@Zedalb, if you go with the TW, check your spell list compared to mine and we can swap back and forth. Are you still going to be playing someone from Atlantis?
Sure I suppose, I'll try to take spells you don't have. I'm Just debating it at the moment.

I'll post something tonight either way.

So @Zedalb, have you decided on what OCC you'll be taking? How about you, @Beedub?
I've got a sheet nearly made for each, the tech mage ended up a bit crazy though.

I'm just upset at the medical limits or I would be doctor-Doctor. (PHD and MD). As is I still am amaze Balls.

I just have to get my 2 armor modifications approved.

Which I have to put together the spells for, I'm thinking armor regeneration and either flight, or one of the big defensive spells.

-Zedalb

So you are going with the TW?

@Zedalb are you sure you want to take the HtH skill of Assassin? That is a lot of skills to tie up in it, and is usually reserved for evil aligned characters. I am hoping that you guys are more on the light side of the Force, not the dark, if that makes any sense.

Dam I was hoping to make a sword that could store PP and when it killed someone took that whole, double PPE at the moment of death rule to be an awesome battery.

However it says that human sacrifices for PPE is evil, so I figured might as well get Assassin with it.

If you don't want us evil that dashes that sword plan.

Honestly it has a lot more growth the maxi man who was doing 6d6+42 MDC and had like 150 MDC. That's awesome but at the same time boring.

The TW has as much growth as I can imagine and sell to the GM that's much less boring then the unstoppable bruiser.

-Zedalb

Do it.

I'm just gonna go for a GB so we can move things along. TW sounds cool, but since I'm new I think GB will help me make more sense of the game, and I'm sure people wanna get the show on the road. I just wanna know how @Psychie wants me to handle the additional P.P. stat I need for the OCC. I'll definitely take the advice for that Boxing skill though.

It was said you could switch stats around or reroll as needed.

-Zedalb

Yeah my character can do some front line fighting, but a GB will be nice in case we run it real heavy stuff.

I'm working on mine as we speak. I still need to decide on a thing that I wouldn't normally have, which I'm close to being able to do. I just wasn't sure what I didn't already have yet before.

I really just need the two functions for my armor.

I'm thinking one some type of modification of energy field.

Basically the spell wraps around the armor stopping all incoming and outgoing spells and energy.

Add to that 60 MDC because it only affects me, and maybe extend the duration a bit.

How about this:

Modification 1:

Energy Shielding Aura

10 PPE

Duration 1 minute (4 turns) Or until destroyed.

Gives 120 MDC to the caster that is damaged by, not just incoming attacks but also by the casters attacks.

Caster can still cast non damaging spells without interfering with the aura.

-Zedalb

The way you are describing the energy field, it sounds like it would also block any hand held energy weapons that you would want to use. Are you sure you want to place that restriction on your character? Or are you planning on using projectile weapons that your energy field does not block? I just want to be 100% clear on what you want before I say yes or no to it.

I'm not entirely sure what you just said there, but ok. Let's just get everyone focused on getting their sheets fine and posted so we can start the mayhem!

I think mine is about done? Is there anything you want me to add? Oh I am not sure how much she would have credit-wise as an escapee? How long are we figuring on being out on our own.

Everything looks good on your sheet. For cash, you can start out with 2,000 credits that is ready to spend in your personal fund, along with another 5,000 in various black market goods that you have picked up over the past few months. Once everyone gets their characters finalized, I'll give you some details on your NPCs and the current job that you have hired on to do.

Ok, I went ahead and put up pics and some info on two of the NPCs you'll be dealing with. The former Coalition officer, Becky, has come to the point in her life that she can trust the members of the party, even if a part of her is creeped out by being surrounded by spellcasters and other 'monsters'. After turning from the Coalition, she is in the process of swinging to the other extreme of associating with what would have been treated with utter contempt and instant hostility. Having a open warrant for her arrest and the large reward involved for turning her in is another reason to buddy up with those that will not be tempted to go to her former employers.

Xera, on the other hand, is on the run from her family that is trying to marry her off to another pixie that she wants nothing to do with. She is a bit capricious and sometimes it is difficult to get her attention focused, but she is very smart and knows much about creatures of magic and the Fae in particular.

Well I'll take the 2,00 credits but my character has a skewed concept of possessions so the 5,000 in black market goods I am willing to open to a party fund. She has little concept of possession beyond her personal gear, armor, and weapons. So she would grab stuff that would help the party, first aid supplies, medicine, parts for the vehicle and the like.

So how long have we been with the NPCs and how did we come to travel with them, or will that be in the opening post?

I'll take it as resources towards building you better gear fair deal?

I have no issue with that, some nice gear she or the team could use would be fine by her.

Rebecca has been a part of your team for the past several months as you have slowly made your way from the east coast towards the Midwest. She has been with you long enough that she has developed a grudging level of respect and engages in friendly harassment of the spell casters and Kylen, and acts more tolerant of the Glitter Boy pilot (assuming that he's a human).

Xera has been with you for somewhat less time, and it seems that she has adopted you instead of you guys deciding to let her travel with you. The sprite used to act as if she were some kind of royalty, but you have noticed that her attitude has eased up, and Xera has become surprisingly helpful.

A light Blade Cost 18.5K

I can pay for 8.5+ your 5k we are 5k short.

If the others can throw that in we can start with a light blade.

If we have even one, I can in time copy it and make more as well as improve and modify it.

they do 1d4*10MDC Damage!

DOUBLE THAT TO UNDEAD LIKE VAMPIRES.

They also provide some other benefits like +1 to hit.

Mostly I want us to all throw in so that we have one in the party to be used by our best swordsman, or whoever needs the boost. And I will better arm us in time.

Also

Ms Gm!

I know what I want my two armor features to be, I'll spell them out a bit better this time.

-Zedalb

I have something like ten thousand in black market goods that I can part with to make the goal of getting a light blade for reproduction possible. I am really looking forward to this game.

@Zedalb when it comes to TW upgrades of your armor, I just want to be as clear as to what you want so I don't have a false idea of what you are going for.

Feel free to pool your resources to get other gear to start with. You will be starting out with a job to escort two people to a small town in Texas. You'll be getting a lump sum up front (I need to decide just how much) with a larger bonus for getting your passengers safely to their destination, (no need to make any Star Wars references here) and your pay will go up depending on how much trouble you have getting to your final stop.

Finally, thank you
@Sherwood for the note of excitement. I hope to have fun with this, too.
