Fandom RWBY: A New Year At Beacon

? Summary: Achievement Unlocked; got a partner -- sorta -- and now part of the great pack of wolves chase. ?

The landing for him was painful to watch but he seemed to recover quickly, reassuring Iria that he was fine and went over to grab a large sword that had some letters on it spelling out 'K//ildred' ... wait... that's an 'N","Knildred?" She thought as the guy introduced himself as 'Jack' who happened to be chased by a pack of wolves, his smile being awkward as he asked for her assistance in fighting them. Checking his appearance, the first thing she noticed was his height which towered over her own and with the sword, it made him look even more intimidating though he looked to be a nice guy. He had a pair of goggles sitting on his jet-black hair and his emblem proudly printed on his shirt. Blinking, Iria was surprised to see that trouble was already thrown in her way, literally almost thrown at her, but it didn't scare her off from getting some action and to help Jack,"Sure, my name is Airiana. So where are these beasts you speak of?"

"Hey thanks!" Jack said giving a proud nod, then opened his eyes to look around pointing his finger over to the location. "So Airiana, I think they are somewhere riGHT HERE!" Jack yelped as he caught one jumping at him from his side, pulling Knildred over and against his body to toss it up and over himself onto the ground. "Sneak things, sneaky sneaky FRIGGIN things." He exclaimed out, holding his sword over his shoulder and keeping a eye around. Three out of the seven he spotted were running around him, darting his eyes around for the moment one of these snarling grim was going to lunge so that he could avoid or possibly counterattack given the opening.

"I only see three right now, there were seven I think, give or take one or two I didn't see, Careful." Jack said, keeping his eyes around at the wolves, not moving his head over to face her for that comment, it could wind up giving away where she is, they shouldn't know where she is, hopefully at least, not enough time for them to smell her, and they were more focused on him so they hopefully wouldn't look up, opportunity to take out a few, assuming the rest of them didn't suddenly butt in.

"Hey, hey! You Frothy, keep your eyes on me!" he said kicking over a rock to keep their eyes on him, and to hopefully give the awareness that Airiana could take advantage of the situation given.

Grizz had stood on the last platform, because he felt like catching some shut eye before anything happened. It was a super dumb idea, he was forced to watch everyone get flung into a forest while he had to sit and wait. He found some of there landing strategies funny though and some just smashed into the ground which was great. Grizz knew what he was to do, he could picture it now, an epic landing strategy. However there was something Grizz really sucked at, and that was the whole putting work into what he was doing. I mean he could plan the next great war and win but he sure as hell was not going to go and fight for his kingdom. No he would rather sit in an underground bunker with a crap ton of food and eat till he died in a food coma. MMM food, he totally forgot his food, plus they forced him to wake up early which put him in a.....grizzly mood, heh heh. Grizz really needed to stop sitting there trying to come up with puns and thinking about food because he was going to be launched soon and he was not paying any attention to pretty much anything.

Once his platform was next in line Grizz thought of something, he never really thought about his height in this whole situation, I mean he could maybe pull it off but he was tall and bulky...eh I mean you only die once right....or was it live...no he had no idea. Grizz then was flung into the air, he looked quite epic when he was flying because he grabbed his backpack and then turning it into two massive beartraps that formed around his hands. Then he fired one and it snagged into a tree and begun to saw to tighten the grip. Damn it was cool, and grizz looked awesome, but instead of thinking about his weapon he was busy thinking of how cool it seemed. The tree branch snapped as the saw actually sawed through it and his epic Tarzan swing now ending in his face running through the dirt. "Ow...I hope and pray no one saw that.." Grizz says as he got up getting the dirt off himself. He pulled back his beartrap and started to walk forward, however he yet again forgot about what he had just done. The tree branch was on its last string and then fell right on top of him "Oh how the mighty have fallen...I'm going to die in the first minute of this trial. But at least I can say that I SAW this coming, I AXED for it...I am quite the poor SAP." Grizz says with a corny smile while he pointed to the tree like an idiot.

The tree of course did not say anything. Clearly Grizz hit his head really hard because he was talking to a tree and he looked like he was trying to seal his scent by covering himself in dirt and leaves. Grizz grabbed the branch and began to walk away from the tree."
Hmmm im going out on a LIMB here branch buddy but I think we should head yonder." he says pointing off into the forest leaning on his fairly big branch buddy "I'm KNOT joking." Grizz says patting the tree branch, he left with his branch buddy into the forest looking for others, he had an impeccable nose and could smell them out but he just scurried off into the forest looking like he was crazy and holding a tree branch while his weapon resided on his back.

Argus heaved as hard as he could to pull out Silfr Geisa from the head of the Beowulf. He honestly did not think he hit it that hard, but his overhead smash combined with the speed of his drop must have driven itself deeper than he originally thought; he also didn't expect the Beowulf to drop in one strike, but he figured he just must have gotten a lucky strike in. It was only when he finally wrenched the hammer-head free, causing him to stumble backwards and twist 180 degrees did he hear a voice that now came from in front of him. He recognized the blonde hair, remembering him using an exploding card on their first day arriving; it was quite the unique display of power. Now they stood staring at each other, and Argus realized just what this meeting meant, and that he had just greeted him and that he had better respond. @Sensei Fox

"Um, good afternoon." Argus thought for a second, "Uh, thank you for the compliment, It was more luck than anything I think." He gave a slightly pitying look back to the grimm, before he shook himself and turned back to the blonde. "I suppose with no one with you means we are the first person each other found?" Argus took a few steps forward while cradling Silfr Geisa in his left arm while extending his right. "In that case, no partners should be strangers; my given name is Argus Volund of the frontier, a pleasure to meet you sirrah." Argus offered what he hoped was a somewhat disarming smile, but he didn't really know with the blonde man. He could only hope that any type of partnership they would have could at least be civil.

? Summary: Took down one Beowolf and two left with one wounded. ?

Following where his finger pointed towards, she tried to spot anything red or some shadows moving until she heard behind her rustling and Jack's voice rising louder as she turned to see he was attacked from the side as she jumped back onto a branch away from them. Three of them started to circle around him as he explained that he recalled seeing seven of them though he warned her to be cautious just in case. Jack surely got himself into some sticky situation but it seemed he had a plan going on throwing pebbles at them as distraction from revealing her own presence as it seemed they were more concentrated on Jack.

"
Better act fast." Placing a hand on her headphones, the music soon blasted out as she lunged forward before any of them could react. Everything seemed to happen at a blur with two yo-yos with blades shot out of her sleeves and went after one of the Beowolves as it wrapped around its neck and legs, slicing them off with a tug of the wires giving it a swish death before it could do a thing. One of them finally got the memo and went for her with a loud snarl, sharp claws ready to bring her down but she had already seen it and made a backflip to dodge the attack,"Nyah, nyah! Can't catch me!" She taunted sticking out her tongue before she soon realized she was under the wolf's stomach, the smell overwhelming her nostrils,"Yuck! Take a bath for once!" She said dodging another blow once it was on its hind legs giving Iria an opening with one of her yo-yos curl around a leg and ripped it off making the wolf lose balance,"Take the shot Jack!" She said if Jack was finish with the other remaining wolf as she left this one for him to get some revenge on them for attacking him when he was off guard.

"-UUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK!?!?!" Ron had been holding that for a long time, and now that he was finished he could take several gasping breaths. Once he finished, he pulled one arm out of the tree he was so graciously lodged halfway into. He used it to pull himself out, the look of agitation having been the first true expression of anything other than nonchalance he'd shown since that day in the Alley.

The thought of the Alley brought him back to the source of his agitation, those damn Alley gang members. How in the sweet hell did they get into Beacon?!? Or better yet, why?!? Just the thought of that group getting their filthy, annoying hands on Ron's new school just fed his growing agitation. He needed to find those two, he needed to find them and beat every shred of information out of them until he was at peace again.

Steadying on his feet, Ron glanced to the nearest tree before unsheathing All-In-One. Two swings later and he was holding onto a nice piece of wood, slipping it into his Vest pocket. He'd need to smelt down one of his spares for metal later, he didn't have as much time as he'd hoped.

Ron took off in a sprint, running like the wind as he glanced everywhere for a tinge of blonde hair or purple. He needed information, he needed some kind of answer. The questions were just eating away at his already miniscule patience.

He leaped over rocks and dodged trees, even ran past a roving pack of Beowolves. Didn't even slow down, Ron raced a bit more through the forest before hopping out of some shrubbery.

The first thing he noticed was the large Faunus (@BlackJack) that, surprisingly, dwarfed him by several precious inches. The second thing he noticed was the large tree branch said Faunus was carrying. The third thing was his trajectory.

He slammed face-first into the Faunus's branch, the momentum sending his legs forward. Ron was splayed on his back, rubbing his painfully bruised forehead.

The Large Mechanist groaned, but at least his pain distracted him from his annoyance.

Hēi laughed internally at the smile his new partner gave him. Although, he did feel a connection with this guy. They were both outsiders in their own way. He was a street rat and this other guy was from the frontier. At least being from the frontier was something you could proudly tell someone. Hēi smiled back all the same and give an informal two finger salute from his brow. "Good to meet you, I'm Hēi Murakami." His smile faded back down to a smirk as he walked forward a few steps. "Got any idea where the artifacts are?" He nudged the defeated Grimm slightly with his shoe. This one was larger than the one he had faced earlier. He started wondering about how big these things could really get, and the idea of even larger species of Grimm. The idea of something much larger than what he had already faced was daunting to say the least. He would have to change strategies on taking one down. Although, having a team to help would make everything much better. His partner seemed to be competent enough, so half the team was guaranteed to be a success.

Grizz looked towards the horizon wondering where he would go, would he wander off into the sunset and leave the whole Hunter life behind, maybe start a life with his stick buddy and live off the land. Yeah he totally hit his head too hard. But when he was standing still he heard a noise. He turned to see a guy smashing his face into his stick. The stick shattered and the guy smashed into the ground. Grizz fell to his knees and grabbed the broken limb parts and looked to the sky "Why has thou smited me" he says then yells NOOOO in slow mo to give it some Drama. Then he turned to the guy who smashed his face into his friend and wiggled his way closer to him "So how does that make you feel" he says in a therapists voice as he got up looking down at the guy and examining him "Seeing how your face did a number on my best friend you clearly can be used as a partner." he says thinking about a song that really worked in this situation.

Grizz offered the guy his hand, however it was odd because his hand seemed to emit a low light like he was heating up or something. It had been a while since he had been up which meant his semblance was kicking in which of course was never good, this could not end well. You see he was dumb and chill normally however when he had not slept in a while he turned into quite the monster. Pretty f'ing badans as Grizz would call it however it was scary and made him reckless. But at least it purged the stupid for a little bit "
So...how is life for you today"

Ron took his own hand from his face for a moment to look up at who he'd just gotten himself stuck with for the next several years. Size and demeanor, probably a large mammal type Faunus. Whatever, it could've been far worse with the angle he'd come in at. There was some mention about Ron's face doing a number on the Faunus's friend, making him cringe internally at that specific choice of wording.

He took the Faunus's hand, letting him help him back to his feet "Well, this is only the second piece of wood I'd broken through today. I guess that's some sort of comfort. But I just recently found out that two guys who tried to kill me several days ago are currently not only going to the same academy as me, but are palling around with another group of people that seem to inherently hate my guts."

Ron fumed in silence before brushing some remaining leaves off himself "So to answer your question, my day is just fannnntastic. Life not so much, but today? Probably one for the record books."

Ron sighed before looking back towards the broken branch his new partner had been carrying "Looks like we're going to be gracing each other with our presences for a while. I'm Ron Saffeton, good to meet you and all that wonderful introductory business."

Jack kept his positioning watching them before suddenly a flurry of some sort of cable, or string, and a wolf head went flying. For sure she's gonna be reliable, but no time to be up and aw about it, there's some monster slaying to do!

With a shift of his head he dashed over to the Grim, blade held onto his shoulder. The wolf in particular quickly took notice from his charge and riled with a snarl to jump over at him with jaws agape, with a motion Jack slammed his sword downwards and off to the right to halt its progression for just a moment, to fake a blind spot. The Beowolf heartily went up to jump at him to try to take advantage of this seeming easy kill, arms outstretched and fangs showing. But with a twist of the blade the entire blade shifted down suddenly onto the side of the guard and retracted inwards into the guard, condensing it down into a small tighter form. Pulling the trigger fired out the cannon, a very short blast from it created a sudden force to knock the swing into reverse, right back at the Beowolf!

The back end of Knildred which is now a hammer would very quickly meet underneath the stomach of the creature, jabbing the end of it up into it and throwing it up with the force behind it. Jack letting the swing come all the way around moved over turning himself around, letting off a smile as he just waited for it to come back down, prepping for the swing, the eye on the target, its coming in, and he swings and contact! Another blast and off it went, flying down the valley with a hole right through its torso. God this cannon is fun to mess with.

With that out of the way he turned over to catch Iria's voice. "On it!' he exclaimed out changing the hammer back into a sword and revving up the dust cannon, glowing brightly before firing right out with a loud wave of sound, beam punching right against that unfortunate grim pushing it a bit before just cleaving it right through, leaving a rather large hole through it. "Heheh, thanks for the opening Airiana!" he said giving a thumbs up. "And nice job." giving a nod with that grin of his.

Shortly afterwards he began scanning around the terrain, eye looking for more wolves, or other forms of Grim. "Alright, you see anything? We should probbably keep moving before the rest surround us completely, and we have to fight them all at once, it would just waste time, and might attract more grim. Better we keep them divided to follow us, can work towards finding the relics at the same time as well, but what do you think?"

Pit would duck, swinging the end of her weapon to point it at the Grimm behind Frost, letting out a concentrated blast of red dust to blow the creature away. This wasn't good, at this rate, the other students would finish before them, no doubt about it. She wondered if the other students were having the same troubles with the Grimm, or if one of them had found an artifact yet.

Tch...

That Professor Ozpin, who seemed to not care as he launched them one at a time. Although she could have a disdain for the man, something about him was attractive. Attracted to a teacher? Wouldn't be the first time, but she wouldn't screw it up like before. She liked how he was always calm, inquisitive, shady, it made him more interesting then all those out-going people.

But that Glynda Goodwitch, what was her problem? What did Pit do wrong to receive her glares every day she's been here? If she got in her way, Pit wouldn't hesitate to spread rumors about the teacher. Yeah, that always worked.

Maybe something including Professor Port, yeah...

Not so long after saffron's landing... Whilst walking towards.... Who knows where a shadow suddenly shot across her field of vision, she quickly stopped as the shadow rushed once again. She drew hargadance with a small spin on the staff she took defensive stance only a few moments later a Beowolf lunged at her from the shadows. Saffron jumped to the side, using her staff to smack it on the side of its head at it recovered from its failed attack. The grim shook it off, the attack seemingly only made it more out for saff's blood. She backed up towards a tree as the beast drew closer saffron jumped kick used a pulse to propel herself off of the tree quickly landing behind the beowolf, and hitting it with a small combo before backing off before it had a chance to retort. The grim turned around seemingly more dazed then the last hit, she circled it until she was near the tree once again. She then pulsed upwards then using an overhanging branch shot downwards in from of the beast... Making a small shockwave that lifted grim up for a small time. Saffron used this time to get as many hits on it....she swung her staff and quickly twirled it to unleash a rapid series of hits all ending with a kick that sends it shooting off in that direction... She bolted towards it...chasing it...seemingly in a fit of rage...keeping it going until it hit a tree next to two other students.... Saffron hitting the tree soon after with her staff and momentum....Nearly impaling it into the now limp bodied grim "take THAT you son of a-".. She stopped herself as she noticed the two others... Standing over a dead beast of their own...." Oh... Uhhh...sup guys " she said as she gives a smile and tosses up her pointer and middle finger

Spinning around in a circle his swords flew into action cleaving the last of the enemies into pieces. He knew they lost alot of time so he had to make a decision before more showed up. "Forgive me but this is to get us to our goal." Sheathing his swords he grabbed the girl up into his arms as if they were getting married and produced two green chains on his legs and arms. Jumping, he kicked off of the nearest tree and went gliding into the air. He kept his eyes to the sky, below he could hear what sounded like a Ursa Major breaking the trees as it meandored closer. By that time they were sailing across the sky, he occasionally kicked off another tree to keep up his momentum. In the distance he could see the shrine, and at the same time he could sense something else. What was it?

"Im sorry if that was too abrupt..." he said kicking off another tree, "by the way, what is your name? Everyone just calls me Frost or Keppel." He heard something in the distance, was that a nevermore? Looking around he saw nothing, but he couldn't be to careful.

Blushing as she was swept up, she looked amused as she closed her eyes, a smile on her face as she felt the air woosh past them. That was a nice breeze, it really was. Pit opened her eyes again, having a difficult time as she blinked away some hair in her eyes. Looking up at Frost, she thought on it, before hearing him speak again. "I'm sorry if that was too abrupt..", the boy would exclaim apologetically as he kicked off another tree. "By the way, what is your name? Everyone just calls me Frost or Keppel."

She heard something after the boy finished speaking, but would respond anyway. "I'm the majestic and wonderful Pit, who's now grateful you came along", Pit would reply with a smile, looking around at the sky for the source of the sound. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Frostie~"

The guy was nice, and she could probably get a lot out of him. They were supposed to be partners for the next four years, right? He seemed pretty chill, which is exactly the kind of person Pit would like to mess with. Perfect for the next four years. Although, he could always help out, they were partners after all. But, what was the fun in not letting every one suffer her wrath? That was the true question.

@Shade Wraith

@SirFlabberghaspy

He blushed a bit at being called Frostie and looked at her for a bit and then regained focus to kick off another tree and landed just outside the clearing to the shrine. Once more he had a strange sense that something wasn't right but he couldn't put his hand on just yet. Landing gently to the ground he looked at Pit for awhile, "Glad I could help." He thought of her as sweet so far, though he wasnt accustomed to dealing with humans yet so he was kind of sketchy on those type of details.

Realizing he was still holding her he set her down and leaned his arm against the tree, "I dont know what it is Pit, but... do you feel like there is something here?" He asked. He didnt expect her to but being a Faunus he could smell and 'sense' something triggering his fight or flight response. A grimm? No. Then why didnt he spot it right away. Maybe he was looking in the wrong area? He looked up, 'maybe I should look from the sky?' He wondered.

"I think I heard something, but I'm not so sure myself. Use those kitty ears of yours", Pit would suggest as she was set down, stretching after-wards. She didn't see why so many people hated the Faunus, it was stupid really. If anything, they were more interesting then humans over all. Hmph, Pit wished she had a tail to play with when she was bored, that would be the best... tails...

Pit looked around herself, feeling refreshed from the breeze that had caught her. She was ready to do something, but didn't know about her sudden partner. The girl put on a slightly serious look, a small smile on her face as she looked down in frustration. It was their initiation, and someone had already come to her rescue? She felt insulted, and weak, but didn't make most of it. She knew her power, she didn't need help...

But at least she wouldn't have to run around looking for a partner anymore, that was a plus. And besides, that partner seemed skilled and interesting, a good combo to last for four years. She sighed as she thought on it.

Just as she had stated he listened closer, screams, loud footfalls? What was it over there? He looked over at her and cracked his neck, "well lets get going Princess, we have to get that relic before anyone else shows up. If anything pops up I am sure we can handle it." He stated smirking a bit but just in case he encased both his legs and fists in red chains. A faint red aura encircled him a bit, "at least like this we can fight." He moved away from the tree and took a step forward. He looked back to make sure she was coming along.

He once again heard scream in the distance, "so i wasn't imagining it he mutterednnarrowing his eyes. He knew now that his thoughts were correct. There was something there he hadnt seen yet but no matter, he had to get that relic.

Pit nodded, tailing after Frost, her right hand tightening as he mumbled something, wondering if the faunus heard whatever that noise was. She wasn't so sure about that, some sort of Grimm, maybe? The girl didn't dwell on it too much as she followed her partner, interested in his weaponry. If anything came up, she was sure they could take it down, although it could still prove difficult if it was a matured Nevermore.

The girl put on a look of intensity as she readied to fight, not sure what they were going to engage, and whether or not they were going to fight whatever the creature was in the first place. However, she was certain that the relic was probably near whatever it was. They didn't have to kill whatever it was, necessarily, they just had to get a relic... Even that could prove difficult, though.

With a sigh, Pit stopped moving, thinking on it. It would be better to wait for another team to engage whatever it was first, and then take a relic when it was distracted, though she wasn't sure how the thing would pick its targets...

Hearing her stop he turned to look at her, "is everything alright?" He asked, his eyes watching her closely, "if me calling you princess offended you..." he began putting his hands up as if to say sorry. "I had to give you a nickname." He shrugged jokingly but even so he was more interested in what her thought were on their situation. "All jokes aside what do you think we should do? I am pretty level headed about tactics and all but even I can see that charging in without info can get us killed.

He pointed out a team that laid out on the grass far away, "i know they look like they are napping but I highly doubt that." From the smell I get from the air and they way my body is reacting I can tell this thing is big." He cracked his knuckles, "in this case I will hear what you think." He wondered what she would want to do. Charge in? Wait and see? Either way was fine with him. He would rather observe and fight after details.

"Uh...everyone calls me Grizzly or Grizz, I don't remember my real name but who cares. Names Grizz Brown there stick killer" Grizz says looking at his old friend while cleaning all the gross crap he covered himself in when trying to look epic in his launch. Grizz put his hand above his head and then did the thing where he was comparing heights with some really strained eyes. He soon stopped "Is it me or am I taller then like everyone at this school...I fell like all the girls are going to try to use me as like a jungle gym, like a really hairy, jerky smelling jungle gym." Grizz says looking into the forest wondering where the hell they were supposed to go, I mean they could interlock arms and skip off into the sunset like he planned to do with the stick but this Ron man killed his stick friend so his plan was down the drain. And now he was all out of ideas, plus they had made quite the amount of noise which would draw the Beowolves, not a fun time let Grizz just say.

Grizz smelt something when they were talking he looked at his weapon/Backpack and his stomach grumbled, his weapon smelt like food and he had none. UGH this sucked. Maybe he could eat a grimm or something, or eat a tree. Trees probably tasted fine right? "
We better find out where we are going, I think we are the last 2 people still near the launch pads. Meaning we are probably the two biggest idiots which I'm fine with being titled" Grizz says looking out of the forest towards where they had been launched, seeing how him and Ron were quite big they did not fling very far. I guess being fat had a lot of problems that came with it. But I mean at least they could soak up damage and stuff in there fat rolls....wait neither of them were that fat. They were just bulky...was it muscles or fat...this was a conflicting question.

RON

Ron thought about it for several moments before looking at the nearby trees with a sturdy frown, comparing it to what he could remember from their time on the cliff before those two-

And once again his thinking was off. After erasing that trail of thought from his memory as best as he could, he turned to Grizz "Well, the educated part of me says to head that way," he pointed in said direction, then grumbled and lowered his hand "But with how great my other plans have been going so far, How about we just wander around blindly and hope we don't get eaten?"

It was a plan, Forest doesn't go on forever. And even if they get lost, they could probably survive on leaves until having to resort to cannibalism. And at that point, he just needed to wait until his meal goes to sleep before using him as Emergency Food. A body that big will probably last him long enough to find some cliff he can throw himself off of, save the universe the effort of gracing him with a Behemoth he wouldn't be able to take down.

As Ron pondered the many infinite ways this could go horribly wrong, he was distracted by the faintest sound of an explosion in the distance. He paused after that, shaken from his thoughts as he realized what that meant... More emergency food.

"Or we could probably follow those sounds of battle and hope we find Teammates instead of their murderers." Ron suggested before walking towards the sounds.

"Let's wait for another team to engage it and observe, maybe we can just snatch the artifact when the things distracted and be done with it", Pit pondered aloud, leaning against her new partner Frostie as she thought. It would be easier for them, and that was all that mattered at the moment. With a sigh, she continued to press against Frostie in thought, before looking up to face him.

"Does that sound like a plan?", she'd ask. If this guy possessed any morals, Pit wouldn't mind going ahead to engage the monster, but otherwise she'd prefer to let the others handle it. There wasn't any real point in combat.

(Short post. Everyone should try to make their way to the artifacts now.)

Hēi waved to the girl that had come crashing through the forest with her own Beowolf. "Welcome to the party." He paced around for a moment longer with his hands in his pockets. Now they had 3 parts of a full team to work with and each of them could at least fight a Beowolf. That was a comforting fact. Finally, he stopped and picked a direction he figured would be good enough. "Let's go. I really don't wanna be stuck out here if it gets dark. Oh, and I'm Hēi." He nodded to the new girl before starting his walk.

? Summary: On a branch, Airiana plans to go ninja mode on this to find the artifacts and get away from the Grimm. ?

Backing off from the blow, Iria was astonished and lost for words at how epic that attack was. The way his weapon changed so quickly from a sword to a hammer and then a cannon made Iria's eyes sparkle ever more at how amazing his weapon was. She kept a mental note to ask him later if she could touch it once this was over. Turning towards him as he commented on her work, she smiled and hopped up and down with joy,"
We did it! That was so awesome!" She exclaimed letting out her excitement and running over to his side. If she could, she would have hugged him in a bear hug but their current situation wasn't a good time for that. For now they needed to get out of here and look for the relics as she nodded agreeing with his plan. Looking about, she couldn't see anymore but she could hear a few rustles meaning that they had attracted quite a few from their battle. Lowering her headphone's volume, she turned back at him with a smile,"I don't see any more but from the commotion we made, I think we may have already attracted a few more than just Beowolves so we should make a dash for it and find those artifacts before those Grimm find us." She said jumping onto a branch from above,"I think it'll be safer if we stay off the ground for a while until then!"

" well the name is saffron, nice to meet you hei....annnnd....big... Hammer bro" she stammered as she her first good look at the student with the large hammer. She tried to keep her eyes on both so she could catch what ether of them might or might not say as she started to walk along, lagging a little bit behind hei.
