Ryan sighs at the whole exchange.

"Looks like everyone's getting along just fine and dandy huh?" He jokes. Then sighs. "It's been a long day and we probably should take from the others and get some rest. I'll see you guys back here in the morning I suppose." He walks down towards the mess hall and stops at a bulletin board. He scans it. "Uniforms? Great..." He sees the post about roommates "Alrighty then...let's see who I have to room with." He scans down the list until he reaches his name. Then sighs. "OF course it's me. Of course it is." He sighs, standing there are the bulletin board, wondering what to do.

She walked past him, not realizing he had stopped nor caring, she felt around and finally pressed a button to the mess hall, she could care leas about anything he had to say but for everyones sake she cared about the food. Loo gingerly grasped onto a pole within the elevator not noticing the man wasn't with her,"no question, but I smell food, I want food" she mumbled to no one.

The woman had followed themand hadn't really paid attention to where they were walking and focusing on her clip board and drifted away from them at the beginning of the 'get the feel of things because you wont be seeing any of it' tour.

However once she had made her way back she noticed no Loo and Andrew was standing on his own, turned away from the closing elevator.

Elisa, observing how everyone were leaving, stood up and walked out, without making a sound. She didn't want to be noticed. Being noticed would mean having to talk to people, and still she was too shy to talk to anyone there. it was like her throat closed up whenever she was supposed to speak to anyone, thoug it wasn't that muchof an issue. It had never been an issue. Friends would be made eventually, when the time was right. Maybe tomorrow?

She stopped by the bulletin and looked at it. They had to share rooms with someone? and wear a uniform? This would be... Interesting. Maybe the uniform would actually fit her? It wasn't like her size was the most common one to find in clothes. Another boy walked over to the bulletin board, and Elisa turned over to him. "Excuse me, but would you mind helping me find the way? I might end up in the wrong area otherwise" She ssmiled shyly.

"Inia" Colt shook her head with a sigh. That girl was too stubborn at times. "See you around Ryan" The blonde nodded a goodbye to the guy before taking a scone only in his hand. "Fire, let's head to the rooms? Maybe they let us share room, seeing how we're twins and that might make us co-operate more?" More like make Inia cooperate more. She tended to go against anything anyone said. Even what he said. Then again, during the nights she usually needed to have him around, to make sure everything was alright, to avoid her hurting herself again when she fell from the roof.

"What?" she looked at him with a grin "You should expect that from me by now" Inia felt happy when he got some food, he needed to eat. "See yah Ryan" she waved after him before turning back to her brother "You mean make me cooperate more Colt and you know it" stripping back to what he was trying to say politely "But sure let's go"

Yannie updated Runaways with a new update entry:

Time lapse.

I didn't intend for this part if the RP to be so drawn out, and I myself am getting bored waiting for the right moment to move on. So:
Time lapse.

In this time lapse we'll skip to the 2nd Test, and your characters will all know about your room mates etc.

Before the start of the 2nd test will be a "Medical Assessment" , they'll be taken to the Research Wing

(Read update)

Emmie woke up to the sound of a piercing ring, something like a dog whistle. She sat up sluggishly in her bed, curls tangled and frizzy.

In the main intersection of the North Wing, a page was posted above the new line of computers.

"Medical Assessment: 11am sharp

Research Facility: East Wing"

Ryan wakes up exhausted, between taking awhile to show Elisa around the building her only barely understood himself, and then discovering that he had to bunk with the friendly man known as Ryker, it hasn't been an easy night...at all. He sits up in bed, yawning. Ryker could have been worse he supposed, at least he's still alive. And Fortunately neither of them snore so falling asleep wasn't difficult when he actually got the chance. There's a high pitched whistle too. "What a great way to wake up." He groans and gets up, getting into the uniform and leaving the room.

He sees the page and reads it, then sighs.

"Great...a medical assessment."

Loo was woken by the same tall annoyed looking lady, she tapped her into conciousness and glanced over her before speaking,"you have a medical examination today, you will also meet the other kids today, be nice and don't defy Dr. Andrews will."

Loo sat up in the bed then stood, she was alone in the room besides the lady who had been asighned to help her around and she still, no matter what, wasn't allowed to take off her blindfold. She ran her fingers through her hair and let it fall in natural light silver-white waves. She gingerly touched the womans face and chuckled,"oh its four eyes, lead me away then you heartless..."

The lady cut her off before she could sagy more by smacking her with the clip board then dragging her out by the arm, leafding her to the mwdical examination area where the others would soon be.

Thalia shot awake, the whistle ripping into her unconscious. Looking around the room and seeing only her roommate, Thalia sighed and flopped back down on her bed. "What the heck was that?" She said, seeing that her roommate was awake as well. "Goddess that was a terrible sound... I bet they'll be waking us up with it everyday now..." She muttered, flicking away a spark that had released itself from her body in shock. Noticing the clothes she'd worn to bed, she sighed at the sight of all the holes and burn marks. "Gonna have to find some fireproof pyjamas... I wonder if these jerks have made any scientific breakthroughs about that."

Colt groaned as he woke up, a body laying on him again. It was still quite early, but he couldn't stay asleep too long. Not there. Inia had already decided to not play after the rules, not sticking to her own rule? Oh well, nothing to do about. The little blonde could barely sleep without being up under the roof, and few would be able to handle her up there without an explanation. That, pluss she fell down sometimes, so her falling on him was bettr than her falling on the bed, waking up alone and scared. His sister, younger only by minutes, didn't really like to admit feelings like that, but he still knew how it was when they were children, and their parents faught, for her. She had been a suprise. Unexpected. Not one who they had expected for to come out, yet she had, causing drama. Inia always blamed herself for everything, so often trying to avoid putting him in more trouble. Though, they were twins. It was his job to protect her, to make sure she was good and safe and everything. Nothing was more important than that. Nothing, not even his own freedom.

Brushing over his sisters hair, he hoped that the girl he shared room with, Senna was it? was still asleep.

"Hey Fire, you willing to wake up soon?" He asked, before lifting her off him and onto the bed while he got out of it, taking on his uniform.

After having put on the uniform and taken a quick look out by all notices, he saw that they were to do some medical stuff, in the east wing. Poking his head back into the room, just as a loud whistle sounded for them to all wake up, he smiled gently to them both. "West wing at 11 am. Get ready so that we won't be late."

Elisa woke up with a shock, her face planted in the floor. "Ow..." She half-way whimpered when she climbed back up on her feet and quickly changed to the uniform, that still had a little bit too long arms and legs. She'd have to sew it up at some point. It wasn't way too long, it waas just a little bit too long. Like, the sleves were down in the palm of her hands instead of by the wrist, and the trousers were under her heel instead of by the ancle. Simple things to fix really.

Leaving the room, and checking the post about the west wing, she went right ahead and wandered there, coming after another girl had arrived.

Seena had fallen asleep before her room mate had even gotten back from the mess hall exhausted from the days excitement. Going to bed early meant waking up early since Senna rarely got more then 6 hours of sleep before her body woke up. It was irritating most times especially when she was still tired but had gotten used to it over the years. When she looked over in early mornings before her room made had woken up she was startled to see one of the girls floating above the bed. She figured she still had to be dreaming and just rolled over hoping to wake up. She remained in a half sleep coming out of it ever now and then waking up, especially when she'd heard a soft thud and the girl was no longer in the air.

Senna fully woke up when she head movement and her room made mention something about the west wing. She looked over noticing the girl was still there and shook her head. she hadn't been dreaming after all. Part of her wondered if this would be a nightly thing. "un... Morning..." she muttered softly trying not to come off completely rude.

the woman with the girl turned and smiled at Elisa,"ahh looks like someone else was on time, I actually have to go for a minute, would you mind keeping this one here?" she asked her, tapping her foot impatiently but her expression was calm and a smile plastered on her face, her glasses sliding down her nose before she pushed them up.

Loo glanced over, though her blindfold covered her eyes and she couldn't see her. She reached out but retracted her hand before she touched the other girl by the woman grasping her wrist,"let go." She growled sharply to the white coat.

The woman shoved her arm back to her side,"dont touch them. Nobody will touch you but me either." She snapped in a voice of authority before stalking away towards an intercom, pressing a button to Dr. Michaels chambers,"loo is here I will leave her with Elisa." She swiftly removed her finger from the button and scribbled something down on her clip board before walking away.

Loo gazed at Elisa without seeing her, and hugged her arms to her body, unintentionally pressing up her chest, her pale skin making it obvious of her desierable body form.

(As per your request @Yannie, I'll put up Dr. Milten's CS as soon as possible)

The next day came far too soon and with too much sunlight. Irritated by the sunlight he couldn’t even try to fall asleep again. Groggy and disgruntled, he stepped out of bed, headed for a quick shower and, whilst patting his hair with a towel, studied his uniform once more.

Not quite sure whether he was supposed to put it on or not he began to rummage through the cabinet. There were almost endless piles of the same clothes. Black underwear, white socks, shirts, hoodies, sporting trousers, just about all colored the same, light grey. To his surprise his name was stitched on both the shirt and the hoodie, as they’d been expecting him.

With nothing much else to choose from, he slipped into the allotted clothes and headed down for breakfast. After breakfast he entertained himself by pulling funny faces at the mirror and trying to think of creative ways to retaliate against Ryker.

At long last the wait was over and he headed two floors down for his medical assessment. There was a nameplate on the door that read “Dr. Milten” and he was about to knock when it flung open. “Hello there,” the balding, middle-aged man with thick round glasses said. “You must be David. Come on in, come on in!”

Stunned by the display of hospitality, David had to consciously move his feet into the man’s office. It was not quite like what he’d expected. There was much less space than all the other rooms he’d seen in the building, most of it was taken by advanced looking equipment. A young woman, somewhere in her twenties, with platinum blonde hair tied into a bun looked up from her clipboard and smiled.

It made him sick. It was the kind of smile that doctors deployed when they were trying to talk you into believing them, like when they said something wouldn’t hurt, or that it would be over quick.

“You look worried, something amiss?” Dr. Milten asked as he gestured for him to sit down at his desk.

David shook his head.

Dr. Milten examined the pale and worried looking child in front of him. “Well,” he clapped his hands, “there’s no need to worry about anything. We’re just going to ask you some questions and take some measurements, okay?”

The boy nodded.

“Excellent.”

Fifteen minutes passed before they’d gone through all the questions. More than once David had to stop and think for half a minute before he dared to answer, like when he’d been asked to describe his father.

“I don’t know,” he’d said, “he loves my mother, I guess, and stuff seems to work out okay, but I don’t see him much.”

“Would you’ve liked to see him more?”

“Yes,” David smiled. Then his face darkened, “but I guess that won’t happen now, right?”

The doctor had quickly moved on to the next question.

“Alright, that’s that. Now, we’re going to check a few things, okay?”

David was seated on the edge of a very strange, hard bed. A whole list of instructions followed. When the man approached him with a small hammer, David flinched, but it turned out it was only to test his knees. Every inch of his frame was scanned and measured, and he often worried what he would have to do next.

“Your heart’s fine, 77BPM. But that’s just the nerves, eh?”

David nodded and put his shirt back on. He didn’t know what the cold thing on his chest had done, nor did he know what 77BPM was, but the man had said it was fine, so he didn’t worry too much.

“I think we have everything now. You can rest assured David, you’re more than healthy enough to run through our program with a reasonable chance of success. Mila,” he turned towards the blonde haired assistant who’d been making notes, “please notify the DS that he can only do the category two training at max.”

“What’s category two training?“ David inquired.

The Doctor turned to face him and rested his hand on David’s knee. “The DS is the Drill Sergeant, he is responsible for all physical exercise. Now, if you were to do all his category one exercises it would stunt your growth. Sergeant Dallas has a habit of ignoring my advice, but I’ll make sure he won’t be too hard on you. You do want to grow taller, right?”

David nodded his head vigorously and began to worry about Sergeant Dallas and his exercises straightaway.

“Now please roll up your sleeve.”

He did as he was asked and, quite distracted as he was by his worries, never saw the needle coming.

“Ouch!”

As quickly as it had come, the pain faded, yet he felt weak and dizzy thanks to the acid green shot that had been injected into his veins.

“What was that for?” he asked, rubbing his arm.

The Doctor hesitated a little too long before he tried to reassure David. “Just a flu shot,” he said, then guided David out of his office and instructed him to find the Drill Sergeant outside.

“I have PE now?” David whined.

“Well David, there’s a first time for everything.”

Sennas stomach growled lightly unhappy with the fact that she hadn't eaten a proper meal. She sighed heavily and got up from the bed grabbing the strange uniform that she had found the night before. She shuffled to the bathroom to brushed her teeth and put some order into her hair. It was so weird waking up somewhere strange so sterile. Part of her missed her parents and was worried about how they were doing in the hospital. The doctors said they would make a full recovery however it didn't stop her from worrying. "Can't do anything about that now I suppose...' she muttered softly pulling her hair back into braid not really sure what to expect from the training today. She certainly wasn't looking forward to an obstacle coarse. Physical fitness was never her strong suit and she would sit out at P.E. most times. She hoped it wouldn't be too stressful but shook her head, "Who am I kidding, of coarse its going to be hard." She grumbled.

She picked up the uniform unsure about how it would fit, most likely snug which didn't put her at ease any. Regardless she pulled the strange synthetic suit on. It didn't look half bad on her and thankfully it wasn't skin tight. Her stomach growled again for her to get some food this time she listened to it and left the bathroom making her way down to the mess hall for breakfast. This time there was no fighting or blood. which was a huge relief.

Inia woke with a start, she never could wake normally it seemed, and looked around, recognising her brother's room just as another girl left him, liably the roomie. Last night it had been rather late when she'd gotten into her brother's room after he'd convinced her to at least try sleeping like a normal person but she just couldn't manage it. And so, Inia had crept into his room before sleeping above him on the ceiling like she always had but it seemed she'd hit him again this morning as she woke up on his bed, oops.

Swinging off the bed, Inia's feet hit the ground, feeling weird as she adjusted to the new gravity compared to where she'd slept. Grumbling, she stood up, slightly unsteady as her body decided to tell her that she'd reached zero battery on the ceiling and it hadn't fully recovered. Not her fault she didn't have the usual bunk bed system here. However before she could think any further about it, Inia dashed to the bathroom impulsively and hurled down the toilet.

As Inia rushed to the bathroom, Colt sat back down on his bed, just catching the roomie as she was heading out of the room. "Morning Senna, sorry my sister suddenly appeared here" Before he could say anything else, the girl had already gone, most likely to catch breakfast and go to the bathroom. Girls and their bathroom routines.

He truly never would understand their rutines.

"INIA! Get ready! we're going to go to the medical things, and no, I won't let them keep you there on your own. I'll stick with you, unless they make you get naked. Deal?" both knew that even if his sister had to stay in only her underwear, he would have stayed beside her. His duty as a brother. When his sister finished with all of her things, and was dressed properly, he placed an arm around her shoulders to protect her almost, and lead her to the wing where the medical tests would happen. Some hd already gathred there.

______________

Elisa stared wide-eyed at the girl who had reached out, almost as if to touch her. Why had the other woman stopped her? Was there a bigger issue around that girl, than most others? "Sure, that shouldn't be a problem" Her voice was gentle and careful as she spoke to the older woman, and watched as she left.

"Uhm..." How did you speak to someone with a blindfold over their eyes? She couldn't exactly mention how it looked around there. "Hi. I'm Elisa" The brunette spoke to her, and scared of making much out of herself, Elisa hid her hands behind her back. The dark brown hair had been pulled up in a ponytail, with the waves falling down from it. "did you arrive late too? I didn't see you during the dinner last night, but then again, you could have left before I arrived" She tried to make a conversation, hoping she wasn't failing.

Wiping her mouth and splashing some water on her face, she darted back into her room directly across the hall and got changed before rejoining her brother. "Sorry, last of whatever crap they drugged me with" Inia apologised. "And please please please tell me you did not mention medical stuff Colt.... I swear to flippin hell......." She wouldn't. No, just no. She was not dealing with medical stuff, she'd avoided it for long enough she could keep doing so now, especially after what they did to her yesterday, it wasn't happening.

The girl stood there, oddly out of place, she had on the required uniform the name 'LOO' stitched into the pocket on the left side of her chest. "They call me Loo," she mumbled softly, her head falling to where herr eyes were aimed at the ground. "What are you here for?" she asked the new girl who seemed to sound about her age, she wondered if she had been in this situation before, if she could learrn from this girl or if it was a waste to even consider her an ally.

She fumbled with her oown fingers, not sure what to do with them or where to place them for the time being. She crossed her legs then let her body fall to the ground , sitting crossed leged now until it was her turn for whatever Medical Examination was planned for her.

Ryan grabs some breakfast after wandering around for a bit. He sees most of the other kids up and about, but when he gets to the mess hall only one person is there. He sits down a few seats away from her so he doesn't freak her out. He grabs some food and puts it on his plate, then speaks. "At least its a normal breakfast huh? I don't think I could handle another fight." He sighs and looks at her. "My name's Ryan, I think I saw you come in late yesterday, trust me. Its not something you would want to see." He holds out a bun. "Want one?"

@Shura11

Senna had grabbed herself a small plate, just enough to satisfy her starving stomach. She didn't want to be too full for what ever the day had planned. She'd honestly wish she'd brought a book with her when she noticed no one else in the hall. Senna heard someone talking thought they were talking to someone else until the bread was offered to her. "Uh-I... sure..." she muttered accepting the bread roll. "I'm Senna... I got here towards the end of what ever was going on... and just kind of walked off until a nurse found me..." She explained before taking a bite from the bread.

@TerraBooma

"Yes, I did mean a medical examination" Colt pulled his sister close, holding her to his side as they walked. He wouldn't let anyone hurt her again. Not unless it was for her own good.

It was always like that though. If there was anything medical going on, she refused. Turned difficult. Always like that.

"Do it, and I'll do you a favor later. Deal?" It wasn't to argue about even. His whole bodylanguage and tone told her that she had to do it.

_____

"nice to meet you Loo" This girl seemed nice enough. A little bit like herself, not someone who spoke too loud or too much. Maybe she was a possible friend? Elisa hoped so the least. If she couldnt' get a friend at some point, this would end up being horrible. Very horrible.

"I'm here for the same as everything else? These people from A.N.C.H.R. Said my powers could be used for the better, and they have to be honest, don't they?" A little naive, a little bit too faithful. Easier to describe here was it not.

When the girl fell to the ground, Elisa let out a small shriek, and was about to dart forward to stop the girl from getting hurt, but it seemed like she was alright. "Can I ask you why that woman stoppped you earlier?"

"Trust me, what you missed is something I hope I never have to go through again." He sighs. "At least none of the kids got hurt." He eats for quickly, trying to eat what he'll need for energy the day. "We have medical examinations today, not sure what after..." He sighs. "I'm not going to let them shove any needles in my arm, that's for sure." He laughs. "I'm hoping that doesn't happen though." He sip some water. "You really should eat some more food, you'll need energy for whatever these guys throw at us...I know my power taxes my reserves to no end." He laughs. "Although wind might be different from whatever you can do."

Senna stared at the boy while he talked wondering how someone could be so talkative this early in the morning. Maybe he was a nervous talker? "I... kind of have anxiety issues... when I'm in new places like this. If I eat too much I tend to get sick" she spoke up a little louder this time she wasn't sure how long they were going to be there or what was was waiting for them later on but it might help to at least attempt to make friends. "I'll be okay, my abilities aren't too taxing." she smiled faintly. True be told she had never tested her powers past vibrating a few glasses so she wasn't sure what would happen if she used it more.

@TerraBooma

Ryan nods. "Alright, just take it easy on yourself, all we have is each other at this point." He laughs. "We have to stick together against those guys, they have all the power in this place. So fighting together is our only option." He nods. "I'll be honest with you, I'm probably the most nervous person right now. " he sighs. "I'm not sure what's going to happen to us but I feel like I really should relax a bit huh." He looks at her. "Sorry if I'm bothering you, just needed to get some stuff off my chest." He looks at the clock. "When are we supposed to report down again?"

@Shura11

Senna frowned slightly not liking the sound of fighting. She wanted to get her abilities to stop not use them for fighting. Hopefully there wouldn't be another fight any time soon. "It's ok... I don't mind." She looked up at the clock. "un... not sure... perhaps we should go down now?"

Ryan nods, finishing the last of his plate quickly. He stands up with his uniform covered in crumbs. He wipes them off. "Right. So...how do we exactly get back to the infirmary?" He laughs. "I think there's a map outside, c'mon. We should get there in time if we hurry...maybe?" He looks around the hall. "I guess nobody else is hungry today, their loss." He holds his hand out to the sitting Senna. "C'mon, let's go."
