Whew. Finished work, went out to date night with the spouse (we saw the new Doctor Who in theaters, was delightful). 4 pages of OOC and God knows what the IC looks like.

Sorry for being late to the party but nice to see so much energy here!

I've been pretty busy with work myself so I'm trying not to get too behind. I had 3 pages of OOC to read as well as almost a full page of IC.... Most likely I will not be able to respond again until mid to late afternoon today. Hopefully I won't miss too much.

Things move damn fast here - I didn't even notice that the OC blew up over night.

Can I roll perception to see if I notice that that salt shaker didn't fall over by accident? I'm inclined to respond in a similar fashion...

The posts are flying by now, but I'm willing to bet that the pace will smooth out soon. That will make things easier on everybody (or so I hope!). =)

I post when I can really, wifi is not always garanteed, and service niether.

Oh, I can just see it now... =)

Brazamal: "Har har har! It is only the first scene of the game and already these fools are eating my magical dinner! Soon, they will be my slaves forevaaaar!

"And as for those other two, these parasitic domination collars I got from Splynn will do the trick - and they were on sale too! Twenty-five percent off! Woo! Such victory so early in the game! Har har har!"

Sherwood: "Uh, Brazamal. That's not going to happen. This time, you are a good guy."

Brazamal: "What?! Who says?!"

Sherwood: "I say. This is my game, buddy, and I'm the GM. Brazzemal was another kind of dragon in another kind of game."

Brazamal: "BUT I DEMAND TO BE SUPREMELY EVIL!!"

Sherwood: "Nope. And you'd better change that attitude quick, fast, and in a hurry or you will find out what a Game Master can do."

Brazamal: "Kind of evil?"

Sherwood: "Nuh, uh."

Brazamal: "Sneaky?"

Sherwood: "I'll let you get away with 'mysterious.' Now let's get back to the dinner scene."

Brazamal, pouting: "Fine! But it's my dinner so these do-gooders are only getting deep-fried scones and pickled figs... and cookie crumbs for dessert!"

Sherwood: "Brazamal, you overgrown iguana..."

Brazamal, wailing: "All right, all right! Have it your way! Darned, rotten all-powerful GMs... killing all my fun... *sniffs*"

Dannigan waves: "Hey there! I'm a GM!"

Brazamal: "YOU, SHUT UP! You're not running this game!"

Dannigan, scratching his head: "Wha? What'd I say? Hmm..."

(END) =)

the story seems like its getting a good start im glad to see people are so eager to do this i cant wait until we get sent on our mission and start our epic quest.

RP's where noone actually wants to post are the worst - still, especially for someone in another time-zone, these enthusiastic starts can be quite overwhelming.

that is true i understand where your coming from, im currently enrolled in school so im not always active throughout the day, and when i do get on its kind of overwhekming and sometimes it feels like i miss details

And I work and raise a 2 year old so I also don't always have time. Like others have said, the initial pace is intense but I imagine it'll settle out over time. That's the advantage to play by post. :) You can always scroll back.

I'm sitting in central europe - late afternoon over here.

No worries, sounds familiar - I only had about five years of french lessons back in school, and it's probably my all-time worst school subject.

Est myself, central Ontario Canada.

Well, Quebec border right now.

I love how I have gaming friends from across the world from me. This site really brings people together.

Well I was there for abit of work anyways, now moving back central.

Can't say i've really even been down to america, no real reason to head south tbh.

Given the news, I'm beginning to think Americans are more interested in tearing the country apart. Honestly, head north, don't head south...

Yeah, the current political climate of this country is toxic, no matter what side of the argument you want to take. Being a Canadian doesn't sound too bad some days.

Well, our prime minister may be a goober, and run his mouth abit in certain areas.. But it isn't to bad, though price of living is really high, and real estate os fucking outrageous...
