I just need to come up with a name for Terra's parents! lol Was not expecting that.

That is the idea! Life requires merriment to feel lived, at least for this Dannigan. =)

I'm totally on board with a visit at Terra's place - sounds good!

As they are flying, she has her Infiltrator stand by with its lightning staff to detonate the grenades to make the whole place go up in pure light.
Psychie Psychie The way this is written... it makes it sound like maybe the Infiltrator is staying? Lightning is... rather instant as I'm sure the resulting explosion from the staff will be. Isn't it coming with us? Unless I've gotten the wrong impression?

I thought tossing grenades (with their typical 3-second fuses) onto the cases would be good enough to set off the rest without having to sacrifice your Infiltrator?

Or... Sherwood Sherwood will the Infiltrator using the staff without collateral damage work after all?

With my plan to get the Undead Slayer tattoos, I will lose my ability to control the Automations per my chats with Sherwood on the subject. I suppose I was using some player knowledge about that when I made my post to have the Infiltrator set off the grenades and stay behind, since I am willing to sacrifice it to make sure that the job gets done.

Sherwood Sherwood What would work better to set off the rest of the grenades? A lightning blast or a tossed grenade?

In a normal case, the Automations are somewhat expendable, so if you were to lose one it can be replaced once you get back to Dweomer. So having Terra use the Infiltrator to set off the grenades while the rest of the party escapes would be a natural thought for her. Besides, leaving the Automation behind fits in my plans that I have to allow Terra her class shift to Undead Slayer.

The grenades are pretty stable, so the lightning staff would work better to set off a set of secondary explosions than another grenade.

Since Dannigan has already declared his use of the Dimensional Teleport, are we ready for me to start my post of the events of the explosions and you popping into the other dimension? If so, it will be later on tonight, since I am heading off to the celebration of life for my friend that passed away a little bit ago. A bunch of us are getting together to share stories and reminisce.

Terra is all set to bug out and hope that everything we leave behind is rendered into radioactive schmutz on the bottom of the Coalition's shoes.

As Terra sends the mental order to the Automation to open fire on the grenades, Snowfall activates his Dimensional Teleport power to get the four of you out of there before you get caught up in the explosion of the reactor. Explosions start to rip across the reactor core as the grenades start to go off, then there is a sudden shift in the background scenery and the four of you tumble to the ground, lying in the grass under a sunny sky. A cool breeze is flowing through the trees, and you are clearly not in Texas anymore.
That firmly answers that question! Oh, and for what it's worth, I wasn't recommending we toss only one grenade to set the rest off but a bunch (see my earlier post). That's all you need to throw just one just to find out the damn thing is a dud - but you've already gone and teleported! Ack! =)

Cool! If this works better, then terrific!

Again, I'll choose a wake over a funeral any day! Hope you guys and gals had a great time! Will you continue your online game somehow or what's your plan if you don't mind my asking?

Ok, gang! Time for some of that tasty xp! I'll grant you all another 10,000 points for the good work you were able to pull off working together like that to rig the bombs.

I'm stuck in the middle of 8th level for a long, long time. Once I switch to the Undead Slayer xp chart it will get even worse.

I've been there (on Gradicus) so "I know how you're livin'." =)

Sherwood Sherwood I don't think we covered this; how do you want to work Snowfall's second martial art system in terms of experience?

Also, are there more sources for Atlantean tattoo magic? I'd like to branch out if that's a possibility.

The most comprehensive book with tattoo magic is Dimension Book 15. There are a few in the Atlantis book, but the Dimension book has more. I might be willing to entertain the option of having new tattoos made up based on existing spells, but that will have to be on a case by case basis.

The second MA technique will start at level one, just for ease of use.

Um. The second Martial Art began when Snowfall hit his last level (8th)? Remember? I took HEMA? Snowfall is now 9th? =)

I wouldn't know where to begin. I don't know Palladium's spells half as well as I know D&D/Pathfinders. =)

EDIT: Still, no worries - I'll find something worthwhile if I look hard enough. =)
