i have a question: what happens to a persons character if we arent in battle and they cant get on for a few days?

If you are in the middle of the fight and will not be able to post for a few days, I'll just have you in the background, being heroic somewhere else. If the party desperately needs a hand, I may temporarily NPC that character and have them step in for a moment, but I will never kill off a character just because you are not there. Real Life always comes first.

ok but what about when we are not in battle? whats stops us from being left behind? i mean i dont want to hold people from continuing the story but at the same time i dont want to leave peoples characters in the dust and have them catch up with us later if they can

Let me know if you are going to be out for a time. At that point, you'll be there, in the background, kept safe unless there is some overriding story reason for you to be captured or come up missing. I will not screw over a player like that.

Now, if you are gone for a while and don't let me know, I may start to have you fade out of the story if I don't think you are coming back. Communicate with me as much as you can. That is key.

Purr you are just fine. Your character has strong emotions about what is going on, and that is reflecting in your role-playing. Especially when one of the runaways that you are supposed to pick up is a Kydian.

Thanks! I've never played an Atlantean before (GM or otherwise), much less a young and well-traveled one.

I'm just about done with his gear. He's got about 24,000 credits left. I was thinking about purchasing a weapon like the Lawman shotgun that Terra has; it seems to be hell-on-wheels against vampires when loaded with wooden ammo, plus it sounds very intimidating and that might come in handy along our road.

Also, would you mind if I changed his Spanish to Splugorth? It didn't dawn on me until I saw it listed as a language.
Plus, I still need to roll dice to see how many E-Clips and so forth he has...
Anyone have any other ideas concerning gear?

The language change is fine.

Regarding the whole BigBore Shotgun line, they are pretty sweet. The weapon itself is relatively cheap, but they make up for it with the cost of the bullets. But, using silver rounds against a vampire or werebeast, there are few better weapons to use.

They probably are. But I did get the Room Sweeper for the Anti-Monster from Black Market. That thing is pure hell on wheels. Imagine a minigun firing shotgun shells.

I checked out everyone's character sheets. That's part of the fun of RpN RPing - I genuinely get a real kick out of seeing what folks come up with and we've got some good players here! =)

The scary thing about that Room Sweeper is that Sherro can use it one handed because he's so strong.

DraconianWarrior Thanks for understanding! Any bit of punctuation helps. It has taken me many, many years to get to where I am now when writing! There was a time I could not write a simple letter to put in the mail. Now, I get compliments from people who sometimes ask me if I have considered writing professionally. That makes me feel terrific! =)

Speaking of which, what do you mean by "mention people"? You seem to know how to alert people here in OOC.
