Well, my og idea was that Thea was going to be from New York (specifically the Buffalo area) so a local could be very useful. For her background, I’m thinking vintner’s daughter, so I’m going to take some charisma-based skills (haggling, entertaining) and also some piloting skills. You drive one tractor, you drive em all, right? (I have no idea, I’m from the suburbs, and the city) I’ve also picked up some Krav Maga, which I think I already blocked out for her, I want to play someone not-useless in combat.

am not sure what to fill in, you seem to be a pretty balanced gang. If you have ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Supers also only get half of the skills due to balance reasons according to the book.

We don't have a dedicated mage in the party. That could be very useful. But a Superhero has a lot of stuff available to them that can really set you apart from the crowd.

Do you want me to take like-healer stuff? I can grab first aid for certain, certainly there have been more than a few drunken brawls that result in scrapes for Thea to patch up. My idea was someone kind of naive. She’s from somewhere that’s far enough removed from any danger or adventure, but she gets just a taste of stories of excitement from the people who pass through that she craves it, but she doesn't understand how dangerous adventuring actually is. Psychie, I already had this conversation like a bajillion years ago (scientific terminology trust me), and I was going to take the minor bio-regen, and also Demon Slayer. i was gonna take the daemon detection but you said it would spoil plot points so fair enough.

Ah, yes. Now I'm starting to remember. Taking some first aid would be a benefit to any normal people you come across, not so much for the party.

EmperorNorton1 EmperorNorton1 Heya Alex! Good to "see" you! =)

Forgive my bluntness, but my answer to that question is a simple - what turns you on? What do you really enjoy playing, Alex?

Please don't play something just to fill a role - I want you to be as excited about your character as I am about playing mine. That only comes from being straight-up with yourself and knowing what "turns you on" as a gamer! What kind of characters do you like most, Alex?

Dann, I think you should be a teacher. or a guidance counselor. or an inspirational speaker. you know just what to say to put someone on the right track (:

I like charictars who discover things about themselves. starting off with a badass hero is fun and all, but I want to be someone who grows into their abilities as they grow their abilities. a little bit like Kitty Pryde or Jubilee (X Men has wrecked me). I want to play someone who's worldview isn't set, I want to guide Thea to realize that the fairytales of slaying the monsters under your bed arent even close to the truth. sometimes, the monsters are in bed with you. sometimes, you become the monster. I want to see her wrestle with herself.

mechanically wise, I dont think a major spellcaster is the best idea for me, when you play dnd for the first time, you try a melee class first.this is only my second game. I also prefer playing either healers, heavy hitters, or faces over glass canons. I'm following the Heros of the Megaverse rules, so I'll take my skill levels from there. I just dont want to toaly overlap with everyone, I want my character to be useful beyond staking the undead.

Well, so far, we have only run into a group of vampires one time, even if the game has promise of many undead in our future.

Thank you, Alex! That feels good! =)

Being a huge and long-time fan of the game, if it were me (and it's not!), I'd be wanting to play a Werewolf! You want to talk about wresting with yourself while being hell-on-wheels versus most undead? Yeah baby! Paws out, claws out! =)

And'a whole lotta Gargoyles when we get to Germaaanyyy! Wonderful, wonderful Germaanyyy! 8D

I just got another interest nibble from Mirgris. I think that this will fill our ranks rather well.

Right now I am leaning towards a Chiang Ku Temporal Wizard…open to other ideas for a Chiang Ku…but the wizard sounds effective with this group

I am not as familiar with the spells available to the Temporal Wizard, but I doubt that they will be a problem.

The party is currently at 4th level, so you can make your character to that level also.

I am going to delay my next round of posts until we have a few of the new players ready to go. This is a location that I can integrate them into the game fairly easily so long as the characters are ready soon.

I will do my best to get my character up this week.

Uh, Psychie Psychie ? That O.C.C. is in Rifts: England and they are under my Game Master "Handle With Care" O.C.C.s. I highly recommend you read them up before allowing Temporal Wizards or Temporal Magic.

Remember my Chiang-Ku for Pip's game, Chan-Chan? I did not want Temporal Magic in her game because it is such a game-changer. At least with me at them. Your mileage may vary. Either way, your research on the matter will save you some potentially big surprises down the road.

If the Temporal Wizard is too powerful I can go with some other occ , that was just the first occ for a Chiang Ku that I saw that looked appealing. I can go with something else,

Thank you for your feedback, Purr.

I would appreciate it if you were to take a different OCC. There are plenty out there to pick from.
