I don't know what Aster's plan initially was but... other than the eagle, having a homemade tidal wave is pretty sweet.

Nah. Bringing it down does nothing if everyone still gets zero rushed by the Grimm on the ground.

Aster's power isn't perfect, right? It could make sense she was right with Lapis bringing it down and where it would come down, but Lapis finishes it before anyone can move on it, something she didn't see?

Stop and think about this logically. You have one larger Grimm in the sky that hunters can outnumber and outflank to bring it down, and you also have a bunch of Grimm on the ground that can outflank and outmaneuver the hunters with their superior numbers, not to mention the possibility of other giant Grimm on the ground that may or may not be headed their way. Which would you co sider the more immediate concern? Wouldn't you want to gain a numbers advantage rather than focusing on one giant bird?

Besides, there's a huntress on the Nevermore as well. Attacking it could put that Huntress in danger, especially with hiw big the attack would be.

All good points. Lapis could theoretically snatch the Huntress and keep her safe, but with her attention divided between keeping Bistre floating safely and attacking the bird, her attacks would be weaker.

Everyone is wanting a nova from her, correct? Lol
