Black Market Witch
Lazuli
"Well, hi Iri . . . a . . . "
Once again looking toward the guy she had set a girl loose on, Lazuli froze for a bit as the girl ran right past him. Huh . . . So there really was an Accel . . . Well, that was disappointing. Or at least it was until the girl very much tackled some random guy, causing them both to roll down the ramp. That was something at least. Still, it would've been better to see the first one go down.
Then, realizing that her being silent was probably weird, Lazuli returned her attentions back to Iria. But what should she say? Lazuli didn't make many friends back in Atlas. She didn't exactly have time for them. Even now, she didn't approach Iria to make friends, but rather so that the girl could be her cover for her little scheme. Great . . . How do you social?! Thinking back, her mother was very good at socializing. How the hell does she talk to those other ladies during their tea times?
"How's your . . . son . . . doing?" Wait. That's not right. This girl looked too young to have a kid. Well, maybe not. Teens are getting awfully bold these days. Though she probably shouldn't just assume people are mothers when she sees them. "Whoops. Guess that jet lag is really getting to me," she laughed off. "Or maybe it's this goddamn heat!" She feigned dizziness as she said so. "I like the cold much better. Though that may be because I'm from Atlas. Maybe we should just get to the amphitheater. Those things are typically air conditioned, right?"
