Ryker stopped in his tracks as Andrew entered the Mess Hall. The boy's brow furrowed instantly. This guy was back already. Andrew was his name. He seemed too calm all the time. Almost as if a sly smile was permanently glued to his face. Andrew looked like he was waiting for something, but what? Then Ryker saw them. Twelve guards fully decked out in all black body armor. Some had knives. Some had stun rods. Stun rods... A large grin grew on Ryker's face. Perfect.

"Welcome to your First Test, a rather simple one, no?" The slimy administrator then nodded to the twelve men that stood on either side of the room, so that the heap of food was clearly visible. "You'll have to earn your food tonight."

Ryker turned now and began to slowly pace back in forth. The adrenaline burning through his veins, he could feel a small bit of static building. He must be low on electricity. He wondered how. Wasn't he just on an elevator? He decided to ignore the thought for now. It wouldn't matter once he got his hands on one of those cattle prods anyway. Boy were these guards in for a nasty surprise.

Ryker could hear the two that stood behind him, talking to each other. He debated coming up with a strategy with them. For a small moment. He ignored this idea and looked back to the guards. He began staring down the one he was going to target and returned pacing. The guy was kind of big. A little bit more buff than average. He might be slow. However, he could also be very fast. There was no way of knowing this man's level of athleticism. Ryker attempted to pump himself up in his head. If he rushed in, he could possibly push the guard out and away from the group.

An idea clicked in his head. Maybe the guard was a cocky one? After all, Ryker was just a kid right? The grin remained before Ryker spoke. "You!" He pointed out at the guard he wanted. Ryker continued, "Why are you even here? You're looking pretty frail over there. I'm sure you couldn't even beat a kid like me on your own without your babysitter's help." Ryker emphasized 'babysitter' by referring to the guards around him. The guard buffed up and let out a hearty chuckle, nudging the guard on his left. The targeted guard looked back at Ryker, tears of laughter in his eyes, "O-O-Oh...Oh really?"

The man removed the stun baton from his belt and extended it in a quick flicking motion. The electricity began flowing fully up and down the metal rod. Ryker's eyes widened as he watched the current. His power hungered for it. He couldn't hold back anymore. The grin flashed from Ryker's face in a second. The older teen was then barreling towards the guard in a dead sprint.

Emmie's face twisted with worry as she stepped into the Mess Hall. Sure, the place was gorgeous and royally decorated, but she doubted the huge men wielding weapons were their waiters. She disregarded Ravena's words, turning as Andrew began to speak.

"Welcome to your First Test, a rather simple one, no?" He nodded to the twelve men that stood on either side of the room, so that the heap of food was clearly visible. "You'll have to earn your food tonight," and with a snap of his fingers the men drew blades, machetes, and stun rods

Ariana was led into an office, a secretary room or something probably. There her escort left her, shutting the door behind him. Ariana turned to face a desk, awaiting some form of instructions. (Not really sure how this works.. >.<)

Nothing. Not a single crack in the walls, no directions, no signs. Nothing. Only the floor numbers were chalked in a slanted font on the floor before the elevator. Assuming the reception would be on the ground level, David exited there. He was glad the eldest boy had taken the other elevator, he didn't like many people as it was and certainly didn't trust grumpy teenage buffs who made things explode.

He sighed in relief when his guess turned out right, There was a reception, and there was a girl his age, with flowing blonde hair standing at it. She appeared lost. He contemplated turning around and sneaking away, but decided against it, the only way to find anything in this place was to ask, it seemed.

His footsteps echoed down the broad hall and his sole squealed on the floor as he came to a halt next to the girl. He shot a look at her, her skin was pale and frail like an eggshell, but there was a vividness in her eyes that made him avert his gaze.

"What are you two doing here?"

High-heels click-clacked on the floor and a small, wrinkled woman, well into her fifties judging by her wrinkled face, gave them a stern look from over her glasses.

"Well?" she demanded as she put down the coffee she'd been fetching and took her place behind the reception desk.

"I-," David opened and closed his mouth a few times, "do you know where the mess hall is miss?"

"It's just down the hall," she replied, pointing in the opposite direction of the elevator. "Well, look lively! You really don't want to keep your superiors waiting."

"Yes miss," David slurred.

"That is Madame Fehltkraut to you," she said sternly. "Now hurry up you two."

Ariana glanced over at the boy, quickly casting her eyes downward at her feet as if in a silent message she didn't want to talk to anyone, even someone her own age. She slightly flinched at the woman that popped out of no-where and was the first of out the two to go in the direction pointed to. She made no motion to speak or slow down for David to easily catch up. When she entered the mess hall however, her eyes widened and she gazed around. A fight... with armed people. Crap. "W-Wha'?" She whimpered slightly, rigid in the doorway. Was she supposed to join this?

Ravena watched as the rude guy who didn't hold the elevator from before actually taunted the guards before them. Does he have a death wish? He better be extremely confident about his powers if he's just going to go charging in like that, she thought as she pursed her lips together for a moment. I don't want him to face those guys alone. No matter how strong he may be, every power has it's quirks, she pressed her thumb to her bottom lip as she thought about what to do. Unlike him, she wasn't one to go charging into the scene without a game plan. He can perform as a distraction or diversion, Ravena began contemplating. While he's doing that, Ryan can help out with his wind abilities. Hopefully he doesn't knock that other guy off his feet, but even if he does, it'll catch them off guard. While that's happening, I can innocently approach one of them and make eye contact. All I need is a second.. Then I can get one of them on our side, or maybe two. I think I can risk two, she concluded her brief plan.

With this in mind, she turned to Ryan.
"Unleash your hell-wind," Ravena playfully winked before heading into the scene like the boy from before did. She didn't want the new kids entering the scene to get hurt, so she decided to perform as a diversion, as well. As he distracted some of the guards, Ravena whistled to get a couple other's attention. "Over here, boys~!" She called out in an almost inviting--and perhaps even flirtatious--tone. One of them looked over to see where the feminine voice was coming from, and with that, Ravena made eye contact. You want to protect us, she pushed into his mind and and heart. Her eyes began to dilate as she made the connection. You want to protect us or die trying, she continued to push. Soon, the man wasn't pointing his machete at her anymore. Instead, it was at the guard beside him. "What's wrong with you, man?" He spoke in a confused manner. That was when he turned to look at Ravena. "You little--" he began charging for her, but before he could reach her, he received a blade to the side.

Success, she thought with a smile as the men squabbled, her pawn eventually winning. However, she could feel a dizzy spell coming on. Dammit, she cursed in her thoughts, trying her best not to stagger backwards. I guess suspenseful situations are a bit different from casual ones, she realized, but she tried her best to maintain her composure. "I'm not going down without a fight," she stated as she scanned the area around her. Her vision was occasionally blurring due to the faint feeling coming over her, but she suppressed it to the best of her abilities. It was when her vision completely went out that a guard came from behind her and pushed her over, and she hit the floor hard. Before he could hit her with the rod he was carrying, though, she rolled over and dodged the blow. Just then, he glared at her angrily. One more push, she thought, and her eyes once again dilated. You want to protect us, she pushed to the best of her ability. She could feel the blood beginning to swell in her nose, but even so, she continued. You want to protect us or die trying.

Again, her power worked, but now she was almost too weak to get up. Luckily enough, the two guards she managed to win over were protecting her from the two crowding around her. I hope those kids are alright, she thought as she gazed over at them, wiping away at the blood dripping slowly from her nose. Crap, this is bad, she thought as she felt frustration well up within her.

It's okay, Ravena. You're not alone in this. Just let the others do their part, as well.

((I hope I didn't do too much. Being that there are 12 guards now, I figured her controlling two and being on the verge of fainting wasn't too over-powered. I'll let you guys come and contribute now~?))

Ryan watches Ravena charges and quickly does what he can. Concentrating, the wind quickly has a large current form in it, wind rustling around the sides of the room, blowing people around. The man with the knife falls over and cries out in pain. Ryan grins, this is going well. Suddenly two of the guards approach him, and he switches to blades of wind, cutting them and making them pause, blowing them back every now and again.

*Thump*

Ryan's vision goes slightly blurry, like the last time before refocusing on the guards. Ryan starts shaking, wind becoming more and more violent, surrounding the two guards he focused on already, backing them into each other in a tornado-like cell. The wind closes in, cutting their arms as they try to escape. Ryan's eyes are wide and his body is shaking. He can't stop it, if he can't stop it those guards could die. He didn't want to kill anyone.

Meanwhile, the rest of the room is blowing wind around quite violently, guards are being cut and slashed, but most of the injuries aren't very damaging and just very painful, the big problem is the two guards who have been surrounded.

*Thump*

The wind cell gets closer and closer to the two guards, pressing them together until one of them trips and falls, he's mostly fine, but the tip of his left foot is caught in the cell, and is quickly cut, not off, but it's a deep and bad wound. He won't walk if he doesn't get medical attention. Ryan backs into a wall, hands on his head, shaking. "I-It wasn't supposed to go like that!" He cries out, the wind cell disperses and the other guard scrambles from the room, leaving his comrade clutching his foot in pain."No-no-no-no-no..." Ryan slumps against the wall, trying to come to terms with what he just did.

Every passing second he grew more convinced that he'd been given a delirium. Even the one dream he'd had, in which the world was flipped inside out, had more sense than all this. The police, Tye and his organization, none of it made any sense.

The girl stormed past him and David furrowed his brows at her back, a simple thank you would've sufficed. Disgruntled, he chased after her and skidded to a halt beside her. Why had she stopped? The mess hall did it's name justice. It was a complete and utter mess and David wrecked his brain to make any sense of the theatrics before him. Guards, armoured guards, were standing between the rest of the group and a large table full of food.

For a little while, nothing happened. It was a standoff, and he hadn't a clue what he was supposed to do. He didn't need his power to understand that the gruff boy, who'd shown himself to have an appetite for death and destruction by blowing things up, charged head-first into the array of guards. He was soon followed by a second boy.

In a flash, it dawned on him. The others had powers too! But the fleeting moment of happiness at realizing this was crushed when he saw how the second boy used his powers to grind one of the guards apart. His back slammed into the closed door behind him and he sagged down against it. He couldn't even bring himself to closing his eyes, he simply watched the sick and twisted game unfold before his eyes, he thought he would never again be able to lift a finger if this mad, mad nightmare didn't end soon.

Emmie had stared, shaking, as the fight unfolded. Everyone's powers were amazing, and all she could do was produce pretty pictures. She tried, regardless, as two of the guards swung their blades inches from her face. In that split second, she projected what was behind her in front of her, so that it appeared like she wasn't there. She slowly backed up while the guards fumbled in their confusion, and then Emmie attacked.

She kicked out her now invisible knee so that it connected with one of the guard's groins. He coiled in pain, and swung his knife wildly, his eyes watering. In her split second triumph, her illusion faltered, and the other guard took this moment to slash at her arm.

Then, spiders.

Millions of hairy spiders, large and small, crawled down the walls and along the marble floor. They climbed along the nearest tables, hissing and clicking their way to the target. They didn't have the ability to actually hurt the guards, but they didn't know that as they grunted and swatted at the spiders climbing their arms and legs.

"What the fuck!" Said the man that had stabbed her, dropping the blade, but he clearly wasn't dumb enough to let her get it.

As Emmie lunged for the fallen knife, so did the guard to protect it. He was quicker than her, but this nimbleness only lasted momentarily as the spiders grew in size and ugliness, along with the migraine that was pounding in Emmie's head.

Andrew watched intently beside the buffet table as the teens endured the battle, frowning at the blood that would take some time to clean. He took note of the way the use of their powers affected them, promised to make sure he eliminate this weakness.

"Those sorry bastards," Andrew chuckled.

Ariana was rigid in the doorway, not even looking David's way as she stared at the scene before her. So these people seemed to have powers, and were using them to fight. Ariana didn't think she could use her own to help. Besides, she couldn't just stand there while trying to slash the guards in half with a floating knife...Or could she? Ariana bit her lip nervously, what was she going to do?

Ryker rushed at the guard. His footing caught the floor firmly and he was able to keep balance the entire distance. The guard was taken aback by the kid's sudden bum rush, but it wasn't like he hadn't been trained for this. Charles Whitmore, the privately contracted ANCHR guard steadied himself. He leaned back and threw his full weight into swinging his electric baton. The voltage had been amped up to dangerous levels. In an odd way, one could possibly say this was karma for the man attempting to be inhumane.

A very ironic argument considering Rykers...abilities. Ryker was definitely not planning to be humane.

Ryker ducked under the brute's swing, tendrils of blue-white electricity rolled across his back. Ryker could feel the tingling sensation prickle over him, through the sleeveless hoodie. He was gaining some energy. He could feel a slight build up of electricity and a small smile returned to his face. After the guard's initial miss, the man almost stumbled, but didn't. Charles caught himself and recovered, swinging the rod straight down in an attempt to strike Ryker down. The attack was a success. In some aspects. The rod did indeed connect, but the overwhelming surge of power that Ryker felt erupt from the metal baton helped him ignore the pain from the physical impact.

Ryker went straight to the the ground, flat against his stomach with a responding clatter. The electricity he had absorbed from the blow was rushing over his body now. The amount looked to have multiplied tenfold. A smile that no one could see was steady growing across his face, until he couldn't hold back his joy any longer. A hysterical, or maniacal even, laugh erupted from the boy's mouth as he stood up. Bolts of light energy pulsated and jumped about his body. An almost evil visage now remained on his face. He spoke to the guard, "I warned you...you won't be able to fight me alone..." The man's face was one of horror as he began to see the boy's power.

Bolts of lightning crackled and shot off from Ryker's body, in random directions. Now, having been charged with electricity, Ryker figured it was time to kill this first guard and move on. Lightning continued to stream off of his aura, striking tables and chairs nearby. One was even large enough to have shot across the room. Only barely missing a guard who's foot had become too injured for him to run.

Ryker raised his arm, palm open in the face of the guard before him. The man's eyes widened, his fate finally dawning on him. Charles Whitmore, father of two and happily married, turned back, attempting to run to the rest of the confused guards. He only made it a step before Ryker's lightning was released, the charge was so powerful, it leapt straight through the man's body. Leaving a hallowed out, charred hole from it's path. Dissipating after crashing into a a table on the other side. The guards body crumbled and it twitched, the left over static keeping his nerves alive.

A couple of the other guards were watching what had unfolded between them, instead of trying to ward off the two that were mind controlled. Faces of horror changed to faces of determination as they nodded to each other before charging the boy. Their knives held at menacing angles. Ryker glanced to the floor and found the stun baton from his first opponent. He crouched and snatched it up quickly as the guards continued their battle charge. Ryker was unsure what would come of him purposefully exposing himself to so much concentrated electricity for an extended period of time. He shoved the thought from his mind quickly, however, and pressed the on button for it. The stainless steel rod lit up. Crackling with electric energy.

Ryker grasped it.

His eyes were forced open as he threw his head back. Pain. All Ryker could fell at that point was a sheer, indescribable amount of pain. Ryker was finally able to move his head back down to a straight forward angle and could see that the guards were almost upon him. The lightning aura around Ryker grew to proportions he has never seen before. Then, within the time of a microsecond. The aura shrank and rushed back to Ryker's body, he absorbed it and the energy was thusly redirected and fired from his body in practically every direction. Bolts of lighting as thick as tree branches blitzed out. Both guards were instantly incinerated. The additional bolts crashing off in untrackable directions.

In an instant, the pain was gone. Ryker's clothes were tattered. Starburst shaped scars visible from where the lightning had left his body. The boy fell to his knees, arms limp at his sides. Ryker believed he was blind. There was only blackness. Ryker then slipped into unconsciousness as he crumpled to the tile floor, face first.

Thalia had barely made it into the mess hall when the fighting started. Thankfully, she'd heard what they were supposed to do before making assumptions, and wished she could have asked a question. Shrugging, she slowly started walking towards the battle, trying to avoid most of the commotion.

There was wind everywhere, lightning flying, various other things going on, and spiders everywhere. Where the spiders came from, Thalia didn't know, but thankfully they were focused on the guards in the general vicinity of one girl.

Spinning around at the sound of crackling, she came face to face with a cattle-prod-like thing. Thalia could feel her hair singe slightly, and reeled back.

"Whoa there dude, you trying to kill me or what?" She muttered, looking for possible escape routes. The guard brought the cattle prod forward, trying to jab at her, and she ducked, rolling under his legs and running in a different direction. As much as Thalia wanted to singe him back, she didn't trust her powers enough right now.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the grumpy guy practically explode with lightning, incinerating two guards. "Whoa! Okay, not good, that's death." Thalia ducked under a guard and ran towards the one that hadn't been reduced to ash. "Oh my god..." She stared down at the lifeless body.

Doing a quick 360, she spotted the lightning grump passed out on the floor, and quickly grabbed his arms and dragged him out of the current chaos and into a corner, propping him against the wall.

Backing away slowly, looking around to make sure no one had noticed them, she snuck back into the fight and towards some of the younger kids.

Ryker's insane attacks forced David to move and duck underneath a table. Bolts of lightning shot through the air, scorching where ever they struck. Terrified, he remained low to the ground and watched with one eye as the guards got slaughtered, one after the other. A familiar nausea washed over him. They were all going to die, all twelve of them. It was an inescapable fact, one he wished he hadn't know. Blinded by the light with which Ryker obliterated his enemies, David never saw the guard coming.

Strong hands grabbed his feet and dragged him out of hiding. In a flash he was pulled upright, and no matter how hard he struggled to resist, a hairy arm, wrapped around his waist, kept him locked in place. Cold steel pressed against his throat forcing his chin upward.

"L- let me go, or the boy dies." The man's voice was trembling, his hands were cold with sweat. These children weren't children. They were monsters, ferocious vultures, killing without mercy and savoring every second of it. Eyes wide with fear he retreated to the center of the room, keeping the squirming boy in his arms firmly in place. He had no intention of killing the frightened child, he merely wanted to survive.

Andrew watched the battle with a frightening intensity. He took note of every move, every hesitation, every strike. He gazed at the lightning boy, who's name he still couldn't recall, and the illusion girl, who's illusions were so pitiful it ached. Andrew plucked a fresh grape from the buffet table, deciding he might as well enjoy himself while he waited.

They'd be stronger if they even pretended to work as a team, he thought, and chuckled. These kids in the mean time thought they were so skilled, so bad ass because they could cause some damage to these mundane men. Andrew had more up his sleeve though, and he was determined to make these kids more powerful, even if a few fell off along the way. In a week, these 12 men would be like flies to them, and in the end they would be able to face any amount of people.

Even each other.

Ravena could barely make out the chaos unfolding before her. First, there were spiders everywhere, and then there were lightning bolts shooting from all around. Luckily enough, she wasn't hit by one, though it did strike right next to her. The sparks from it hit Ravena on the arm, giving her a slight shock, though she was ultimately grateful for it. It awakened her slightly, making her drowsy feeling disappear for a little while. Her senses were beginning to return, but her nose was still bleeding slightly. Her head was beginning to pound, as well, probably because she was fighting the feeling to faint. This bites some serious ass, Ravena couldn't help but think as she tried her best to stand back up. As soon as she did so, a sudden realization hit her---what are the children doing? She looked around rapidly, her chocolate brown eyes searching desperately for the youngsters. She really didn't want them to get caught up in this battle, especially since it appeared people have already died. Children just aren't meant to see such horrid, terrible things.

It was then that she noticed a few children had reached the scene. She breathed a breath of relief when she saw that none of them were hurt, but that was one breath too soon. Before she knew it, one of the younger boys was grabbed from underneath the table he was hiding, and he was suddenly held hostage. This angered Ravena, but as the guard threatened his life, she knew she couldn't get too close to him.
Should I try pushing again? She wondered with her ruby red lips pursed together. Or.. Perhaps, I should try a pull? She continued to contemplate as she slowly approached the guard. Her two pawns were squabbling with two other guards, which just left the one holding the young boy hostage and two who seemed a little shaken up by the lightning bolts that killed their three comrades before them. Even the one holding the the young boy seemed frightened, which he was right to be. Ravena felt some protective instincts kicking in, so carefully, she approached the guard. His gaze was flickering between all of them, so all she had to do was wait for his to meet hers.

Soon, the guard's gaze did so, but it flickered away before Ravena could make the connection. With an irritated sigh, she took a large step forward, which caught the guard's attention.
"St-Stay back! I'll kill him! I swear I will!" Ravena heard him threaten, but his threats seemed hollow. In fact, they soon would be completely, for now their stares were locked on each other. Ravena felt a dizzy spell come over her as her eyes dilated, along with a couple drips of blood falling from her nose, but she still pressed on. "You're not going to hurt him," she said, not blinking as she stared at the man. "In fact, you don't even remember why you're here," she continued to speak, trying her best to pull his memories away. His body began to go limp as she went on. "You don't know why you're doing this," she pressed forward, "You don't even want to do this," she concluded, and with that, the guard fell to his knees, his eyes staring straight ahead. He looked like a doll, or perhaps a corpse, as he knelt there in an emotionless manner. "Why am I here?" he questioned himself helplessly.

With that, Ravena could feel her own body going limp.
I hope that kid is alright now.. Someone, tell him to move away.. she thought as she began to fall backwards. Awkwardly enough, one of her guards that had defeated the other they were fighting with caught her before she fell. He was made to believe he had to protect them, of course - which meant keeping them from harm. "To think.. You were going to kill me earlier.." Ravena thought, her tone coated with sarcasm and irony. With that, the guard set her down gently, and she did her best to sit up. "Move, boy," Ravena spoke, regarding the kid that was held hostage. "Get.. Away from here.." Her tone grew quieter and quieter as she leaned forward, perching up her head with one hand. Her nose was bleeding steadily now, so she had to constantly wipe it away. Her jeans and shirt had multiple bloodstains from her cleaning her hands on them now. This... Seriously bites... She thought bitterly. When I get my hands on that Andrew... Ugh.. He's going to get it... Her world was beginning to fade to black.

((Jumping in late so I'll try to summarize things as best as possible... sorry for the super long post.))

Rhythmic beeping and the murmur of far off people was all that could be heard in the dimly lit I.C.U. room. A man and a woman rested in two beds both unconscious and injured but alive. Senna knew she shouldn’t be there, she was supposed to be in her own room recovering but she had to at least see for her self that her parents were alive instead of relying on the words of some strange nurse. She chewed on her bottom lip as she sat in one of the beaten up chairs where countless of other worried families had sat before. Guilt twisted up in her stomach still unable to come to terms with the fact that she had put her parents in those beds, granted she didn’t mean to do it. Senna had no idea she was able to vibrate walls to the point of collapsing. She was lucky that both of them got away with their lives. Both had concisions and broken bones, her father had a rib puncture his lung and her mother most likely wouldn’t walk again if the notes about her spine were correct on the chart.

The nurse and doctors were baffled as to what could have cause their injuries and yet Senna escape with a few bumps and stitches. The police had interrogated her when she woke up in the hospital but she didn’t say much past her parents were arguing when the roof collapsed. She didn’t tell them it was her faults. She was the reason her parents were thrown like ragdolls into the walls and kitchen cabinets or that she cause the walls to and roof to collapse in on them. The neighbors had reported feeling tremors in their own homes and feared it was an earthquake, but thing still didn’t add up.

The door to the room open for possibly the tenth time that night, Senna didn’t bother looking up figuring it was the doctor or nurse to check on her parents. So she was startled when a tall blond woman in a suit entered her view.

“Senna Davi?”

Senna stared at the woman confused for a moment, “Yes…”

“My Name is Lenora Arch” she smiled slightly. “Please to meet you.” She extended her hand.

Senna just stared at it awkwardly not really used to so many strangers. “Are you here to investigate what happened as well?”

“Sort of” Mrs. Arch sat in one of the near by chairs in the room so she wasn’t towering over the teen. “I’m actually here to help you.”

“W-what do you mean?” Senna asked a bit anxious about the woman. She shifted in the chair nervously.

“No need to be anxious. I’m here on behalf of ANCHR , a program going on right now to help kids like you who have special… talents.” The woman explained.

Senna stared at her awkwardly once more not really sure if she should confirm or deny her abilities.

“I know it sounds weird, but there are many other kids just like you who have abilities they cannot fully control. Who have also cause accidents. We help you learn your abilities and in return you let us study your abilities and how they work.”

Senna was suspicious of this new development but also curious. If there was a way she could prevent another accident then it was at least worth looking into. At that moment it was better than the alternative which was her parents being angry or terrified of her possibly sending her to some prison or asylum anyway.

“Your family will be compensated for your time an-“

“I’ll go” Senna cut the woman off not really interested in anything else she would offer. If there was money, great. It could be used to help her parents recover and take care of themselves. If not, she doubted she would miss her parents and all of their arguing.

“You’re sure?” Mrs. Arch asked a bit suspicious of how easy things went.

Senna nodded looking over at her parents. “I’m sure.” She muttered

The hours following her decision were a whirlwind of activity. Senna was discharged from the hospital and some how had custody of her given over to the program. She didn’t understand how any of it was possible other than this ANCHR had some pretty strong pull. She was taken back to her house to retrieve some of her belongings. Senna spent an hour sitting in the care not really wanting to go back into the half collapsed house. After a lot of coxing and makings sure the house was structurally safe to enter senna went in and packed a bag of clothes and some belongings. Half of her suit case was filled with books. Senna looked back at the house as they drove off a feeling of guilt and dread twisting up her stomach. She had a feeling she most likely wouldn’t be returning to that house, or possibly see her parents again. The rest of the trip was a blue mostly because Senna slept through most of it, exhaustion catching up with her pretty hard.

By the time Senna was fully conscious she was already inside the strange facility being shown down corridors and rooms not really processing everything that was going on. She quickly found her self alone in a room that was a decent size but fairly plain. Senna honestly felt like the whole thing was still a dream but didn’t question anything. She set her bag on the foot of the bed and sat next to it not really sure if she should even unpack everything. She glanced around the room trying to sober up and come to grips with all of the changes. “So this is my new home I guess…” She muttered to her self

Ulga Lockley was a custodian at ANCHR, and there was nothing she hated more than cleaning a place as big as this. She pushed a cart with a grunt down the female side of the North wing, and jumped when she saw a girl in the room.

"They're in the mess 'all, I think," Ulga said, trying to mask her embarrassment after being frightened. "You might not want to go in now..." Ulga raised her eyebrows and headed to the next room, mop and broom wielded.

"Mess 'all?" She muttered watching the woman go down to the next room. "Not sure where that is..." she thought to her self before vaguely remembering someone mentioning a secretary right outside who would help her if she needed. She got up and took a deep breath to settle her nerves before leaving the room and cautiously wandering down the hall managing to navigate her way to the help desk. "Um... excuse me?"

The woman looked up and smiled. "Ah you must be Senna the new arrival. Everyone is in the mess hall if you want to catch up"

"Ok... and that is..." she trailed off looking at the different hall ways

"Down the hall to the left, follow the signs."

Senna nodded slightly, "Thank you." she muttered before following the directions. As she wandered of the Secretary let Andrew know to expect one more. Senna shuffled her way down the halls looking around and trying to familiarize her self. She heard some kind of commotion the closer she got to the mess hall thing quieted down when she reached the door but she could hear voices still. Senna stared at the door not sure if she should go in or not. "It'll just be more awkward if they open the door and I'm standing here..." she scolded herself. She could grabbed hold of the handle already able to feel it buzzing under her hand, her ability still very much active even after her outburst two days prior. Senna just gripped the door handle tighter steadying her nerves before pulling the door open and stepped inside.

Senna immediately froze on the spot when she saw what was inside the mess hall. Several other kids and teens around her age all gathered in some kind of war zone against some blade wielding guards. A few people littered the ground some bleeding some not, a few seemed chard up for some reason. There were hundreds of spiders crawling about. n the far end was some kind of buffet with a man beside it watching everything as if it were some show. She stood in the door way wide eyes like a deer caught in the headlights for a moment not sure what she was witnessing, but it wasn't normal, nor was it remotely close to what she expected. One of the girls suddenly passed out and collapse. That was enough for Sen, she was starving but not enough to go through that. She quickly stepped back out and slammed the door shut leaning against it figuring out where in this strange place was remotely safe.

The six monitors in front of him gave him a good view of the Mess Hall and the hallway leading up to it. The first test was never easy to watch. A bunch of American slumdog freaks battling it out against the latest batch of guards who had fallen for the unbelievable salary they'd never get. Kid with the lighting bolts was having a blast. Tye had to credit him for his fierceness but unless they could discipline him he was just another freak. The damn kid had a track-recorded of destroying stuff either purposefully or accidentally. A few monitors to his right showed the feed in the kid's room, it was quite tempting to tell the kid he'd destroyed a dummy camera, put in place to make them believe they couldn't be watched or heard if they stepped out of range.

Resting his boots on his desk, he watched as the mayhem increased. Spiders, flashes of lightning, gusts of winds, they better had strong stomachs if they thought they could even stow away one cracker after the havoc they had wreaked.

"Damn it kid," he muttered as his recruit was taken hostage. He really didn't want to lose his bet against Frank that his recruit would "go dark" the first. Frank had a prejudice against the young, "Lemme tell ya this Tye," he'd said at lunch three days ago, "that pretty face isn't gonna keep-im alive for long. I am puttin' my money on the big kid."

"Take that Frank," Tye told the monitor as David, his David, was saved by one of the girls. Tye just wished the kid wouldn't get a heart attack as even the mess of blurry pixels in front of him displayed the frantic heaving of David's chest.

David rushed over to the girl's side for his safety and hers. He had no idea why the strange girl had saved him, let alone how. It didn't matter. He dropped to his knees beside her, "are you alright?" he choked out. He couldn't bring himself to steady his voice and clear his eyes of the water that lingered in it, nor wipe the red off his cheeks or shut the floodgates of his nostrils. Sucking in a ragged breath he felt her wrist for a pulse, his hands were slippery with sweat and it took him ten seconds of agonizing uncertainty before he was certain she was still alive. "Help!" he cried. She had to be taken care of, nothing else mattered. Anger flared in the pit of his stomach, why was he even here still? He vowed to escape as soon as possible and go back home. "Please help her!" he called again, he hoped the girl would join him in his effort to get away. If there was a way out at all.

Thalia looked up from ducking under another guard's swing, hearing someone yell for help. Her eyes swivelled around the room, seeing a kid standing near a collapsed older girl.

Grunting as the guards fist connected with her gut, she swung out with one hand, smacking him in the face, and ran towards the kid.

Stopping in front of him, she looked at the collapsed girl in concern. "Is she okay? Oh god, nope, i can see that she's not. Help me get her over there." Thalia motioned with her head to an empty corner, grabbing one of the girl's arms and motioning for the kid to take the other.

David immediately obliged. Even though the girl wasn't fat or heavy, he barely managed to lift her up sufficiently. His legs had turned into spaghetti and he wobbled left and right, forehead gleaming with sweat. Dedicating his every muscle to carrying the girl to safety he didn't even look to see if any of the guards were still standing. "She isn't going to die, is she?" He shot a worried look up at the girl with freckles and cursed himself for not knowing any of their names. Struggling to carry her any further than to the far corner of the room he dropped the girl like a sack of potatoes and searched her features for any other signs of life. "Please wake up," he shook her. Nothing. He shook her again, and again, and again. His hands dug deep into her shoulders, his knuckles turned white-hot. "Wake up," he begged, "just wake up!"

Ariana stared over at David and after a moment of silent hesitation and a worried expression, she hurried over. "What happened?" She asked, voice a bit hoarse. Her eyes darted about as if worried some of the guards would leap and try to kill them all suddenly. When they began to move however, she following along closely, silent until recieving an answer. She felt awkward being around all the strangers... In the middle of a fight.

David shook his head vigorously, "I don't know," he replied, barely registering the young girl in his peripheral vision. Refusing to take his eye off the slumped girl before him his vision became like a dark tunnel from which there was no escaping. "Come on," he breathed, "come on, wake up." he yanked his head to the girl in the white dress, brows furrowed. "Can't you do something? Don't you have a power?" he snapped at her.

"Yes. I don't have magical healing powers, if that's what your hoping for." She reply, tone rather crisp as well. She crossed her arms then added, "I wouldn't be here if i didn't have a power anyway."
