Ooh! Nice round numbers this level! Snowfall's grand totals are 240 (self) M.D.C., 300 P.P.E., and 110 Chi! Woo! 8D

EDIT: Fresh new pool of Bonus Points to use too! =)

Alright. Mostly leveled up. Up to 10 melee attacks per round, and a lovely +21 to strike with my boom gun.

Have no idea what to get with skills. She doesn't really need anything I can think of so I think I will save them up for something.

I can see you having an alternate weapon on either the shoulder or a pair of smaller weapons on the hips. You will not be able to fire it all at once, though. Give me some chance for the bad guys to live through a single attack from you.

A force field emitter is a viable option, too. Keeps you from having to fix your suit after every fight. Perhaps hooking in one of the Splurgoth talismans to it somehow... I'll think about that.
But I don't want to give the bad guys a chance. I want to tear through them like a Doomslayer in Hell.

Would I at least be able to fire both my shoulder guns at once? But i'd even be happy with just a single gun that does even more damage.

A force field would be convenient. Daisy doesn't normally take a lot of damage, though. But better safe than sorry.

However! I am happy with Daisy, so any upgrade you choose would be fun. Just piling onto her potency.

Sherwood Sherwood

From Snowfall's perspective, is Salnesh gone? Is there anything else they need to do to cement this or has everything been done? I'll spend a Bonus Point if necessary or whatever is needed for Snowfall to come to a sure and permanent solution.

Well, unless you guys have done something with it, the body is still down in the lower cavern, having been ripped apart by Juu.

What is your Demon and Monster Lore skill roll?

Snowfall's Lore: Demons and Monsters: 96% (before any Bonus Point roll which I'm willing to add if there are any negatives to the roll).

You mention Daisy leaving our group, but I am under the impression we are all still down there (we haven't even looted anybody yet).

While they wait, Terra will stand next to Maja and quietly chew on a piece of beef jerky, hoping that Daisy will not be facing any threat that she cannot handle on her own.

Psychie Psychie I don't know what Terra's thinking, but from one Player to another, thank you for not taking Terra through that anti-magic field. Having read up on Anti Magic Cloud (11th level spell), we are S.D.C. creatures if we don't make our (rather high) Saving Throw.

Okies, I see it. Your post came in like a minute after mine. I would rather Snowfall and Juu not leave Salnesh's pieces until after his meditative trance is completed and he's done everything he can (including disintegrating the body pieces with lightning) or whatever means Snowfall sees as necessary to seeing that Salnesh never returns.

Forgive me. I did post that it has been a little bit of time since the big fight, but was not exact on just how long.

Let us rewind a touch.

With your knowledge of demons and monsters, you know that a vampire in a similar state of being ripped apart can and will regenerate back to 100% in a matter of just a night's healing. Even with the head chopped off, it will dissipate to smoke and be reformed on the body unless both are chopped up and either burned with the ashes scattered, or totally immersed in running water.

Demons are not quite as resilient as a vampire, but there are many different kinds that can come back from this level of damage and be whole once more. In order to guarantee that it will not, the body must be fully dismembered, and the pieces burned in separate MDC level bonfires and have the ashes scattered.

Yikes. That is some serious amount of killing needed. Lets make sure that this baddie does not have the chance to come back and haunt us once more. Sorry, Sherwood, for taking away your villain.

We talking about the demon or the intelligence? Surely the intelligence can't come back. Had its own weight of wood pumped into it, surely at least one of the flechettes reached something important. On top of the super anti vamp critical effect of critical hits on the used to finish it off.

The demon, Salnesh.

I was just using the info on the vampires as an example of how hard something can be to kill permanently.

Excellent information, Sherwood! This is what I thought as a Player and I'm sure Snowfall (somewhere in my head) is even deeper into this solution. He's going to treat this like a ritual and do everything himself (and Juu) and triple-check that it is all done properly. Sherwood, do you want me to write up an in-game post to this effect?

1. Snowfall explaining all this.
2. Snowfall offering everyone to watch but not interfere.
3. Snowfall and Juu collecting Salnesh pieces, taking them outside the pyramid, burning them, and then using his Blazing Comet Tattoo power to scatter the ashes in Mach speed (scatter them as ashes have never been scattered before!)
4. Returning to the party and explaining to all, especially Eron, all that has been done.

Or, Sherwood, if you are more interested in getting into what Daisy is up to, we can just say this was all done? What's your preference, oh Game Master person?

Purr Purr

As a fun fact, Daisy has never really read anything beyond operator and mechanics manuals and Coalition approved children's books.

And is probably still on a children's grade reading level when it comes to literature.

Between Terra, Snowfall and Daisy's knowledge of the supernatural, and Eron's psychosis being so focused on Salnesh, it is a no-brainer to say that you guys take extra steps to make sure that Salnesh is totally dead and will not come back.

Sherwood Sherwood I have a question about my Kitsune and this anti-magic field?

In Mystic China, Fox Spirits are described as "supernatural creatures not even remotely human nor even really mortal. They can instantly shift from fox, to human, to a form of pure Positive Chi."

In all of his messenger-related adventures (or times as an adventurer), has Snowfall ever been in an anti-magic field/cloud/circus tent, etc.? What effect does it have on him?

I would presume that it would knock out all of his tattoo powers and active magical items (save for his rune weapon which is nerfed, but still indestructible and capable of doing M.D.)?

I'd like to know this because if Daisy finds something that's "above her pay grade" and we have to go in (where evidently even vampires and demons have feared to tread), what knowledge does Snowfall have that would be useful here? By understanding this, I think I can also imagine what will happen to everyone else in the party (save for perhaps Eron).

What you see is a small six-legged dragon that is curled up in the center of the room in a tight coil. I say 'small', but it is only in comparison to dragons like Zephiron. It is about the size of a small horse, and, from what you can tell from your time with Zeph, it is in intense pain. Its scales, while once a vibrant gold, now look dull and washed out, and the claws on the front feet are broken and bleeding slowly.

Raising its head, it looks at you with what is clear hate, but that changes to cautious curiosity. "You are not my normal tormentor. Who are you?"

Woo! If that's the creature that'll be teaching Snowfall how to create magic items, I'm all for it! Is that a Chiang-Ku dragon? The dragons that created Tattoo Magic?

Snowfall has been in Anti-Magic Fields before, and yes, it does wipe out your magical powers. This one seems to be an order of magnitude stronger, and will reduce you to an SDC being, and cause you actual damage that you can heal from once you are out of the AMF.

Oh. So... no Saving Throw?

Is Snowfall able to transform or does he revert to his spiritual (cloud) form by default or what?

No saving throw. This is a GM plot device.

You would not be able to transform at all in the area, being stuck in your physical form as you feel like you are being dipped in acid. Your cloud form would be torn apart even faster than your physical one.
