Leonard sighed. "Alright...I'm going to look out for more of the monsters." He said. "Lavender, since your leg is better. You can come with now, if you want." He turned to the direction the canines went.

Lavender nodded. "Sure thing!" She gave the other three a wave and skipped after Leo.

Andrew starts looking down at the ground. He looks for a place to sit and think. Life before all of this. The life of a high schooler, with a loving family. I guess that life died when all of this happened. Andrew continues to look down at the ground, saying nothing.

"You seem a bit too happy. Considering we are hunting down the monster that viciously bit your leg." Leonard said. "Are you always like this?" He asked, more as a joke.

Lavender shrugged. "It beats being grumpy all the time." She eyed Leo as she said. "And when I find that monster," Her eyes twinkled, "I'll kill it."

"Uh...huh." He mumbled. "Now that's just a bit unsettling." Leonard said. He picked up a trial, and followed it. It seemed to lead to a huge cave, it was rock. At least there was still natural formations. It was covered in sand, but still.

"So. Should we go in?" He said. "Because. We can always go back. Know that you think of it, this cave might have all the Monsters in it..."

Andrew shakes out of it and says "Yeah..., I guess." He gets up from where he was sitting and says "So, is anyone in the mood for some cooked canines? They're not the most tasty creatures, but you can still eat them. Then again, there might still be a place to get food here."

"Are you scared Leo?" Lavender teased. She eyed the cave and wasn't the lit bit surprised there was sand on it. She was really getting sick on tired of the sand. She even managed to get some in her shoes.

"Not scared. Just...worried." He said. "Those things are unpredictable. Very much so." Leonard looked into the cave with his ability. "And...I get the feeling they are much, much smarter than we thought. This could be a trap. And a very good one too. I can't even see anyone in the cave..."

Lavender bit her lip and nodded along as he spoke. "I get that, but we could learn more right? There so many questions and maybe they lie within the cave. Whatever happened to those animals could have happened to our world. So yeah let's go in." She really hoped she wouldn't regret the decision.

"Fine. But I'm going to keep my special vision...I can't see walls this way. So a little...help would be appreciated." He said. "Like this. I can warn you if any are coming in the dark. You might also want to use your special fire thingy to actually make light."

Soon, Leonard noticed something already. "I...think it's a human heat source..." he said. "Let's try to see. There are no other heat sources around. I think it's safe. Unless the human is...not safe. And a murderer or something..." Leonard mumbled. "Never mind that. We can either go over there and talk, or continue looking around the cave. It's your call, I'm not exactly fond of both of those choices."

"I'm pretty sure you already know what I'm going to say." Lavender stated. "Besides I'm pretty sure we could take on a murder. Probably." She nodded. "Let's go over."

He sighs. "Sur--" the Human suddenly jumped out, and ran out the cave. The person had also violently pushed Leonard into a wall. "...uhh..." Leonard said. "What..."

"No...I don't think so. We still gotta investigate this cave, right?" He said, rubbing his head. "Who ever that was didn't want to be bothered...so I guess don't bother?" Leonard shrugged.
