Psychie Psychie Kikimura Kikimura I believe Psychie meant to type "1D6x10+10." Meaning roll a d6, multiply the number by 10, and add 10 to the result. The result of that roll will be a number between 20 and 70. (If we rolled 0 damage, this would make for a looong combat! Ha ha!).

Still, our Psychie is the best and she points out my goofs too - as friends do! That way, we learn and grow together! =)
Thanks

Yeah, I was posting from my phone and autocorrect struck. Sorry I made a confusing situation when I was trying to help.

Psychie's always helping! She's cool like that! =)

He saw that the fox was taking the seed and running away with it. He did not care as it was just a seed.
GunMan2 GunMan2 Heya GunMan2! This did not happen, but with all of the chaos right now in the scene, details can seem screwy.

What is taking place with Snowfall.
1. Snowfall currently looks like an old man, thin wispy beard, in splendid clothes. (Snowfall can transform himself into a human, a cloud, a fox, and a "hybrid" or "werewolf" kitsune form if you will. In his human form, he can change his age from a young man to an ancient.)

2. Snowfall has no such seed because there isn't one - it's a tree sapling.

3. Snowfall also has no sapling because, despite his natural ability to detect magic and detect chi, he seems to have fallen for a hologram or whatever and now is more confused than anybody. He will be searching for this precious sapling as if his honor depended on it (because it does).

Happy Friday and I hope you have a good weekend and Fourth of July! (O.K., I wish that for everyone whether you're American or not.) =)

Allright, it thought snowall was a young looking fox and wanted to say that Takuma seen him go to the seed but he is more focused on the armed men coming for them as it takes more priority.

Yeah! GunMan2 GunMan2 Briefly, for the fun's sake, Snowy transformed into his young human form during his conversation with Psychie's dragon, Kimi. =) As for Takuma being focused on the danger, well hey! Your previous character, Chris, was pretty practical too! =)

There is a differance. Chris would take the most straight forward path
to reach the goal while navigating the good and the bad. But he will not abandon a friend even if ordered to.

Takuma, is someone who will do the job but will not let himself be stopped by anyone to achieve it. He will abandon a friend if ordered and hinders the mission.

So basically 2 sides of the same coin

Wow! That's a pretty big difference!

For Snowfall, it depends on the mission, but a friend is a friend. In a mission like ours where the future of Japan is at stake, Snowfall would do everything he could to succeed in the mission while not abandoning the friend. If he ultimately had a choice, he would have to go with the survival of the Millennium Tree sapling, for that affects many, many lives. In doing so, he would hope his friend could find a way to forgive him. Note: I can't think of any of Snowfall's friends who would tell him to do the same.

However, this is also the most important mission he thinks he has ever been on - and one his own deity handpicked him for. If instead, the mission were something he typically takes on, like finding treasures, taking down a big monster, or solving non-life-threatening problems, his friends come first. No doubt about it.

Fuchizaki sees one of the guards charging at him and quickly makes up his mind. He aims his AT-230 directly at a guard's chest and fires.
"Not today, scumbag!" Fuchizaki snarls.
Go Fuchizaki!

Steve Freeling Steve Freeling Recommendation? Roll damage next? If it hits, you've saved some time and I know Sherwood uses this technique and approves of it.

So, how do I roll damage?
Same way you rolled to Strike (you can Edit your own post) except the numbers are different. Roll a D4. Put in the notes that the AT-230 does 1D4x10+10 M.D. and the result is there for all to see. =)

EDIT: Like this!

The simultaneous attack catches the guard off balance, and Kimi's Power Attack slams into the man, shattering his armor and knocking him off his feet. He quickly leaps back upright, but you can tell he's hurt.
Sherwood Sherwood Two questions, please?

1. How did this guy get back onto his feet without costing him the Action it should have cost him?

2. Who in our party can perform the same trick?

He's a Juicer, and has mad reflexes. That's how he's able to dodge and not use any actions in the process.

And the answer to Question 2, please?

At the moment, no one has the same level of enhanced reflexes that the Juicer does. It helps him to be able to maneuver, but it burns his lifespan down greatly.

So it is all enhanced reflexes and not skill. Thanks!

Also, is the following paragraph logical in your game?

Snowfall, using his natural and instant ability to sense magic and sense Chi, begins to use those senses to search the vessel for the Millennium Tree sapling. His reasoning is simple - there should be nothing else like it.

When Snowfall opens up his senses to try and detect the sapling of the Millennium Tree, he is quite certain that it is not on the transport or anywhere within your perception range. It is simply not here. The tree that had been passed off as the sapling is an ordinary cedar tree.
Kitsune don't have to "open up" their senses any more than dragons have to "feed" on magical energy in order to survive or humans have to "turn on" any of our five senses - they are always active. If anything, we have to smother them to turn them off. My magically-born character who senses magic naturally completely missed that this sapling was false for the entire time he was on the vessel.

He had one job and he blew it. He has failed Inari and that is going to crush him. Plus, his natural abilities... aren't.

I may have made a mistake in wanting to play Snowfall here. Perhaps I should play someone... simpler.

Tula kept her right eye glued to the scope, taking aim at (phsycho security 7) this time. With her AT-230 pointed his direction she took a deep breath, calming her heartbeat and pressing the trigger.

(I got a 3 on a post I had to delete)

(3+7=10 to hit)
(If I hit- 3x10=30+10=40 DMG)
Kikimura Kikimura I bet Sherwood would be happier if, instead of you rolling a 6-sided dice to hit, you rolled a 20-sided dice to Strike (that's what this system uses for most combat-related results).

Also, Sherwood allows damage rolls to be rolled at the same time Strikes are made (like the rolls Steve made earlier). So maybe try a d20 roll followed by a d4 roll and see where those get you? =)

As you can read, on a post I had to delete I rolled a 20 to hit and got a three. And then on the new post I rolled a 6 and got another 3.
