RWBY: Old Rites (In Character)

As Seraphina left the Ignacia was a little confused, did she not realize that  dia's muire dhuit meant "Hello to you too"? Ignacia looked over to the door way to see if she was coming back. In a few moments Seraphina popped around the door frame with two cups of water. Very confused, Ignacia asked, "What do you think dia's muire dhuit means?" her right brow shifted down as she questioned her interpretation of her words. "Well, It means, 'hello to you too'." Ignacia was expecting something weird, but her understanding of conversation was... unconventional. The thought process Seraphina had likely jumped through one too many hoops to come to the conclusion that she wanted more water.

Seraphina put the two cups of water to the side, dropped to a knee and bowed her head. The crimson covered stubs of where her horns used to be sparkled a bit. Her eyes were wide in horror and disgust, her hands clutching each other for dear life. She spoke through near crying teeth, "I-I... I... gmmm... I..." She kept on stuttering, trying to explain but getting minor flashbacks in her head. People, she could never work with people... she was way to scared of doing even a single mistake. She said, "I... Ju-ju-just... th... ummm.." She fell backwards with her legs crossed. She put her face into her hands. Why did she have to disappoint every person she came across? Why did she have to ruin everything she got close to...

Ignacia was further stunned at Seraphina, as she dropped down to the ground. What an unusual fellow. Is she crying? Igna didn't feel bad about it, she was a unnerved at how emotional she was. It was a simple misunderstanding, it was weird, she grit her teeth, it's pathetic.

Igna never understood people who woe about little mistakes, call it a mental quip or whatever, but she doesn't care. It's a sign of the weakness of will. Crying is a way for you to let go of your worries and let your brain forget about them. It isn't admiral or a cause for her concern, it's annoying.

She sat up and walked to the door, leaving Seraphina by the bed. Her hands in her pockets and her eyes glaring, she trotted by Neil and Grau without a comment. Walking out of the infirmary, she opened her scroll and read the message from Ozpin while strolling down the hall.

Alani gave a low growl to herself, fist clenched at her sides as her tempter, while indeed a considerable decline from the inferno it was, still simmered at a nice and balmy ticked off. "Stars above...with a guy like that we're going to be lucky if we even survive our first official mission. He's probably going to ditch us the moment things go south...juuuust wait." She growled, jaw clenched as she spoke through clenched teeth. "I mean...how the hell do they even MAKE a guy like him leader!?" The faunus exclaimed in irritation, throwing her hands down by her sides in her anger, kicking a small stone amidst her frustration and watching it skitter across the paved stone courtyard before tumbling into a bush. Eventually though Alani managed to simmer down enough to cease clenching her teeth and fists, her gate softening to a normal pace from the heated firm stomps she'd been exhibiting shortly before. At the subject of their group's fourth teammate being mentioned Alani tugged her own scroll out. "Your guess is as good as mine. Heck I didn't even know what she looked like until we got the team member info." She stated as they walked along the courtyard. Amidst flipping through her scroll Alani's stomach suddenly elicited an abrupt and pronounced grumbling growl that could almost be mistaken for an Ursa Minor, the sound rumbling for a few seconds before slowly dying down to a gentle rumble and finally fading away. The faunus halted mid stride as that exclamation from her stomach filled the air, her eye going wide as her cheeks quickly flushed a bright crimson. "U-Uh..." Alani's train of thought was briefly derailed from the raucous declaration of her stomach's rather poor mood, herself just as surprised as the number around who had paused in bewilderment from the sound. Cheeks still burning that bright crimson Alani looked to Grey, her free hand scratching her cheek slightly. "Maybe....she's in the dining hall?" She suggested, giving a soft chuckle,as she scratched her cheek nervously.

"Usually the determination of team leaders is decided through the trail we were in by observation of skill in battle. If they chose simply by personality rather than skill, well that wouldn't end up well for the team would it?" Grey replied when Alani half ranted about how Kaden was chosen for captain. He was about to make suggestions for where they could find their last teammates when a rather loud growl erupted out of no where, which soon quieted down enough to find the source to be the fiery haired lass's stomach. He chuckled quietly when he found out as such and suggested the dining area. "I think that'd be a good place to look, I mean who can deny the call of food?" He replied, with slight sarcasm in the last part of his sentence. The two soon made their way to said dining area.

"Oh thank you... All of you..." Adrian sniffled as her teammates promised to keep her little oddity a secret. It felt nice that she could depend on these peo-, no, her teammates and she resolved that she would pay it back in full or even more. The combination of this excitement and the worrying she did earlier made her notice how tired she was. And just her luck, her team had decided to check out their rooms and this made her look forward to her bed.

"Yes, let's go..." Adrian said in agreement before following the group towards the dormitories. Once there, a quick check of their Scrolls showed that their room is Room 622. So it was up the stairs and a right turn before they reached their destination. Adrian was slightly awed at the fact that their Scroll serves as the room key before following the others into the dorm.

"Hm... Comfortable.... Plenty of room.... I think its workable if we set up sections for each person..." Adrian muttered to herself as she set her sights on the bed by the corner. She always liked corners. It felt... comfortable somehow and she knew her other self likes them for how it limits the angle of attack for any potential threats.

Joshua had walked with the rest of the group up to their room, 622, as his scroll had said and while in transit he began to think to himself quietly about the team composition. He himself was a medic with a hammer and a shotgun that could create shields, and Ryuuko was a user of a semblance that transformed into a dragon after enough time had passed. However, he had no idea what Adrian/Marie and Varien could do, but given enough time, he could figure it out. As for the ability to take hits and keep going, Joshua was still at the top of the leaderboard with his semblance and physical strength, although he could see Varien being able to take a few hits. However, Ryuuko couldn't take that too many hits, due to how he had to heal her, so he would need to keep an eye out for his partner. Adrian/Marie on the other hand was a mystery, Marie seemed to be the more assertive of the two, but it was Adrian's body so things would reveal themselves to Joshua no doubt.

Reaching 622, Joshua watched as Adrian used her scroll to unlock the door and open it before proceeding inside. Joshua caught the door as it was about to close and held the door open for Varien and Ryuuko before entering himself and closing the door. The room they entered was more or less a common room with four lockers to his left and a balcony straight on ahead through a sliding glass patio door that could be seen through plate glass. To his right, Joshua noticed Adrian walking through it, probably to their shared room so he followed her into the room. Four beds could be seen each occupying a corner of the room complete with a nightstand to boot. Two beds were positioned against one wall and the other two were against a wall with a window in the center. The wall opposite of the door he entered possessed a door which seemed to be to the restrooms. Joshua was not a fan of being woken up by sunlight as it annoyed him especially when he was having a good dream. Claiming the bed in the corner where the opposite wall and the wall with the window intersected Joshua placed his possessions and bags under the bed and decided to deal with it later. Rummaging through his bag he pulled out his handheld system and booted up a game before lying on his back and putting in earbud headphones.

Varien nodded to Joshua, who held the door open for him, and walked inside. One of the first things he noticed was a glass door leading out onto a balcony. He walked over to the glass door and slid it open before walking outside. Varien closed the door behind him before walking over to the railing and leaning on it, enjoying the view before him. I truly was a wonderful view. The sun would rise behind him, and rest before his eyes, allowing him a perfect view of the sunset and the night lights of Vale. Varien knew that he would be spending many a night out here. Solace was nice during the night, it gave him time to think.

So here he was, residing in one of the dorm rooms of possibly the most prestigious Hunter Academy in the world. A great number of things had led him to where he was now, some he was proud of, others not so well. He still wondered to this day of those boys had felt pain during their final moments. A part of him sincerely wished they had, but the rest of him hoped they hadn't. He couldn't let his team know what happened. They would think of him as a monster. He was nothing but a murderer trying his damnedest to redeem himself. But his team didn't need to know that, it wasn't necessary.

Neil nodded at her thanks, but he continued to rub his neck and look down at the floor. Dad...Even after five years he was still a jerk. And with Frank here...things at Beacon would be harder...DARN IT! When he moved on and got his own life, they JUST NOW wanted him back?! When he was finally about to make friends and do what he actually loves?! And not even for him! As Neil thought about it more and more, he frowned and bit his lip, hugging his knees. He couldn't go back to that...couldn't go back to those endless lessons on proper business techniques and Business portfolios and Business this and Business that. It was just too much! He didn't want to dye his hair grey again, he didn't WANT to see those same stupid grey walls everyday, he didn't WANT to be the youngest boring stupid apathetic douche of the three brothers!

...

He wanted to be Neil.

Neil's frown deepened. They ALWAYS had to ruin everything! Was there any dad in the world as horrible as his?! And, as if the gods decided to taunt him, his question came in the sound of loud thumps. Neil hadn't been here long enough, but he had a vague idea of who it was. Looking up, he saw Cervus standing there at the door. He flinched a little when she had saw the little water droplets that led straight to him...and if she was in the hall just now...

Neil blinked at her beginning sentence. Sure, she was kind of whispering, but he heard her fine. His dad, in a way, was like that. But instead of ripping bones, he ripped out personality and freedom. Her next words were quiet, causing Neil to lean in a bit to here them...only to blink and lean back at her words...she...wanted to be friends? Neil looked down and blinked. He talked to a lot of people here, but He wasn't exactly sure if they were actually his friends...but to hear Cervus say it felt...reassuring. Wordlessly getting up, he quickly walked up to her...and hugged her. "So-Sorry!" He laughed, his mood slowly brightening. "I just like to hug people when I'm happy! ...It'd be awesome if we were friends, Cervus!" He said, stepping back and looking up at her, smiling wide and proud. "And Don't worry! If we stick together, things will get easier! I promise!"

Hearing someone behind him, he turned and looked to see Grau with his hand out, introducing himself. Blinking, Neil grinned and shook vigorously. "Well, Heya, Grau! Name's Neil...Well, ya probably already knew that!" He laughed.

Grau Kohlrabenschwarz

Grau let out a smile, not at all put off by the pink-haired boys vigorous handshaking.  "Yes, I did already know," he answered with a chuckle.  "I hope my lineage does not provide much issue for anyone on the team, as I may have expected," he mused, frowning.  "Well, none the less it is good to meet you.  If you don't mind me asking though, who is our team leader?"  he inquired, an eyebrow slightly raised, his grey eyes moving between Igna and Neil, wondering where the other team member, Zion was.  He sat down on a bed beside the two of them, summoning a small raven to sit upon his shoulder, as he pulled out a few small packaged crackers from his pocket to unwrap and feed to the bird, a bit distracted from paying attention to his teammates.  However, he took a moment to gaze at the awkward faunus who was speaking to the two of them, a bit curious as to what had her so nervous.  After a few seconds however, he concluded it might have something to do with his presence, so he decided to introduce himself, to at least not be a stranger.  "Hello, I'm Grau Kohlrabenschwarz," he introduced with a smile.

Even from the casual reaction from Grey, the faunus' blush didn't die down fully till they both were in the dining hall. It wasn't until the smell of food caught in her nose that Alani realized exactly HOW hungry she was. Another grumble left her stomach, Alani placing a hand on it as a soft sigh left her. "Guess that fight took more outta me than I thought." She remarked with a soft chuckle, playing off the still audible demands of her stomach even though that ache of hunger grew with each passing moment. Needless to say as she neared the selection of food stuffs available for students the faunus' eyes nearly twinkled in awe. "Ooooh I think I've died and gone to paradise." She murmured softly before quickly getting busy filling her meal trey. By the time she took a seat at one of the three large tables within the dining hall, her tray filled with some chicken, beef,  veggies, and an few sandwiches  as well along with a simple bottle of water. For someone of her size the gusto of Alani's hunger apparently knew no bounds as she inhaled one chicken leg only to devour another, taking brief pauses to wet her pallet with her water.

Zion Waters

Zion's face was stone cold like normal, but his emotions were deeper than that. The sight of his cousin Cobra, was a surprise but made him wonder why no one back home would tell him. They stood in the courtyard of Beacon, finding it to be the best spot to speak about their affairs. Zion's eyes narrowed as Cobra just stood there like an idiot until he burst into a fit of laughter. After seeing Zion wasn't prepared to lighten the mood, Cobra stopped laughing and suddenly tensed. "So you didn't know I was coming then? Yes, uncl- your father wanted it to remain a secret until he could make arrangements with Ozpin. I got out of prison only a week ago so there wasn't that much time. Well, now that I'm here... I'm guesting you will need my help to execute the plan you spoke to me about two years ago." Zion's eyes turned to razors when Cobra mentioned his plan. He sighed and sat down on a nearby bench and gestured Cobra to follow. Before he began to speak, he waited for a group of over-excited girls to walk by them. Cobra pretended to gag and Zion managed to make out a smirk.

"Yes.." Zion started with a scratchy voice, "The plan: To avenge my mother. I knew I couldn't do it alone so I figured out that I needed strong people to help me.. but you wouldn't be enough. This is why I went to Beacon. I need to find people that will help me in my cause. You also have something to ask Ozpin about your parents. Is this the plan you're referring to?" Cobra slowly nodded and waved his hand in a circle, gesturing Zion to continue. Zion leaned back on the bench and looked up towards the sky. "I have only come to know about one potential member. Grau Kohlrabenschwarz is here. What about you?" Cobra raised his eyes with interest at the mention of Grau.

"Really? I've heard a lot about that kid. You think you'll be able to convince him though? His whole family is a cast of a horror movie. No... I haven't found anyone. The girl I was stuck with was truly a disappointment... and weird. She has crystals on her body. The Exams weren't anything particularly hard or interesting except for... y'know where we got ambushed from knights." Zion nodded and his mind pulled out as Cobra continued talking about the crystal-girl. He couldn't help but think of the Queen when his cousin mentioned the knights. It might be something he would have to look into, if he really cared about the welfare of Beacon. Even if her true intentions were hidden, he wouldn't be here to figure it out why. Zion stood up and began walking away to find his group members, without even saying goodbye to Cobra. When he looked behind him to see where Cobra would go-- he was gone. Zion shook his head and made his way towards the school. I hate him.

"Heh, I'd say so" he replied as they entered the dining hall. Soon after Alani had rushed off to get her food, Grey's stomach had grumbled some as well, though significantly quiter than her's. When he had sat down at the table next to her, he had already gotten himself a chicken sandwich, some fruit, and a bottle of pink lemonade. He quietly ate, occasionally glancing at the orange-haired girl whom was eating her meal impressive speed. "Food's that bad, huh?" he asked her with a sarcastic smile.

It wasn't until Alani was halfway through her second portion of cooked beef that she paused, fork in her mouth mid bite, at Grey's remark. Once again a blush crossed her cheeks, albeit lighter than earlier. Chewing and swallowing the faunus cleared her throat with a slight smile, that faint blush holding on her cheeks. It was rather obvious she'd never really had to deal with eating among others, her table manners leaving something to desire from the gusto at which she ate. "Y-Yeah, terrible, I'd hate for the other students to have to suffer this slop." She quipped, recovering moderately well before popping another bite of beef into her mouth. "Sorry, I guess I didn't realize how much of a toll that fight yesterday took on me. Never had to use my semblance so intensely before." Alani remarked as she finished off her second plate and moved onto a small sundae. "Been a while since I've gotten this hungry from semblance strain." She added as she enjoyed her sweet confection. "Speaking of semblances that weird barrier thing, that a part of your semblance I'm guessing? How else can you use that? Kinda neat if I say so myself." Alani inquired in a friendly tone, her curiosity to exactly how Grey utilized his semblance rising as she munched on her dessert. Grey seemed okay, though compared to the only other teammate she'd met up with it wasn't like he had that big of a challenge to surpass on avoiding her ire.

Jasmine was all too happy to be out of the hospital bed. She never did like being coddled. Koamaru's scroll message only further encouraged her to head out, possibly to find the others as well. The scroll read his message out to her and she spoke back, the device converting her voice to a reply in text: Sure. Meet up at the Dorm in twenty? She pocketed the device and began walking. Though she wasn't injured, it had still been a long day, and she was starving. She'd just take a quick detour to the dining hall to snatch some chicken or something.

@Hamilton @Enkye@randomizedrp

Ryuuko thanked Joshua, before leaning on the wall to check her scroll for messages. She didn't mind where her bed was, so she decided to wait until everyone chose a place to rest. They did so rather quickly and she mentally noted which bed was hers. Glancing back at her scroll's screen, Ryuuko received many messages at once. How can someone even try to respond at such a rate? After an ocean of texts, it finally stopped.

"Hey, Ryuu, how are things going? Dunno if you knew, but I'm a Beacon student, just like you. Whole knight thing was pretty bad, but you should see my teammates... one of them couldn't even hold his weapon correctly...lol, even in your novice years, you didn't mess up that badly. :PPPPPP welp, it's gonna be all good, since I'm here to help these rookies out. You're probably busy with the rest of the family's texts, but send me a message soon. Hope you've been making lots of friends. "

A smile appeared on Ryuuko's face. This smile wasn't her usual, obligated polite one. This smile was natural. So, her cousin Yuki made it to Beacon, too? ...well, that wasn't too unexpected, considering how her family always went to some place for huntsmen. The size of her family made it hard to keep track of who was where, though if she remembered correctly, one of her relatives was a teacher here... or was he still teaching? Well, at least Yuki was here. She sat on her bed and exchanged tons of messages with her cousin.

Soon after Mocha left the medbay to find her team, Agnes awoke, resting on a check-up table in the airship. Her arm was replaced and filtered for all biological hazards, while she was thoroughly scanned for whatever contaminants that may have found their way into her. Apparently there was nothing, which was relieving news for her. Agnes walked off the ship standing sturdy, the sheen of her arms reflected in her faint smile. Though it did suck to go through that, getting a polish and shine did raise her spirits. She approached beacon, smirking at the glimmer off her hands.

However, her thoughts were soon interrupted by a buzz from her scroll. One of her team members asked to meet up in the dorm rooms. Scanning through her scroll, she found a campus map. Looking up from it, she looked in it's direction. Hmm, there are no things I need to do, might as well get there first.

Joshua was on a hot streak, he was blazing through the level he was playing and he was doing quite well. However, Joshua heard Ryuuko come in and sit on the bed to his right marking it as her own. Satiating his curiosity, Joshua turned back to his game and continued to play until he reached the point at what made him turn off the game last time, a particularly hard boss fight. ~Crud, this is going to be difficult,~ Joshua said to himself as the fight began. The first two phases were relatively easy and he didn't bat an eye while plowing through them, but the third phase was what made him angry the last time. Suddenly the boss activated its signature move and Joshua's character was caught in its' grasp before it wrung the life out of him. "Son of a bitch!" Joshua swore under his breath as the screen flashed, "Game Over." He didn't see what he was doing wrong, his abilities were the best they could be and he knew the boss' patterns, but the last attack was what drove him mad. Switching his handheld to a music mode, he put on a music track and placed his hands behind his back beginning to contemplate on the past few days.

@Danchou Tsubomi @Cruor Flumine @Wandering Hollow

Ryuuko glanced at Joshua after hearing his quiet profanity, a hint of amusement appearing on her face. She recognized the game, a pretty fun one at that, and definitely recognized the boss. It was hard to tell if it was sincerely challenging or severely unbalanced. Whichever one it was, the boss was seeming unbeatable. Tired from the day, she laid down and closed her eyes. Perhaps she could manage to get a few minutes of rest. After all, it was rather relaxing, with how silent things were. It’d be—

                “DON’T LOSE YOUR WAYYYY!”

She sat up hurriedly, turning red and answering the call. Did she seriously forget to change her cousin’s ringtone? “I-I shall be right back,” Ryuuko said as she headed out to the hall. Closing the door, Ryuuko lowered her head. “…Yuki, um, hello…do you remember how you changed the ringtone to a custom one? The one that goes 'don't lose your way'?”

“…oh, that? I forgot about that,” her cousin’s voice replied, unaware of the embarrassment Ryuuko was dealing with. “Isn’t that like an anime opening? Like…oh, right! The character has the same name as you, yeah?”

“Yes, she does. What do you wish to talk about?”

“Last name bringing you problems as usual?”

Ryuuko paused. She shook her head. “N-no, actually. I hope it stays that way, since I have seen what happens with you.”

A laugh came out of the phone. “Seriously? I love it. It’s nice to get all the attention, but that’s not your sort of thing, eh?”

Cup recieved the message, shrugged, and started a walk for the dorm room.

"Finally something else than sitting and blinking to do."

He told himself as he walked past people he probably didn't know. And maybe someone he knew. He checked his scroll to read the message again and see if he was going the right way. Fortunately he was. He walked and walked, and described the way he walked to himself in his thoughts. After bumping into some students, making few wrong turns, and walking past the dining hall, he reached the dorm rooms.

"Sure, anybody else?"

He told himself.

Varien stopped leaning on the railing at the sound of the doors opening and closing. He watched as his new leader walked out into the hall to answer her scroll. He let out a sigh and looked over to the bedroom window. They wouldn't be able to see him from over there, that was a good thing. Sliding open the glass door, he pulled the curtains shut before stepping bsck out onto the balcony and closing the sliding glass door once again. There. Complete privacy. Disengaging the bio lock on his helmet, he took a seat in one of the chairs that was on the balcony and set his helmet on the small table next to his. He reached for a bag on his belt before stopping, thinking about if he wanted to have some or not, before pulling out a flask. He quickly unscrewed the top and put the metal rim to his burnt lips, feeling the burning liquid within flow onto his tongue and down his throat. He coughed once before turning his gaze to the sun, which was now setting. It was a truly beautiful spot he had been given, the ability to see these vibrant colors fill the sky. Today has been interesting, yes, but tomorrow may yield many more adventures.

Mocha walked with her team to the cafeteria. The notion of food made no impact on her, she was indifferent to eating at the moment and she didn't feel like asking for food just for the sake of having it in front of her, it'd be a waste. She walked passed the line, and sat down at the table with Lyrika. The pile of food on her team member's plate seemed a tad excessive to her. Wasting things wasn't in her style, but if Lyrika had the appetite to complete it, then who's she to judge? Mocha slouched over the cool tabletop, laying her head on it as the rest of the team made way with their food in hand.

Koamaru walked at a slightly more restrained pace than usual. He was still slightly exhausted, no doubt from his wound and his meeting with the queen. The end result continued to drain his strength and patience even as he walked to his assigned dorm. He doubted that even when he arrived, he wouldn't be able to relax.

Gaucho was happy though. In fact, he couldn't have been happier. The slow pace didnt bother him at all. The canine trotted along happily, occasionally running ahead slightly or stopping to take a more detailed look at something along the way. Mostly dorm doors seemed to interest him. No doubt he was listening to the teams inside planning their weekend or studying or whatever they were doing. Gaucho always had an interest in people.

Koamaru saw one of his assigned teammates, Cuprum, ahead in the hallway. Somehow, he had made time to mark the student's face and name during the hectic Emerald Forest incident. Perhaps Cuprum had done the same? The day was full of surprises after all.

"Hey, Cuprum. Has anyone else showed up?" Koamaru offered his greeting as he approached and Gaucho yipped happily, probably a greeting of some kind as well. Koamaru's voice had more of an exhausted and irritated tone.

In tow, wrapped tightly around Koamaru's right arm, was a girl just a head shorter than him. Her resemblance was strikingly similar to that of the visiting queen. In fact, if she had been wearing a dress she might as well have been an exact slightly shorter copy. Her attire seemed to be more that of a Beacon student or wandering traveller. Her ears seemed a bit more pronounced as well, seeming somewhat faunis-like.

Though her appearance was similar yot he queen, her personality was very obviously contrasting. She was still elegant in his movements, but much more energetic. Her face beamed with a smile and a slight skip accompanied her step. In addition, her voice carried many more infectiously joyous notes with it. She still hugged Koamaru's arm tightly but seemed to be near to jumping in place from excitement. "Hello! My name is Glaci!"

Koamaru sighed and let his head drop to the side opposite Glaci slightly. It was going to be a long rest of the day trying to explain everything.

Lyrika shook her head at her teammate's concerns. "Now see here; I've spent all 16 years of my life shackled to my father's idea of a good diet, which mostly consisted of tiny cuts of finely prepared meat and fruits and vegetables you've likely never even heard of. Some people might fantasize about eating fine food, but when you've had nothing but that malarkey your whole life, you tend to think of eating something more normal. Now, without further ado, I am going to take one of these "potato chips"..." She carefully opened the bag she had bought and took out a single chip. "...and I will eat it." She then delicately placed the chip in her mouth and bit down on it.

"My my, I like these." She said. She then proceeded to eat more, in the same singular, dainty fashion she had done the first time. She then looked into the bag. "But there are so many. I will probably have to finish this later." She set the bag aside, unaware that she had only eaten a small portion of the contents of the bag. She then decided to try her drink. She was instantly struck by the keen sugary taste. She had never had something quite like this. After a few conservative sips from it, she felt she had enough. "Perhaps I should have ordered less. Oh well." It wasn't as though she needed to worry about the potential waste. Her father would be the one picking up the bill, and she knew he could afford this easily. Hopefully she could just eat this all later, at any rate.

"Now then..." She began, hoping not to dwell on her quirky eating habits. "...where do you all see yourselves in 10 years time?" It was something of a spur of the moment question. She had a feeling they might just all expect to be hunters, but then, Mocha was Atlas military, so perhaps she only intended to be here so long. But it would be interesting to see if anyone had unique goals in mind.

Cup looked at Koamaru. He raised a hand and fovered his face with the other.

"Uhhhh.... Wait, you were...... Actually I don't.... let me guess...."

Cup glanced at his scroll, looked at the ceiling, and back at Koamaru.

"Koamaru. Yeah. Didn't see anyone else come. Aaaaaaand is she on our team or is she just hanging around?"

Cup said, pointing at Glaci. He looked at his scroll again. Nope, she ain't on his team.

"Nope. Not our team."

He shrugged. Should he ask for an explanation? What if it was some kind of a super secret thing? Nah, no questions for now. Cup thought.

"No, she's actually a parasite that's taken up residence on my arm." Koamaru sighed and rolled his eyes. He was very blatantly being sarcastic yet still slipping in hints of dissatisfaction.

"Yes, we are joined together now!" Glaci interjected her own comment. She didn't seem to be put off by Koamaru's parasite comment at all. Whether it was a childlike innocence or benevolence was still yet to be seen.

"Please don't say it like that." Koamaru groaned. "Shes not a part of the team, but she's an unofficial transfer. I'm supposed to be taking care of her. As soon as everyone else shows up I'll explain it a little more. It's a conversation for closed doors." The last sentence carried a more pointed tone than the rest. He wasn't entirely happy with the situation he had found himself in, but there was a hint of seriousness.

Obviously there was a lot more to explain. The fact that Glaci was royal was probably a good start. He wondered how long it would take for at least the first rumor to start circulating based solely on her appearance. His next thought came to how he would explain his connection with the queen now. It wasnt entirely complicated, but there were still a few points he still didn't fully understand himself. Perhaps a trip to the library in the morning would shed some light on the answers he needed.

Haemon, who had already wolfed down his meal, watched Lyrika in silence. Even though what she said was true, he would still kill for a meal like that! Harkon, despite being what he was, still tried to give the children of The Pit some damned good meals. and he succeeded for the most part. He made sure that the meals were nutritionally balanced as well as delicious, buthe couldn't afford the best of ingredients due to their low budget in the food court.

Potato chips and other food aside, where does he see himself in ten years? Well, that was obvious to him. He had hoped to be in one of the commanders positions in The Pit, perhaps training the new blood. So, he shrugged. "Don't really know. Hope to be doin' my job back home, keepin' the continent safe from the Grimm and all that." Convincing? He hoped so.
