I won't lie Sherwood Sherwood it seems I'm practically holding you back, I also still have no concept over how the world works or mechanics. It might be best I don't participate--as I'd feel bad just leeching off you guys.
I don't mind helping you out if you are willing to give this game a shot. If not, I understand.

Sherwood Sherwood question, can I have Ando use Super Telekinesis to do a “Force Push” and throw all three of the incoming guys off the building?
It would be a standard attack roll, and they would have a chance to dodge out of the way. I would give them some negative modifiers since the TK push isn't normally visible.

Would I just use my base strike bonus then?

Ok I will get a response out this evening (still at work)

Kikimura Kikimura Hey you! Please remember, each of us was once new to all of this too! =)

I don't think you're leeching. Leeching is taking without giving back. I think you're trying to give by being curious which means - at least in my book - you are sharing! =)

In this matter of Initiative, do you know how to use the RP Nation dice roller? If so, please roll a die 20. Your character has a +1 bonus (which is more than my character has - ha ha!).

Or, would you like to ask Sherwood to roll real polyhedron dice for you? He rolls mine. Either way, have fun and ask when you are curious, Kikimura! =)

Before I post IC, Eonivar Eonivar where exactly did you place your tk force field, and how many MDC points does it have? I think I remember you saying that you were forming a tunnel to get the ministers off of the roof, but I want to make sure I was right.

I can roll a cube, but I am still lacking an understanding of the mechanics. Though I can always try I guess, I'll read up to see where I am and make my reply. I might need help with any abilities that I have or how to use em, But I have no idea if/what to add to my initiative---again never played anything other than DnD; really unfamiliar with the system.

As long as you don't mind asking for the occasional bit of assistance from me and the rest of the group, I can handle the game crunch and mechanics and I'll let you worry about the fun of playing your character.

We have a great bunch of Palladium experts here in me, Dannigan, Eonivar and Psychie. I promise that we won't steer you wrong. We can give you advice on what the numbers mean and keep you from going too crazy with some overkill level of damage when a smaller hit will do the trick.

As long as you are cool with it, we are too!

Kikimura Kikimura your character has a +1 to initiative in general combat, and another +6 against foes within six feet of you. Right now, only the +1 applies. Roll a d20 and add the bonus in. That puts you into the combat chart for your first of your five actions. We'll let you know what counts as an attack compared to a instant action that doesn't use an attack/action.

I know, thanks for the kind words. I'll do it! Still feels bad to rely on the DM a lot heh

Btw Sherwood Sherwood I just read over and saw I wasn't mentioned in any of the lore and other msgs leading up to the combat encounter---which is probably why I missed all of them.
Is my character a random that just happens to be of help? just so I know how to interact etc.

I started you out in post #37 with this:

Kikimura Kikimura let's get you into this shindig. You are one of three people that have been recruited by the Republic of Japan to help them deal with a rash of demon incursions. The Republic is not as magic savvy as the Empire of Japan, so it is hoped that you, Snowfall and Kimi To can aid the local team of agents under the Ministry of Metahuman Affairs' control.

As a part of this help, a magical tree sapling known as a Millennium Tree is being gifted to the city of Hiroshima from the Millennium Tree in Kyoto. This is a very rare and precious gift, and you are a part of the escort to get the Tree safely to Hiroshima. Right now, you are inside the armored transport aircraft in its cargo hold with the sapling, waiting for the all clear to open the main doors to exit with the Tree.

However, things don't go as planned. You hear over the intercom of the transport excited voices exclaiming that there is an attack underway by agents of the Ministry security force, and they are trying to destroy the transport!

At this point, you know that there was a security escort that flew in with your airship of six powered armor suits, but if they were going to be the ones to try and destroy the Tree, they could have done so long before now. Right now you don't know how many targets there are, but you can hear the sound of energy weapons firing and hitting the transport.

Please give me a d20 roll for initiative, and add the initiative bonus of +7 to it from your sheet.

Edit: your metal power of Sixth Sense is going off, giving you ample warning that you are in danger.

You are currently inside the transport, and your Sixth Sense is going off, giving you a flash of warning that there is immediate danger. With it going off, you have a total of a +7 to your initiative roll.

Oo sorry, I looked specifically in the IC chat.

No worries. Just give me an initiative roll when you can.

Oh sorry, the Telekinetic Force Fields have 25 MDC. Yay level 1! Not a lot but it will help some.

It is not a seed, but a young Millenium Tree sapling.

He has just slipped into the cargo area of the transport aircraft and you can see the sapling of the tree, inside an armored display case.

O.K.. Let me be open here (heck, when am I not, right?). Sherwood Sherwood Your intro into this game states:

Between me, Psychie and Dannigan, we have been discussing a new Palladium game set in the Rifts world of Japan. You are going to be a mixed team of supernatural and/or high tech beings that have been brought together to try and recover a stolen mystical item that was taken by a being of supernatural evil <mwuhahaha!>
I have the impression the bad guys are supposed to somehow get their hands on the Millennium Tree sapling (not seeds, thanks for the correction). I don't see how they can possibly do that if I do play Snowfall the way I normally do, doing what he would honestly do in-character. I believe this will screw up your entire game. So... Bud? This is your game. You're the boss here. I'm here for everyone's fun including yours. I don't imagine you'll be having much fun if I pull what Snowfall would honestly pull.

For the sake of your story and game, I mentioned a few weeks ago the idea that as his Player, I would intentionally have Snowfall screw up so that the bad guys get the sapling (see that post for details). However, I don't recall receiving any response to my post (not that I'm getting alerts for this game, but hey. First world problems, right?).

So, for the sake of the fun, what would you have Snowfall do in this scene? Tell me and I'll have him do it (his way, but I'll do it).

Originally, I was going to have the Tree sapling get taken, but that was not the only thing that was going to be running the show. Have fun, and play Snowfall as you will.
