Okies! (Whoops! I knew that about #5 but used the second-to-last latest initiative order by mistake. Derp!) =)

So! Is it possible to catch Skellies 7-10 in a Wind Rush spell (Book of Magic, physical copy, page 119)?

And, most importantly, how's your head feeling today, buddy?

First, are you trying to put up an up-and-down wind wall to block their advance, or a flat one to blow them away?

Second, my head is doing much better, thanks for asking! I have a minor sprain in my left wrist that is bothering me a bit (landed on it somehow when I passed out), but I'm doing pretty good.

Ok, now that I have the right question to answer, here ya go.

Yes, you can engulf all four of the bots in a Wind Rush spell. They have the standard 18, 19 or 20 to save vs. being blown about, but their weapons are either built in (arm mounted vibroblades) or otherwise attached to the hand (the rail gun) so they don't have the risk of getting their gear scattered about in the gust.

I didn't think they'd have a chance of getting disarmed, but the idea of buying some more time is highly attractive. So... it's time to get windy again! 8D

How well could Eron reach bot 10? With all the magic flying around?

Skelebot 10 and Eron are both on the same side of the Wind Wall that Snowfall put up earlier, so you have no problems getting to it. It was able to make its saving throw vs. the wind gust and is not inside the effects of it, so Eron wouldn't be bothered by it either. With your speed and Crazy reflexes, you won't have any issue closing the distance and doing some hack-and-slash on it.

Alrighty, thanks - hack'n slash it is, then. I'll get a post up real quick!

That's what I thought! Wish one of us had some kind of Haste spell so Terra and her Infiltrator could have more to do than just carefully... place... a mind-blowing amount of explosives...

...on second thought, take as much time as you need to carefully do this, Your Royal Psyness! (Sounds almost like "Your Royal Highness," doesn't it?)
=)

While a minute doesn't sound very long, when you compare it to a melee round of 15 seconds, it can really drag. I'm willing to take that hit to keep the Coalition from getting their hands on these monsters.

Skelebot group 11-15 and 16-20 continue to run up, tearing around the corner with their rail guns in hand. Group 11-15 run down the path that Morrolan cursed with his Carpet of Adhesion, but while they are stopped in place, they can still fire their weapons. The first five target Eron and the second bunch of five target Snowfall. Their shots will hit unless you dodge.

Wait. What? There's another path all of the Skelebots can just come running down and blast us from? Sherwood Sherwood If I had known that, I wouldn't have had Snowfall perform a melee attack but put down another Wall of Wind!

Oh, this is entirely why I'm bringing it up. I want everyone to have fun (no one left out). And while Terra and her Infiltrator are making the good times happen, I want their Player to be having fun too. And that means my asking if Terra would be taking different actions (thus speeding things along in Real Life).

Yep. They were running in at 60+ mph to the fight. The odds of one of them being able to hit you with your high dodge bonus is low, so you can lay down another Wall of Wind in their faces on your action.

Not every combat has to involve Terra as the star, but I totally understand your concern that I am enjoying myself too and I love you for it. I'm enjoying the action, even as an observer!

So... how many other corridors, paths, or what have you are available to them if I have Snowfall do this? By your description, I thought there was but one way in:

I apologize for not being more verbose. The Wind Wall was cast, but at this moment there are not any Skelebots trying to run up through it yet. It will be a very real barrier to the bots as they run in closer and try to engage you.

If they can just run around it in one action, it's hardly a barrier at all. Right?

I mean, we don't know the setup of the room. So... how many ways do they have in?

EDIT: And yes, I get that they run 60 mph.

Look, all I'm saying is: If Snowfall had known all 10 Skelebots could just run around through some other doorway, I would have spent his action putting up a Wall of Wind there too. Now, Morrolan might get shot to pieces (or worse, they'll miss and set off all of the demolitions) because we weren't told of another entrance. It would have been nice to have had some sort of clue like, "the Skelebots stop at your Wall of Wind and then go running together at full speed. You see another entrance into the Reactor Room. They seem to be running toward it."

That's all.

Snowfall has a +20 to Dodge their blasts.

Hey, Dann? I can understand your frustration, I thought the windwall would have more of an impact as well. Still, the way I see it, we get our chance to act on it right now - the bots are wasting their shots on us, and we get one round to make sure they are busy with us.

Yeah, Sil! I'd love to agree but I was under the impression the Wall of Wind would make that a harder thing to do. That's not the case now.

They're shooting at us this round, but if during the next, they turn on Morrolan? I doubt Morrolan has our abilities. He came from the insides of a magic-eating beast. I don't recall him exactly having much gear (isn't he borrowing one of our Talismans for armor?). If the Skelebots take that barrier down, he's toast. And I thought we were all covered. Now I'm learning we're not and he might get wasted as a result.

Or worse, since the Skellies appear to have a clean line of fire on us, they can now miss us and set off the demolitions! Then Morrolan is definitely dead (I'm guessing) if not us too.

If I'd known there was another route in, I'd've had Snowfall throw up another Wall of Wind instead of swinging the rod, that's all.

But what happens, happens. Game on! Let's roll some dice and see what happens.

Also, the Wind Wall is still up and working, keeping the bots from getting access to Terra and the reactor. They didn't run around the wall; they haven't gotten there yet.
