn't in to much trouble.

Curve watched the flare fizz into the sky and spray itself out. He closed his eyes and shook his head. Of course something would happen. It always did. "Goodwitch! There's a situation!" He called, clasping his necklace. His breastplate *KaSHinK*ed across his shoulders as he stalked his way over to where the flare was shot from. OJ wasn't far behind Locke, but Curve quickly lost sight of them. He didn't run, not even towards the fight. Curve never ran.

OJ had converted his staff into its rocket launcher state. He came to the clearing where Sward was fighting with the beaowulf, scanning the area. "Hoe-lay-sheet that's alot of grim!" He exclaimed, firing a rocket at a nearby ursa. The ursa stumbled back, but seemed otherwise unharmed. OJ converted his weapon to the staff again and prepared for some close combat.

Curve saw all the grim and immediately decided that this was the best kind of detention he could ever get. The grim had encircled Sward, and OJ and Locke would have to fight their way over to him. Curve allowed himself a small bit of amusement. This was going to be fun. He engaged in combat first with an ursa. Its back was turned, and with the grass muffling the claBMp-ing of his boots, he went relatively unnoticed. He smacked the ursa across its behind with an open palm. "Let's dance," he growled. The ursa immediately turned around to swipe at Curve, but he blocked the attack with his arm blade. With the kinetic energy he absorbed from that, he lept into the air, stomping down hard, breaking the ursas back and launching himself towards sward. Landing with a bit of a skid, but fixed posture, Curve's tattoos glowed with a dim light. "You didn't think I'd let you have all the fun would I?" Curve chuckled to his partner, "Maybe by the time I'm done you'll have some scraps."

He barely had time to get out that sentance before the massive beowulf charged. Curve swung his blade in an uppercut, which the beowulf narrowly avoided by rearing its head back. It then snapped at him with wildly distended jaws, but Curve sidestepped, and sent his fist crashing down on the top of its skull. Grabbing the beowulf by the jaw and one of the spines on the top of its head, Curve jerked to the side, throwing his whole body weight into the action, snapping the beast's neck. Dusting off his hands, Curve placed his back towards Sward, eyeing the grim in front of him. "Shape up. We've got some work to do." He stated bluntly.

KURO MAYONAKA

After collecting a good deal of bark from the required trees on his lonesome, Kuro sat down and finally had a chance to think things through for how he was going to approach this semester. He had done average last year, just earning mid-tier grades, nothing too scholarly. He had excelled, however, in combat drills. It was fun for him, and also a chance to improve himself to use his Semblance a bit more. It always caused him physical pain after he used it, and always tried training where he knew he would be in pain specifically to increase his tolerance for pain to be able to use it more often. So far, it had worked to a very small degree, but he needed to keep at it if he wanted to get the change he wanted.

Kuro's thought process was interrupted as he heard a loud gunshot, then looked up and saw a flare. Someone was in trouble. Looks like this boring field trip just got better. He stood back up and started running towards the spot the flare originated. He arrived a bit late to the party, as he saw Curve and Sward standing over the corpse of a huge Beowulf while OJ went full on whack-a-mole with his club into a crowd of Grimm. Fun times. Kuro grabbed the grips of his two shotguns and pulled each out of their holster, the blade bayonets on the ends extending. What he usually did with his shotguns against Grimm was extend the bayonets early to they could double as swords if the shotgun shots weren't enough to put the targets down. He'd switch to his staff later.

"How rude," he sarcastically exclaimed as he strolled into the clearing with the weapon in his left hand held over his shoulder and across the top of his back, "y'all started the festivities without me." A smaller Beowulf charged him and he blasted its head clean off with the weapon in his right hand with a smirk. Kuro then started sprinting towards a tree and then used the momentum to jump up and run up the trunk for a few seconds, coming to land on a sturdy branch. He then began unloading shot after shot into the crowd of Grimm to assist Curve, Locke, OJ, and Sward. He figured he should make as much noise as possible if he wanted his team to join in on the fun.

Azure Snow

The faunus wasted no time with searching for the bark. It took her a couple guesses but when she saw the tree she knew it was the one. It stood out among the rest so it was pretty clear. She got to work

Luckily the trees sort of grew in patches, 5-6 trees grew with in a certain vicinity so it made it a little easier for the faunus. She used her weapons as her extracting instruments. Her pistols remained in their blade form while she cut a section of the bark she wanted. Then, she'd combine the two seperate weapons to form her trident, which she used to pry the bark off the living tree. She put the selected pieces in a small pack on her back that she wore every where she went. It was a part of her outfit more than it was a part of her utilities.

The pack quickly started to fill, but as she was cutting off another piece and distinct sound echoed and resouned through the forest. Azure froze at the sound of a shot. She turned her head toward the direction of the noise and stood silent. Eyes wide and ears attentive for any sort of movement or noise. The canopy was too dense for her to see the flare that flew after the sudden sound, but she did hear the sound of a rocket launcher. "Uh oh?" She assumed something must be going on, but how could she be sure. Azure shut her eyes tight, focusing again on her semblance. She detected a conglomerate of auras amidst a large gathering of negative energy,"Grimm?" She whispered. The fox stood up, looking around a little. She was nervous that if there were that many grimm around the others there would be some near her. Her aura/energy radar seemed clear for now.

Azure made her way to the others. She ran as quick as she could. Darting through the maze of tree trunks, ducking under low branches or hanging foliage. She miscalculated her distance with one branch and as she whizzed by she made contact with it. A small cut appeared on her cheek, bleeding some not heavily. The sharp sting made her wince but she kept her mind on the others, hoping they werent in any trouble.

When she arrived on the cite, Azure was surprised with the amount of Grimm that met here. It was...unnatural. She watched as Kuro and some others worked on population control with the grimm. She wasnt sure if they needed help or not. She didnt want to jump in and end up being in the way.

(Wondering if i should throw Carter in here xD )

Curve almost decided to limber up before he fought anymore, but passing events prooved that might be fatal. "Thanks for the air support!" He called to Kuro. Smart kid. Taking the high ground wasn't a strategy people really used anymore, but it worked. Curve simply rolled his shoulders, Cracked his neck, and did what he did best. Brawling.

The grim attacked strangely. Intermittent, retreating from some of Kuros shots. Some even took cover. Curve didn't even know they had the capacity to do that. Curve rolled under a passing ursa, smacking his heavy boots into its gut, tossing it up in the air. A beowulf jumped at him from the side, and Curve snatched its claws out of the air just before they would hit him. Using the beasts own momentum, he whirled it into the ursa who had just come back down. They didn't move, but he slashed at them with his blade just to be sure they were dead. Eventually, they started giving off the black steam that signaled they would soon dissipate. Whirling around, Curve spun to the side, clearing the ground and using both feet to kick at an advancing ursa. His blows stunned the animal, and a well placed punch from his arm blade into the animals neck sent it to its death. Another ursa had gotten a bit too close, and experienced the backlash from his blade as he pulled it out and spun in a 360, effectively seperating the top of its skull from the rest of its head.

Glynda called to the other students to stick together. The ones that weren't involved in the fight would be better off not in it at all. She dashed off in the direction of the chaos, and eventually came across what she was looking for. Miraculously, team LSOC with the assistance of Kuro seemed to be doing pretty well.

OJ wasn't too effective at killing the grim with his staff, just keeping them away from himself and Locke. As Locke shot bolt after bolt at the mass of grim, he simply smacked back anything that came at them with his blunt stick. He made it possible for Locke to continue shooting, this is why they were partners.

Curve saw Glynda and Azure come into his field of vision. "Well lookie here," He said, plowing a beowulf's face into the ground by the back of its neck, "We've got an audience." An ursa came a bit too close and roared in his face. Curve stabbed it up through its mouth into the top of its head and gave a bellow of his own, his tattoos glowing. He removed his blade, and looked around. Where had Sward gone off to?

Carter Greyson

The young lad had recieved a message earlier in the morning that he was being reassigned to a new team. It took a while for him to learn his teams whereabouts for today, but when he did he took action to meet with them. In a hurry? Not a chance. Carter took his time reaching the Emerald Forest, frankly, he didnt want to be on a team. The way there all he though about was how much people are a pain. "They better be able to take care of themselves at least," he sighed, hands tucked in his pockets with his rifle on his back.

The breeze the was carried from the cliff side grew stronger as he neared the edge of beacon. Once he actually reached the cliff the breeze subsided,"Emerald Forest hm?" He wore his usual face of boredom and unamusement. Displeased he spoke to himself again,"Doing Glynda's dirty work for her..." he hissed. But he couldnt deny the task since his new team had already volunteered for it. He sighed, and just as he did so a flare flew over the tops of the trees. His head shook,"In trouble already?" he reached back and unhooked his gun from his back,"and what idiot shoots a flare in a setting as dense as this forest," he walked to the edge and looked down,"Could've started a fire, genius..." And with that he jumped off.

As he fell he gained speed, but once he crashed into the brush he used the branches of the trees as a path not only to take him to the others but he used the same momentum from falling to move forward. After some time he jumped off the trees and landed to run along the ground. The sounds of combat grew louder as he got closer. 'Guess there is a problem,' he thought.

The young boy popped out from bushes and straight into the scene. Over to his left (some distance away) was a faunus, small, and worried about the situation,"Hey!" He called out to her,"If youre gonna stand there at least be useful," he reached into the inside of his sweater and pulled out a few thowing knives,"Otherwise youre an easy target," he informed her. His attention switched to the grimm running about. In one hand he gripped a handful of the knives tight, while the other held a single one. He immediately jumped into action. He was light kn his feet and kept track of everything around him. He started off by assisting the others his knives were imbued with dust, dust that associates with ice (his favorite). She circled the area, running through the maze of grimm, throwing his knives at the ground near the creatures. He purposely missed. As the knives hit the ground, ice spread and spikes snared the feet and paws of the grimm, holding them in place and buying time for the others who were already occupied. When he would run out, he'd go back with his weapon and exterminate those that became trapped.

(Sorry its a little rushed, not in the best of moods :/ )

Sward was holding on his own pretty well, but the enemies strategy was strange. They tried to dodge bullet and arrow fire and seemed to attack on all sides rather than just one. As Sward was defending against two beowulfs the giant it's roared and began to charge at Sward. It was getting faster and faster. The Ursa's momentum was just adding on. Then as Sward turned to face this new threat it was too late. The two collided and Sward was riding on the Ursa's face. The beast kept charging into trees in an attempt to shake Sward off. The Ursa charged into other Grimm as well tried to run into Swards classmates.

It wasn't long until the beast hit the biggest tree in the area which the impact made Sward fall off. The Ursa began to run back and rubbed its paw on the ground like a bull would do before another charge. As Sward prepared as best he could against this devastating attack an arrow came zooming by and hit him on his right leg. "Aaaarrrrghhhhh" Sward clenched his teeth together so as to not scream from the sudden surge of pain.

Locke was hitting Grimm from left to right and just barely dodged the giant Ursa. As it appeared to have stopped Locke drew his bow and fired only to have hit Sward! What has he done! The Ursa continued to charge.

The grim were finally thinning out. Kuro had done a number on them. The ice the new kid had thrown down was super effective, and most of the frozen grim were dead. Curves tattoos glinted as he heard Swards yelp of pain. Curve had rolled out of the way of the grims first charge, he stepped in the way of the second. Placing his hands out in front of him, his palm planted squarely on its forehead, the second wildly slashed at the ursas eye, but he couldn't seem to get a clear blow. The two skidded in a linear fashion towards the tree Sward was up against, clutching his injured leg, Curve feet grinding up the turf where they were rooted. He had slowed it down just enough so that its charge was ruined, but its hind legs dug into the turf in an attempt to throw Curve backwards. "Shoot it!" He bellowed, managing to trow its head to one side. Seeing as a well placed rifle shot burst through its head a second later, Sward still had enough strength left to shoot. As the beast fell to the ground, Curve released his grip, the commotion around them finally coming to a halt. Curve's glowing tattoos dimmed as he glared around, inhaling steadily, but breathing a bit harder than normal. After seeing all threats were gone, his chestplate and blade folded back into a necklace.

His eyes settled on Sward's leg. A nasty burn showed through his clothing from the back of the knee down. That fucker. That inexperienced, overexcited, trigger happy dickwomble. Curve narrowed his eyes, and turned in the direction of Locke, stalking his way towards him in a slightly faster pace than usual.

OJ saw the look of murder in Curve's eyes and stepped in between them. "Woa woa woa, homie, ain't nobody gotta-" "OUT OF MY WAY!" Curve smacked OJ to the side with the back of his hand. Finally coming up to Locke, Curve recalled what he had said earlier that morning. "One of us get's hurt, it's on your head bud." Curve brought back his arm and his fist connected with the top of Lockes eye socket, making a resounding *Crack*. "Keep. Your bolts. In CHECK!" He threatened through clenched teeth, shoving Locke back on his bum. He grabbed the kid by the collar and drew his hand back once more to give him a good one across the jaw, but felt it being held back. His head snapped in the direction of the restriction, face the very picture of darkness.

"Enough!" Glynda scolded, her wand held aloft. Purple energy had collected around Curves wrist and was restricting it. "Curve! This is the last time I shall ever see you place a hand on one of your fellow classmates! Get off the boy NOW!" Curve tried to bring his hand down one more time, but Glynda's magic held fast. With a grunt, he stood up, releasing his deathgrip on Locke, and the magic holding his arm dissipated. Curve spit on the ground next to Locke. "I doubt you'll be a hunter with your lack of discipline. You aren't worthy to be a protector, and you sure as hell aren't fit to lead this team. Next time something like that happens, next time one of us is hurt because of you, I swear on my blood I will kill you." Curve cracked his knuckles on one hand by simply clenching a fist, then went over to support Sward and his injured leg.

"Well," Glynda remarked, "Today has been eventful enough, and it isn't even lunch time. Class, take the rest of the day off. You are excused from the rest of your regular schedule if you so wish. Curve, take Sward to the infirmary. Then Ozpin will need to see you." With a disdainful glance at the brawler who was now awkwardly draping Swards arm around his neck, she adressed everyone else. "I'll arrange for the bark to be picked up later. Please, get out of the forest as fast as possible."

OJ held out a hand and helped Locke up. Dayum. Just dayum. OJ had seen Curve fight before, but not like that. And after what he did to Locke, OJ wondered if Curve even needed his weapon. Why did he even wear it if most of his moves just fucked up anyone or anything? Did he even need it to block anything aside from ranged attacks? "You don't look too good bruh," OJ said to Locke, who now had the beginnings of a black eye, We gon' need to get you some ice." OJ was not liking this, not one bit. The only way Curve would be hapy is if he led. Or if Locke was a better leader. OJ didn't think that Locke was ever going to meet Curves standards. This was a horrible case of Deja vu, and the last time this happened, someone died. OJ shook his head. Goodwitch said to get out of the emerald forest, and that was an order he was more than willing to oblige. How many more of those weird, organized grim were lurking around?

NOT LETTING THIS DIE

Azure & Carter

The faunus frowned at the new kid that joined in right away. He basically called her useless, which did not settle well with her. But she to admit, there was some truth to it. Azure was too timid, always second guessing, but she knew if anyone was in trouble she would be there right away, thats for sure. In this case she was just worried she would get in the way.

Carter ended the some grimm that got caught in his trap, while the others did the same. The grimm diminished and when the last one was killed before Curve, he watched the remains dissipate before him. His attention moved to the ice that remained on the ground, his knives still stuck in them. With his laid-back, lazy walk he went over to pick them up. Bending down he could her the ice cracking under the sun, he sighed, and pulled out a blade, putting it back in to the inside of his sweater then moved onto the next.

Azure looked at Curve who was storming to Locke, you could almost see steam coming out from his ears. He yelled at him. Threatened him. Degraded him. And he didnt stop. Azure's blood began to boil. Curve was opressing him. When she looked at Curve all she saw were the humans that didnt like the faunus population. All the hate she beared through as a child suddenly emerged from her memory. The fur on her tail puffed, aswell as her hair. Her eyebrows pinched together and a low growl rumbled in her throat. Every awful word that came out of his mouth felt like it was being said to her. Every sentence just made her want to go after him. Azure is patient, shes kind, and forgiving and slow to anger. But like everyone else, shes got a few switches that can instantly bring out her wild side. "I swear on my blood i will kill you," that was it, that was all she needed. Her heart raced faster, the dim flame in her was now an uncontrolable wild fire, she felt her face get hot but as soon as one hand touched one of her pistols, she felt another hand firmly grip her wrist.

Azure snapped her head to look at who it was. "Stay out of it," the calm and monotone voice of Carter spoke out. Azure looked at him up down and tried to pull her hand away but he pulled it back,"I mean it, that isnt your team. Let them deal with it," he let her go. Azure took a step back away from the stranger,"It is not fair, it was an accident but he made it seem like it was deliberate," she looked at Curve and the others then looked away,"He wouldnt be much of a better leader anyway, not with that temper." Azure never talked to strangers, atleast not that quickly, it took time for her to warm up but when she was angry she didnt care about anything. The faunus turned away from Carter and the others,"Glynda is right. We should leave, Big Boots has enough of the negative energy to call a Nevermore," she said as she made her way to Kuro's side.

"Big Boots?" Carter questioned. He looked back at Curve and instantly knew what she meant,"Hm.." was all he said. The young boy looked at Kuro and Mel and made his way to them aswell, jogging to catch up with Azure,"The little one is right," he looked to Kuro,"Negative energy just attracts more grimm," his head jerked back to Curve,"And if that idiot had half a brain to read a book once in a while he'd know that...We really should do as Glynda says."

@apoliseno

"Carter, that's the smartest thing I've heard from a male member in a long time!" replied Mel, she was a tad bitter that she was not able to show off her skills to Azure, "Better to leave a battle Breathing than in a body bag, I say!" she said. ((@HoneyBear\-Kat Does this work?))

Locke felt that he faced this type of music before. He was familiar of the sound, and the dance. It was exactly like what happened to his old team. It was because of him that it was separated in the first place. It was like a dream. Locke's body moved on ts own. As he got up blood dripped from his forehead going over his good eye to his cheek. He had that glare in his eyes. "OJ.... I need some time to think..." As he walked away Locke's blood landed on his weapon and dripped from his weapon which he still gripped on tightly. He knew OJ knew what he was going through. Some time has passed minutes? Hours? Locke didn't know. He stood in the center of the training room next to the control panel. Something in his mind convinced him to do this. He activated the control and unleashed 3 training droids all armed with melee weapons. It began. The droids charged him and Locke dodged to his best ability still taking a few hits here and there. He nicked their armor in plenty of places. Locke's wound was deep not just his physical wounds but mental and emotional ones too. The fight continued on. With a few quick dodges and well placed jumps he found himself a good distance from the droids. Locke began to mumble "I-I won't break..." The image of his old team light up in his mind. "I won't forget... I won't forsake the memory of my friends..." The Droids charged at Locke with a great speed. "I may not be the best leader... nor a leader in general... (Tears started to fall from his good eye mixing in with the blood) But I'll continue to fight! I may fall one day but not today!!!!" Locke shot his arrow and this one was much bigger than his usual ones and as it hit the droids they were short circuited and fell. Locke too fell but on to his knees. He pounded the floor with his fist while tears started to hit the floor. The memory of his old team still flashed in his mind. "I will not fall... and i will not fail again." Another flash but this time it was one particular old team member. "I won't fail a second time." It soon began to rain outside and thunder could be heard within the training room.

Sward faded as Curve carried him. that Ursa really packed a punch. Or at least had a very thick head. It was dark but as he opened his eyes he found
himself in the school infirmary. His leg hurt. Not that broken feeling more like burnt. Well this isn't good. How could he have been to careless. Those grimm were like nothing has ever faced. Well he'll think about that later. As Sward scanned the room he noticed a card and a juice box next to it. As he read it he knew it was from Curve just because the way it was written. "Well I guess I'll just sit here and recover.. (YAWN)." This time Sward had the perfect excuse for being lazy. It began to rain. Good... Sward loved the rain. It helped him sleep.

Garnet watched as the grimm loaded onto the train carts as it began to rain. "This is peculiar... Seems a few are mi-" She then turned to face Jett and her other two subordinates. "We're leaving now! Each one of you take a train and meet at the rendezvous point!" Jett nodded his head and jumped onto a Nevermore and flew off the other two jumped on the train and were whisked away. Garnet then turned on her comm. "Sir... We are missing a few grimm. It appears they were. destroyed." The comms were silent for a little. (Ragnarok) " Return immediately. We can't let Beacon figure out our plan. Not this early in the game. Return to home base." (Garnet) "Yes sir." Her eyes shined for a moment and another nevermore appeared and whisked her away as well. As she flew away lightning struck and thunder boomed as the rain poured harder.

It was getting closer to lunchtime, and Locke was nowhere to be seen. OJ was starting to get concerned. He checked their room, he checked the dining hall, he didn't find him at either of those places. He knew Locke would be in the training room after he failed to find him in the library. Walking into the large expansive area, he saw Locke in the middle of the droid sim floor, in the process of having a breakdown. OJ shook his head and stepped closer to his partner. "Yo." He said, squatting down next to Locke, his weight balanced on the balls of his feet, "You don't look too good. You need to eat." There was alot more OJ could say, maybe something to comfort Locke, something about Vixen, one of the reasons their team had split. But OJ didn't, Vixen was a bad memory. And a bitch. Well, he really didn't think that, but hey, it was kinda true.

Some background on Vixen from OJ's memory. Vixen was a red-headded, bouncy, happy-go-lucky girl. She was a fox faunice, and always was swishing her tail about. A real flirt, that one. The last member of their team was named Evvie, and together, they made team LOVE (cheesy, I know, but OJ didn't care. He just went with it). Evvie and Locke eventually became romantically involved, and they were happy for a while. Vixen wasn't too happy about this, but she lived with it. OJ figured it was just a female dominance thing. Anyways, Vixen had started taking a bit of a turn halfway through the semester. She grew darker, confrontational, and teh thing tht was most suspicious that only OJ noticed was that she was increasingly late to class. She never hung out with the rest of the group. OJ brought this to Evvie and Locke's attention, and one night, they decided to stay up late to figure out what was wrong with her. Sure enough, Vixen was leaving in the middle of the night. Where to, nobody knew. But when they suprised her one night, and asked her about what she was doing, Vixen flew into a firey rage. The team was taken aback, and when Evvie tried to calm her down, Vixen killed her. Vixen fled via smashed window, and was never seen again. Locke thought it was all his fault, and you can guess where that led to.

"Bruh, I know what's bothering you. You need to stop." OJ attempted to comfort Locke, placing a hand on his shoulder, "Don't think man. Thinking's dangerous. Come on, I doubt Curve will apologise, but this sure isn't helping.
