I stepped back and straighten my clothes a little. "Okay. Sorry about that. I don't know what came over me there. Anyway… um. So? Did you want to see anything else?"

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Not specificaly," I told him. "But, do you want to hang out later, if you're not busy?"

 

[CelticHero37]

I gave her a big smile with a little laugh, "Yeah, definitely. A-actually I was about to ask you that same question. Haha! What's something you like to do?"

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Do you like to swim? There's a really nice pool on campus." I hoped he liked swiming, because that was really the only thing I did that wasn't solitary.

My eyes widened in excitement as soon as I heard her response, "Yes of course I do! I don't get to do it that often, but I love it!"

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Good, then let's go swiming after our last class lets out!" I checked my phone for the time. "Shit, were going to be late for our next class! Come on, we'd better go."

My eyes widened, then I ran after her. "Hey, wait for me!"

I slowed down to let him catch up and we walked to class, this time science.

"This class will be a lot more interesting, don't you think?"

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Yeah, probably," I answered. "But I don't really like school as a whole. And I really don't like mornings, so that doesn't make it any better."

 

[CelticHero37]

I gave her a nudge, "Don't worry, I'll be with you. We can pass notes if you want."

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

I smiled. "Yeah, there is you."

 

[CelticHero37]

"Besides, you should know. In this school, science is just a practical application of what we were just doing. It may be boring in class, but you'll be able to use it afterward."

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Yeah, at least the stuff they teach us here will be useful after we leave."

 

[CelticHero37]

"Yeah. Hey, maybe I could teach you some water stuff when we're at the pool! I don't know nearly as much about that, but we could still have some fun. What do you think?"

"Oooo, I've never tried any stuff with water! That sounds cool!"

"Yeah, it's pretty cool." Mac found a desk that had another empty one next to it. "So, what do you say? You want to be my science partner?"

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Sure. You probably know more than I do, though, so brace yourself for my stupidity," I grinned ruefully, sitting down next to him.

I gave her a concerned stare, "Don't say that. The way you did that blast of fire was amazing. You're not stupid, got it?"

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

I turned red. "I--that was an accident. I couldn't have done it on porpose if I tried." I looked down at a beaker on the desk. I couldn't get over how sweet that was for him to say.

I gave her nudge, "You were trying silly. It was better than me!"
