I feel I should point out Snowfall has only 6 Actions per Round and that was his 6th. Juu on the other hand (paw, fang, etc.) is only on his 3rd and I don't know how many he gets (but we may find out!).

Silanon Silanon I don't want to steal Eron's thunder by having Juu destroy Eron's nemesis, though it be perfectly in-character for them. If you want, I'll have Snowfall hold Juu off and let Eron get the killing blow, or should we just say to heck with that and splatter him? What is your preference?

Purr Purr Heya - thanks for asking! First instinct is to say that it doesn't actually matter, his reaction will be similar in either case; if anything, having the team get it done might have a few more benefits. Lemme think about that for a bit though =)

Since Juu is a summoned Hydra, it has 10 actions per round. All those extra heads help out.

That sounds like Eron should grow a few new heads, too. Might look a little weird, but hey - the things one does to keep evil at bay... where would one sign up for that?

I should have known the puns would be a'coming! =)

Let's see... how can I add to this? Or is this some kind of head-to-head competition? =)

"Mind!" "Head!" "Mind!" I see what you did there!

Tons of alerts this morning... half of them great posts, the other half stuff like... whatever I have just witnessed. You guys and gals are awesome.

A bit of thinking was done - don't think there's a reason why I'd want Eron to end the struggle in person. In fact, the opposite feels better to me. So by all means, go ham and get the bloody demon when you can, before he gets an idea how to escape again.

My pleasure! I will admit, good Sil - there is a part of me that was hoping you would say that. Guys like this have got to go. =)

Sherwood Sherwood Silanon Silanon
As he is being ripped into, Salnesh suddenly croaks out, "I yield! Mercy on me, I beg of you!"

Purr Purr is up with Juu, since Snowfall has run out of actions. I will say that if you choose to not have the hydra attack, that would not cost you anything to do so.

Snowfall would like to take one moment to slowly and silently look over to Eron long enough to make eye and get his reaction - all while keeping the demon in his field of view.

Sherwood, can this be done now without costing an Action?

All he needed was a nod or a shake of his head to determine all.

That's what he wants to say, but words are slow. So only the hand retreats instead. Hopefully, a clear enough gesture, right now. He has escaped justice too many times.

Silanon Silanon Hey you! While I'm certain my character would understand, I don't. Pulling his hand away from his sword? What is Eron saying with his body language?

Thanks for asking, lemme try to clarify this a bit. See, I didn't like the nodding /headshaking because I felt like both options can be interpreted both ways (head-shaking: 'no, don't do it' or 'no, don't wait for me', for example).

From Eron's point of view, Snowfall's hesitation reads as: "Are you coming to get Salnesh yourself, or shall I?" He doesn't consider any option that does not involve Salnesh's destruction, and would expect the same of Snowfall who previously showed familiarity with the demon. So in response to that unspoken question, he decides to not grab his sword and hurry forward, displaying eagerness to get it done himself - but instead stops in his action, pretty much saying "I don't even grab my sword yet, and I'm still all the way over here, so I won't be there anytime soon - get on with it, get it done."

Does that make some amount of sense? I feel like there's a better way to explain my thoughts, but it probably is a little too late for that over here. Lemme know if it makes no sense, and I'll try again tomorrow.

I confess that I was wondering the same thing as to Eron's reaction. Thank you for clarifying it for us.

Silanon Silanon it makes enough sense that I following now, thank you!

I will try to add more clues as to what Snowfall saying if it comes up again. Perhaps he should have raised his fist and pointed up or down with his thumb and nodded towards the demon when the question of his survival come up.

Knowing this, Snowfall will respond accordingly. =)

Can... can... we frame this?

With a low growl deep in its throats, Juu slowly advances before lashing out with a savage attack. It tears into the bound and helpless demon with a brutal series of bites that literally rips the demon in two! Salnesh is no more. The threat posed to the world by his evil is gone.

You know. Just put it up on a placard somewhere and gaze happily up on it when our Characters want a mood-lifter, bragging rights, or just a touch of irrefutable proof that we have put a little more into the Megaverse than we've taken?

Hooray! Salnesh is dead! 8D
