Lavender nodded and spared a single glance after the human before she continued walking. "So Leo tell me about yourself."

"What do you mean?" He said. "The only thing worth mentioning is that I built all the homes in that town. And you already know that." Leonard said.

"Ok, how about you Noir?" He says as he is making a fire to cook the canine. I need to know who my new friends are before they know who I am.

"Well, I'm from a dark village in a cave... Explaining my skin tone is a problem..." Noir started to say. "One day, v-village was d- destroyed." A tear was visible on his face. "Family and friends are gone... Leaving me the only one to s-survive..."

"Well. I guess I'm way older than you." He said. Although, he does tend to lie about how old he is, it's very hard to tell how old he actually is. In the past, he'd even forgotten his own age. "And...uh. I was alone. In the desert before any of this happened. I was trying to figure out what happened, without any help I guess. Until I got lucky."

"Well. I found out that Stone was plentiful underneath the sand. Apparently, no one knew before me. So, they used the stone to rebuild everything. And...I had to do it myself." He said.

"That must have sucked." Lavender said. "But hey atleast you got some shelter." She winced remembering how baldy damaged his house currently is. "Or what's left."

"Good. We gotta be quiet, because...this cave is full of them. And considering what dogs are now, I'd hate to see what bats can do." He said, looking at the ceiling. Full of huge bats.

Lavender followed his gaze to the ceiling. "You've got to be kidding me." She huffed and continued walking. "Quiet. I can totally do quiet."

"Remember. I still can't see anything, and I gotta watch 'em." Leonard whispered. "You still have to make sure I don't hit a wall. That will wake them up."

"I'm sorry that happened to you" he says in a serious tone. "Well, I guess I'm up. I'm one of the very few people who remember life before the ‘Changes'. Before all this, I had a loving family. My dad was a doomsday preper, from you who don't know what that is, they prepare for the end of the world. Because of this, he made me study survival guides, and even made the whole family pack emergency equipment where every we went. But other than that, my life was completely normal. The one day I woke up..., but there was nothing, nothing but sand. I tried looking for my family for the longest time, but eventually I lost hope of ever seeing them again." He goes quiet after that and continues to cook the canine.

Elise nodded slowly "i'm sorry for your families" she said, wishing there was some way she could help her friends, but she hardly knew enough about herself right now.  She found herself staring at the tattoo on her wrist in the silence, wondering what it meant.

Elise just kind of gave a shrug, although she definitely looked to be twenty something, she personally had no idea just how old she was.  It saddened her actually, she didn't even know her birthday.

"I guess you were right Lavender. There were monsters in here...luckily, they are sleeping...or dead..." he said. "I can't tell the difference. Either way, we don't have to deal with them. So that's good." Leonard stopped using his vision ability so he could see the area in person. "I need light in here to see." He said.

"When have I ever been wrong." Lavender lit both her fists on fire. She eyed all the sleeping monsters and really hoped they were dead. If they woke up- she really didn't want to think about that.

The canines weren't-- unfortunately --dead. They were sleeping. But there was a clear path. It would be easy to get pass them. But that's not what Leonard cared about, it was the OTHER things in the room. They weren't canines, or human. It was...different. It was bipedal, and seemed very reptilian like. It had quite the long "snout." It had teeth. Even more threatening than the canines. It was a good thing they were sleep too.

"What the hell are those things!" He yelled, in a hushed, quite voice. He stepped back a bit from the room.
