Ok, the short yet informative story is, when I made my first IC post trying to talk to someone, i totally missed that @theManCalledSting was already talking to said person.
So Mel said "I have dibs" (Like, direct quote)
And Hansi felt super embarrassed, and was a bit snarky about it.
And later, Mel kind of interrupted a conversation Hansi was having with another character, and Hansi was like "Oh no, sweaty, I have dibs." in a really bitchy/partronizing/snarky way. And things kind of went nuts from there.
Of course, from most of the outside characters perspective, the second incident was a lot more public than the first, so It'll definitely affect people's perception of them both.
But essentially Hansi's pride was wounded and she has a huge problem letting stuff go, and beyond that, she's got a problem with the way Mel obsesses over Faunus ("they're people, not pets, jeez!"). If you want a more detailed version, I can write one up.

Just realized I forgot to include the instructions for this Arc regarding what the mission is within the Emerald forest, added that to Ozpin's speech.
Basically, there's large chasm at the end of the forest, inside this chasm are the ruins of an old temple where this year's relics are. Retrieve the relics and return to the base of the cliff.
Again, I have already edited this into Ozpin's speech in case you haven't read it yet.

Damn. Seriously everything happens when I'm asleep . . . Oh well.
As for teams go, I'd personally like at least one person who'll put up with Lazuli and someone who really won't. A ranged person who can cover her back would be nice but she don't have many ranged oriented people so can't be picky on that.
Though character wise, I don't think Lazuli would even care who's on her team. She views you all as tools to fulfill her goals right now anyway.
Really tempted to just push her partner into an Ursa . . . Because nothing says teamwork like attempted murder and trust issues.
I think the only person I don't want to get paired up with is Argens. As both say in their character sheets that they lack long range capabilities, that won't do well for a balanced pairing. Plus they're both power-based strikers.
I'll try posting today after my first class. Or before if I can get one done quick enough on my phone.
Also, from now until whenever, Lazuli has dubbed Teal as "Suzy Sunshine".

The things I miss while asleep. Beo wool be Mel's partner. She will tease her about her clothes. I think Beo and ha so would have an intresting mechanic, with both completing eachothers personality. And Beo would probably play the mediator between her and Mel. Beo had no idea she was flirting but would probably be somewhat embarrassed if told, though she did enjoy the reaction it got. Also she sleeps like a traquilized rock and I'm in mountain time.
