Andrew's eyes widen as he looked at the torn stone. "Guys, that wasn't like that when I came here last time." He quickly ran towards the stone to inspect it. "These are canine marks" he says as he is looking at stone. He starts looking around to see if there is any tracks near. "Hey, what are your abilities, because I have a feeling that we might need to use them" he says referring to Elise and Noir.

Lavender raised an eyebrow at the statement and she wondered where the hell she was supposed to sit? She looked around the  rather destroyed house and sort of felt bad for Leo. "Yes sir." She said not wanting to get in his way. She plopped on the floor humming slightly as she observed him.

He soon noticed a few people looking around. But heat based abilities aren't that reliable. After all, it picked up Three Humans and five Canines. "Oh wait."

Leonard peaked out the door to actually see without his ability. And the one time he didn't want to be right, he was correct. The canines were seemingly lingering behind the three humans. Spying on them. Following them. Leonard mumbled something, and looked back over to Lavender. "Right. Never mind. We gotta go. Again."

Elise approached the house curiously, running a hand over the stone.  She didn't know why her companions were so worried about some simple cut stone, weren't they in a big town of people?  Surely nothing dangerous could happen here, right?  She looked over to her friend, Andrew was his name, when she was asked about her 'power' she tilted her head to him curiously "what power?" she asked, unsure of what exactly he meant by that.  Was it normal for humans  to have 'powers'? She had no idea, it felt like she should know this but she just,,, didn't remember anything.  It upset her a little, why was she seemingly the only one without any memory?

Lavender groaned popping up from where she stood. "More running?!" She shuffled over to where he stood and peeked out the door.

"I told you there could be more life-oh wait." Lavender squinted and spotted the canines. "That can't be good."

"Last time I tried fighting them it didn't really work out." Lavender stated. "So what we just yell to catch their attention?" It didn't seem like a smart idea considering they might catch the canine's attention if the canines didn't already know  where the duo was.

"Um... well, ever since the ‘Changes', that's what I like to call it, humans have been given these powers. For example, my ability enhances the physical strength of one of my limbs for ten seconds." He demonstrates this by use his ability on his arms, and punches the wall, making a hole in it.

Elise's eyes widened, she stepped back fearfully as she watched him punch a hole into the wall "oh my!" she exclaimed, peering through the hole that had been made.  Looking back up to Andrew, she gave a shrug "i'm afraid i don't think i have anything like that.." she said, trailing off a little.  Elise didn't know what "the changes" were, but she felt embarrassed not to have experienced them like everyone else.

@Magadude

"Who. The fuck. Punched. My wall." He grumbled. He ran back inside to see the hole, and after seeing it Leonard mumbled and said things under his breath. He came back to Lavender, "Change of plans. We're going. They can deal with the monsters themselves." He growled.

Lavender peeked her head through the hole and let out a low whistle. "Damn. That's one hell of a punch." Lavender frowned at the change of the plans. "Wait what? Leo you're not serious. They might need your help! You're probably the only one who knows how to deal with those things."

"Yeah. Yeah. Well, they'd better learn." He said, already attempting to sneak around his house to avoid the Canines line of sight. "At least those Monsters will have different targets, and leave us alone."

Lavender huffed and followed Leo and his movements. "Why do I even follow this guy." She mumbled.

Leonard walked off into seemingly the middle of nowhere. But he knew where he was going. He looked at his destroyed house. A shame actually. "Come on. I know were we can hide..."

The canines notice the humans. Three against five. One of the canines snicker. Or at least make a noise similar to it. They snarled and hissed as they made their presence known, walking towards them.

Lavender nodded and spared a quick glance behind her. Three against five. "Leo we could even out the odds ya know." Her statement had been true. If the two of them had helped out it would be five against five or maybe they could even help them escape.

Elise gave the knife a curious look, but before she could ask she heard the snarling beasts that had crept up behind them, turning to face the creatures fearfully.  "what... are those?" she asked curiously, stepping back slowly until she met the wall of the house behind them, she held up the knife to defend herself.

"Shit, they're here. Ok, Noir is your ‘magic' long distance or short?" he says while taking out another knife from his bag. "If it is long distance, then shoot them with it."

The canines were definitely laughing now. They growled at the girl. And the others looked just about ready to attack. They spoke to each other, in something that can hardly be called a language. It was just growling and barking. They were making a plan.

Leonard mumbled and looked back. "Really?" He said. "You'd risk it for those morons? You saw what they did." Leonard said, looking back at his house now. "Of they can punch through stone and my house. They'd better be able to punch through monsters."

Lavender nodded. "Why the hell not?" She eyed Leo. "You kind of risked it too when you went and built er improved an entire town for random strangers." She turned on her heel and grinned. "Don't worry Leo I'll catch up you later. Don't miss me too much!" She ran back towards the house.

Leonard groaned. He kept watch with his vision ability. He could see exactly what was happening. If worse comes to worse. Then he guesses he doesn't have any other choice than to help.

The canines notice the impending magic attack, and push a smaller canine forward, to take the blow. It wasn't laughing that much anymore. Or at all. It knew what was going on. It growled and snarled at the others. And AGAIN, all the canines ended up in a free for all brawl.

Lavender slowed to halt and grinned at the brawling canines. "Perfect." She conjured up a fire ball-not too big, not too small- and blasted it at the canines. After this experience she could proudly say she really didn't like dogs or maybe even any animal.

The canines where shot back, falling out in different directions. Most of the slowly stood up and noticed Lavender. They screeched at her, and snarled. Seems like two of the canines died. It was bound to happen. Considering how much destruction they'd been through today. And the others look like they can't take any more punishment as it is. But the remaining three all charged at Lavender, attempting to attack her violently.
