I actually was considering anticipation on a way to limit power.

Because it takes an action and you don't get your PS bonus and *could* fail after using the action.

However yeah I hadn't considered MDC combat means no AR.
So it always works instead of costing an action that may do nothing.
Mirgris Mirgris Thanks for being open about all of this. =)

If anything, I think your guy could make more use out of Simultaneous Action than trying to hinder it. Simultaneous Actions are usually melee-related and... is that P.S. of your guy's normal? Robotic? Supernatural? Whatever the case, once we figure out how to keep your character well-armored, Simultaneous Attack will be something the bad guys will be fearing from your guy. =)

Two other things. Your character has two MDCs. Shouldn't they stack and make only one?

Also... if Psychie goes by the book, Gymnastics will give your guy +1 to P.P. instead of the 2 that you rolled (I think she may have missed that, but that Gymnastics and Acrobatics each offer +1d4 P.P. rule has been gone a long time - it's definitely not in Rifts Ultimate Edition). Anyways, if she'd allow it, maybe take Plyometrics? (That's from Rifter #7 originally. It's also in the Ninjas & Superspies hardbound. It adds +2 to P.P., Spd, and - just what your guy needs - another +2 to P.S.! Plus, Plyometrics is an exercise form that's not exactly hard to come by.) That would pop your character up to a P.P. of 24 and give him +5 to Strike, Parry, Dodge. =)

(I'm in an Exalted game where I'm really out of my league in terms of knowledge and experience, but Palladium? Heck! I've been playing for Palladium much of my life!). =)

Supernatural PS

I'm fine losing 1 point of PP

Simultaneous attacks are fine, I was looking for handicaps, because a big theme of both the class and race is using power responsibly. He isn't trying to hit as hard as he can on every enemy, and kill and destroy. Often he will be holding back.

(The scene I've imagine is some punks trying to mug him in a city and him just kind of grabbing them and sitting on them while lecturing them about the use of force, and the nature of power and change.)

Good morning everyone! Lots has come up while I was in dreamland, I see.

Let me go over what has been posted. I did limit everyone to use skills from the Rifts Ultimate Edition for just this reason; to keep everyone on the same page for their skills and percentages. I’m already adding to the game by letting players take skill programs from Ninjas and Superspies and using the martial art powers from that book, too.

That being said, I might let people take skills from the Compendium at a future date or in another game. But for now, we stick with the skill description from the RUE book.

Hello! Since I'll be playing one charictar with two different statblocks, and since the first set was rolled so long ago I have forgotten the right numbers, I call uppon Psychie Psychie , our dear DM, to pretty please with cheese on top roll for me:

the standard rolls for a human's stats: (I belive that's 4d6 drop the lowest and re-roll ones?)

and separately, for the werewolf,
IQ: 1d6+5 unless if you want me to just take 10, but I kind of want the roll
ME:3d6
MA: 3d6
PS: 2d6+16 (wow)
PP: 2d6+14
PE: 2d6+16
SPD: it just says 50, and these skills are only used for being in werewolf form

Thank you :D

Psychie Psychie ! Do ya think ol' Eonivar Eonivar or EmperorNorton1 EmperorNorton1 or One of Hearts One of Hearts could start out with one (or is that a pair) of these? GunMan2 GunMan2 Sherwood Sherwood What do you think? Great idea, right?!

Sweet. We are closer to game time. I need the distraction; I’m in the hospital again after being out from my last stay for only a month. Pneumonia again in my right lung. I must say, I am done with this crap.

delightful! I was wondering if it would be possible to have a different set of stats for when Thea isn't impacted by lycanthropy? I have some ideas for how that mechanic could work.

the scores for ME and MA would be the same, for PS, PP, and PB, the same base dice rolls but with the added bonus halved (So 18, 14, and 16, respectivly) and then the standard human score rolls for IQ, Speed, and PB, completely separate in those catagories. I want this to be someone struggling with herself, so having two different scores depending on circumstance could mechanically show that she's a person at war with herself.

(Inside of you there are two wolves. one thirsts for the blood of your enemies. the other wants a grilled cheese sandwich. they compromise on tomato soup)

Hey Sherwood Sherwood ? While we wait (and since you don't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon), you down for a little IC RP between Dreamy and Raven (and anyone else who wants to join in)?

I can get it started. =)

I have not had a chance to work on my sheet today, as I’ve had to travel for a family emergency and not been able to get on my laptop, but I will have enough time to finish the mechanics of my charictar tomorrow, even if I don’t have the backstory fully formed and written down.

Yow! Hope the family emergency ends well for all involved, Alex!

Sorry, things got bad in my life pretty quickly. I will try to catch back up on this and splicer in a few days, just a lot of little things all at once, and am dealing with some panic attacks and other issues.
