Fandom RWBY: Sovereignty of Ages OOC and CS

Name: Daedelus Steele

Nickname: None

Age: 17

Height: 5'11

Race: Human

Aura Color: Dark blue-ish grey

Former school association: Sanctum

Skills: Daedelus is well versed in the maintenance of various machines and mechanical devices. He is able to fix, repair and even build most basic mechanisms from basic parts although he struggles with electronics. Daedelus is skilled at using most pistols, favoring revolvers. He is also capable of handling knives but struggles due to his tendency to ignore melee. He's a good driver when it comes to ground vehicles and knows how to pilot most small airships due to his knowledge of the controls due to his studies but does not have much hands-on experience. He also has next to no knowledge on the use of large scale ships.

Semblance: Daedelus is able to manipulate physical machinery without touching it in a form of "technomancy". However, this ability is unable to affect electronics.

Fighting style: fast-paced, mid-range fighter. focuses on using his gun over his knife leaving him open in close quarters. He is a fast shot but maintains accuracy, assisted by his goggles. he likes to think of himself as a gunslinger

Weaponry/Accessories: A dark blue revolver with gold inlays of cogs leading along the barrel from the chamber, whos handle is able to snap to sit directly behind the chamber, the underside then releases a blade, shaped like a bowie knife. He also wears steampunk-style goggles with lights and magnifying glasses.

Appearance: Daedelus is a lithe, light built boy with tightly packed muscles and rather broad shoulders. His hair is a very dark blue [#08192b] and hangs scruffily down to his ears, held back from his eyes by his goggles. He wears black cargo trousers with light brown/tan steel-toed work boots. he wears a dark grey [#161616] short sleeved t-shirt under a bright blue [#2200FF] pullover hoodie with an extra pocket above the usual one.

Personality: Daedelus is a nerdy, loud and kind of annoying person with a tendency to talk relentlessly about his current projects and interests, mostly machinery. He is slightly awkward and fidgets incessantly with his weapon, goggles or some kind of project. He is a rather energetic person to be around and is normally causing quite a bit of chaos as he goes about his day. This, alongside his constant attempts to be funny through sarcasm and childish jokes often results in people finding him annoying. He does stand by his friends however and will protect those he feels needs it. he hopes to find people willing to put up with his rambling and tinkering and all of his quirks.

Backstory: Born to a high ranking Atlas military engineer, Daedelus was born to tinker. His mother taught him how to work as an engineer and a soldier. This ended up inspiring Daedelus to become a huntsman, just like his deceased father. When his father died, his mother decided to move to Vale. Unable to attend Atlas academy due to this relocation, Daedelus settled on the next best option. Beacon.

When you say Daedulus is a good driver, do you mean driving cars?

If Daedelus read a bunch of books on different kinds of machinery you could say he has knowledge of Airship operations even though he doesn't have flying experience. That would be enough even without saying that he would struggle with airships as it would be implied, although you could say he's a decent pilot, but struggle with airships above a certain size if that's what you're going for.

Have you ever played DFO SlightlyOpenCurtains SlightlyOpenCurtains ?

Oh, cool! He's actually majorly changed and nerfed from his original concept and I based the new version of him on the Artificer class from Dungeons & Dragons.

I've been thinking of how to use the character I'll be making, and I have an idea of how I'm going to do things with his semblance and weaponry. Too bad I have to wait three hours before I can even get started on it.

A combination of a few different things. It would be easier to show the character sheet (once it's made) rather than try to explain the concept.
