Dice Rifts

I mean the sword is on his sheet, and you can go look at tattos, but keep in mind I would get 2 per level and I'm not now.
So getting 6, means after level 3 I'm netting a lose, thats not very long.

You will be able to get other items and artifacts along the way that will help. In another game I was in, a fellow was wanting to play an Anti-Monster from the South America book. He liked it, but wanted to be able to add other spells to his arsenal as he leveled up and the ST kept saying 'no'. I am quite happy with you playing a T-Man. But, with that character comes some drawbacks. Just like playing a mech pilot has problems with it. How are you paying for your ammo? Where do you put it when you want to go into a town? What about repairs? All a part of the character class.

I get that, and I certainly get my downsides, (What am I without PPE.....I do need a good magic sword)

I was just clarifying.

Sheet is nearly done btw

Well, I'm personally looking forward to getting to a level where I don't have to worry about packing a rifle to help me out I a fight. I want a spellcaster that can rely upon his magic alone to do the job.

I also decided to use a different pic for Quinn. More wizard-y looking to me.

That's fine. Don't forget that you guys will be starting off with the Mountaineer ATV as a team vehicle, and I'll probably give you a small amount of working funds; a team bank of 10,000 credits or so. That will help pay for repairs and storage fees on your vehicle. The ATV has a decent cargo space to it, so you can stick gear in it without worry. Sherwood, you can also strap your motorcycle to the outside of the truck and ride inside it, and dismount to ride the bike as needed.

So what's the rundown of who's going to be what so far? I feel like the three of you have pretty much decided, and I'll end up making a decision based on that.

Ley Line Walker. Pretty much a straight up wizard.

So what is your guys back story for escaping Atlantis, I'd like to tie mine in. I am thinking she was a formerly loyal servant until her gene - sister, who was not loyal, was sent on a suite mission and never returned that planted doubt. I was thinking she may have come across one or more of the other PCS as they escaped and rather than report it she decided to tag along.

I was thinking that the three of us all made a run from our cruel master, helping each other to make our escape. That gives us all a reason to be working and traveling together.

So looking at the others I have a wishlist of sorts so say yea or nay on each.

1. A vibrosword.

2. A CP 50 dragonfire rifle taken off a dead coalition soilder. It is in Coalition War campaign in the weapons section.

3. The standard skinsuit warrior women wear with is 30MDC if I recall.

4. The amulet warrior women wear which gives armor of Ithan 3/day.

Just let me know in any combination of the above will work.

I can work with that and just tie in the back story about the gene sister, who may or may not be alive as GM fodder, should the GA chose to use it.

Approved.

So we have a Blind Warrior Woman, an Ogre T-Man, a Atlantian Ley Line Walker, and whatever @Beedub is going to whip up. Yup, its a Rifts game.

Lol indeed. I am on my tablet right now in line for Captian America. I'll do some rolling when I get back.

Enjoy. No spoilers, though! I want to see it myself.

I can't express my jealousy. I wanted to see it opening day, but I have to work in an hour.

Finally going through a lot of the main book and reading what you guys are talking about and I'm getting a feel for how some of this works I think. Rifts is way bigger than I realized at first.

I was looking at the Glitter Boy OOC because robots are cool, but I'm a point short in P.P. but the Operator seems kind of fun too, and maybe more of what I was originally looking for anyway.

Should I be referring to the main book or the Ultimate Edition for OCCs? They look like they show different skill sets with the skills being expanded in the UE.

I believe that we are using the Ultimate Edition for the OCCs. Also, one thing that I have seen other STs allow is being able to move your attributes around as long as they are the same d6.

Yes, robots are quite cool. Just keep in mind that you'll have to keep track of your armor and ammo. I was planning on tossing in an NPC; I may make the character a mechanic of some sort to help keep your ATV and powered gear running.

So GM question the warrior woman has a number of bonuses to strike, parry, and other things. On the skill list they have a number of physical skills which give bonus to stats and what not. Past GMs I have played with have rule that the skill bonuses are not yet factor in because for instance boxing and Athletics alone gives a total of +3 to parry and dodge but the warrior woman's bonus section only shows +2. I wanted to make sure you were reading it that way as well before I add those bonuses in.

The skill section says they are all accumulative, and everything seems to imply they stack, including the few other sheets I found online from the company thats the way they did it. I mean I don't understand why they wouldn't most of those skills suck for most things and your just buying a small combat boost.

Also, I think I'm changing to Maxi man it just seems flat out better. Unless someone else sees something I don't?

Go ahead and add the bonuses in. They don't make that big of a difference to be breaking the game.
