Realistic or Modern Retaliation

Sarah looked at Grey and narrowed her eyes slightly, amused from his question. She never pushed him off a tree, that she was sure of. Though, honestly, she wouldn't have been surprised if she had. She would have done it and probably thought it was funny. Sarah blinked looking at Benji then gaped at the term 'dragon dog' "Okay, Buster wasn't a dragon!" She fiddled with her hands, "He was just a little cranky..." She glanced at Grey, "Thanks for saving me by the way. Though, I don't remember why I needed it." Sarah laughed. Ash listened to the others banter while she focused on the ball. During a moment of silence she got the ball to move. She jumped excited, "I got it!" She grinned, gazing around at the others. "You guys are lucky by the way... I barely remember anything about some of the people here. I was too young." She stuck her tongue out, then looked at the ball again.

Lexi Montreal

She shakes her head slightly when he started to apologize and grabs a hold of his hand, letting him help her up. "Thanks." She says with a small nod and smile. She leaned down to pick her phone up, inspecting it. Not that she needed to. She could easily get it repaired or buy a new one. She slipped her phone back into her bag and looked back at Quentin, "When did you get here? I didn't see you before." She says as examines him. I mean, she couldn't help it. He definitely changed, in a good way that is.

Ace

Helpful, huh? ''Well, I'm not the finest and most dandy kid around here, but, I wouldn't be using them if I couldn't spend a night with smoke in my mouth. I feel the same effect, of bliss, relaxation, but, maybe I'm different?'' he said, shortly after she asked for their use, Ace felt comfortable using them, and if it was that way, he sure loved using them. He never really had gotten so close with this girl, Ingrid, after all, they barely even touched at times, a bit of physical contact and discussion with her was confusing, since he really didn't know what to say next and what not.

"Sure no problem" Grey responded trying to clarify the scene in his head. "Buster was a dragon dog! You two made him the dragon dog! And I was the wizard who locked you two up in the tree house because you stole my licorice" Benji said slightly glaring at Sarah and Grey. Grey was too captivated at the whole tech experience to dwell on the past. Grey's eyes widened when Ash moved the ball. His gaze shifted to Benji, "You're a kid genius aren't you?" Benji smiled in response then exclaimed with a slightly grumpy expression, "I am the victim of a licorice kidnapping!" Grey looked over at Ash, "I'm sure Benji or Sarah might remember something about you".

Brec looked at him the real smile forming on her face again. When he passed her the joint she shook her head declining it and went back to drinking her champagne. "I've been good...and I always look great so don't even start..." She told him a smirk forming on her face before scooting over and patting the spot next to her. "Don't be scared to sit next to me...I don't bite...most of the time..." She said putting her phone away and looked at him laying her arm on the back of the outdoor chair and smiles again. "So...you've been boxing still...that's nice...anything else new?" She asked him before she saw Tris enter and smiled getting up hugging her. "Hi Tris so good to see you..." She told her before going to sit back down in her chair. "I was just talking to Cam until you entered...so how have you been?" She asked her look right at Tris with big purple eyes.

Sarah found herself giggling as Benji recalled the memory, "Oh yeah! I remember! Oh that day was hilarious!" She smiled at Grey again then looked at the ball. It truly was fascinating the way it worked, but Sarah didn't understand any of it. She grinned amused at Grey and Benji's banter then looked at Ash. Grey said she might have some memories on her. Sarah did, but didn't care to acknowledge it. "I don't, sorry." Ash shrugged. "It's fine." Ash glanced at Benji and Grey. "Guys, I'll be right back!" Sarah said.

Sarah
stood up then began to head out the room, and down the stairs. She was heading to get a snack, but then she saw Hunter. He was in the living room where the drinking was going on, but Sarah really wanted to talk to him. She walked over to him, and ruffled his hair, "Hunter! It's been a while!" She exclaimed at him, smiling, then flopped down beside him on the couch. @ShatteredSoul

His attention turned to a voice he hadn't heard in quite some time; Tris Callahan's very own. While they weren't the closest of friends, they still had known each other for quite some time. With a small smile, Cameron got up to his feet, pulling the girl into a brief hug before scooting into the seat right next to Breckenridge. It was a little bit tight, but that was the way that Cameron liked it. Hue. He physically lifted the girl's arm from behind his back, placing it into her lap. Then that very same arm found itself wrapped around Breckenridge's side of the two-seater chair. Eyes remained fixated on Tris, as he cocked his head to the side. "You of all people should know to excuse B's behavior." He rolled his eyes once, before winking. The smile was still plastered on his face.

Then he responded to the girl he was sitting beside. He had not ignored her comment about looking good - she was a woman. If she was denying the fact that she wanted to hear it, then she was lying. Simple as that.
"I took over the basement of my parents house after my mom begged my ass to stay. It's like having my own pad. I should have you guys check it out sometime..." Placing the bottle of alcohol between his lets, he used his right hand to stroke his chin as he pondered to himself the consequences of throwing a banger in his neighborhood.

Quentin

He couldn't help but smile a little as he watched Lexi scan him up and down. "Me and Hunter were actually the first ones to come here. I just stayed in the corner for a while, is all. That's probably why you didn't see me." He explained, then paused. "What made you come down here anyway? All the others are in the living room, I think." he scratched the back of his head, looking at Lexi. @Kylie Lions

Ingrid

Ingrid took the e-cig in her hand, studying it. "That's good enough, I guess." She told him. To be honest, she wasn't sure if she even wanted to quit. But he seemed honest with his opinion, so she shrugged it off. Ingrid hoisted herself up from the water, then walked to the other side of the yard to get a fresh towel. Wrapping the towel around her body, she walked towards Ace, then paused. Ingrid didn't really know much about the guy, except for the fact that he was very much like his brothers, and that he hung out with Violet a lot. Tugging the towel close around her body, she picked up the beer and the bundle of clothes she left earlier from the floor, then took a seat across Ace. She looked down as her fingers played with the rim of the bottle. "Can I ask you a personal question?" @Sugar

Lexi Montreal

"Oh jeez, now I feel bad for not noticing you before." She mumbles when he says this, a small frown appearing on her face as she tries to recall the time she was sat on her own on the couch, just staring into space. "Sorry." She says sheepishly as she runs a hand through her hair before adding on, "A couple went to Benji's room 'cause he's showing them some of his tech stuff and the rest are outside either drinking or smoking." Lexi says with a small shrug, "Not really my crowd." She lets out a small laugh, looking back at him.

Quentin

"No, no, you're fine. It's fine," he told her reassuringly when she started apologizing. "And yeah, I don't really feel like doing what the rest are either." Quentin said, then in a lower voice, he muttered to hinself, "For some reason anyway." He looked back up at her with what he hoped was a friendly smile on his face. "Can I walk with you, by the way?" @Kylie Lions

Ace

Ace shrugged at her response, biting his lip a bit, he had no idea of what this girl's pasts was and why it was messed up, of course, in case it was, since she needs cigarettes to relieve nerves, then, his short concentration and tought was interrupted by the girl getting out of the water. Yeah, you imagine what Ace was staring at, he's a man after all, and that girl didn't have any exceptions to not have him looking, then, he scooted over to let her sit beside him, quickly snapping out of it and looking forward, then glancing back to the girl that was sitting beside. "Can I ask you a personal question?", she said, as she was playing in some sort of way with the bottle. He could feel his adam's apple sink trough his troath, looking quickly back up from her hands and staring deeply at her, his brown and blue eyes flickering when he made eye contact.
''Yes, sure, what is it?''

Lexi Moreal

She smiles at him and nods, "Yeah, why not?" She says happily, now that she had someone's company. "I was just exploring the house really. Haven't been in here for a while and it's bloody huge." She mumbles as she looks around before looking back at him, "Come on then." She links her arm through his and starts walking. "How is everything going for you?"

"Breaking News!" Benji's television sounded. The young teen didn't bother to look over his shoulder and instead took out another gadget and unscrewed its cap, "Auto record". Grey however was interested. It probably had something to do with one of the local crews. That was it about 85% of the time. A car chase was taking place down Pacific Coast Highway about 20 miles away from the Parker residence. Apparently the criminals were armed. Grey watched as an arm reached out of the suspects car to shoot one of the cop car's windows. Benji took up two wires with his pliers, "I'm actually almost done with this-". "Breaking News!" One of Benji's computer monitors flashed on automatically changing to Channel 5. This caused Benji to jump up in his seat, "Ah! Oh my bad. That's odd. My devices are only programmed to do that when separate breaking news scenarios-". "Breaking news!" Benji's second monitor flashed on making him back up in his seat. "AUTO RECORD! What the heck is going on?" The young teen looked at Ash and Grey.

Grey was too distracted by the channel 7 news that had been going on. It was a nice car chase. All the guys did was steal money from a bank though. "$5 million . . . " The television host announced after adding that that same crew had people burn down a section of some kind of national forest, "Sequoia National Park".

"THE AMBASSADOR OF IRAN! No! Are these guys trying to make us go to war?!" Benji exclaimed focused on his second monitor. "Suspects Greyson Jethro Callahan and . . ." The reporter announced.

"What?! HOLD ON! PAUSE!" Greyson yelled pausing all the news channels. "Did I just hear my name? Which one just said my name?" He asked looking at Benji and Ash.

Brec looked over at Cameron then saw where his was at but didn't mind at all. She heard him talk about how his mom didn't want him to leave the house so he decided to live in the basement. He then suggested they all come over and check it out to which Brec replied. "I wouldn't mind seeing what you have done with the place...I probably has all boxing equipment and even a boxing ring in there..." She told him smiling then reached over grabbing the Hennessy in between Cam's legs and pouring some in her glass before putting it back in it's spot. She chugged her glass down the sighed smiling to herself then looked at Cam. "You should let me fight you...I think it would be fun...unless...you're scared of fighting a girl...then I'll go easy on you..." Brec said smirking as a little joke.

Hunter Jameson

Hunter was just popping the top off his beer when he heard a familiar bubbly voice behind him and felt a soft hand rummaging through his already messy hair. He grinned happily as Sarah Montreal plopped down on the spot next to him, glowing with beauty. He took an extra moment to look her over, eagerly devouring the sight of her right next to him. "Sarah Montreal." He cocked his head to the side ever so slightly, giving her one more scan with his eyes. "Still gorgeous as ever I see." His eyes sparkled with interest as he casually scooted closer to her.

Tris Callahan

Tris was expecting maybe a formal handshake or something from Cameron as he stood up to embrace her, but to her surprise he wrapped his arms around her in a satisfying hug. Out of all the hugs she was about to receive tonight, Tris was willing to bet that one with Cameron was going to be the least awkward. Sure they'd been decent friends when they were younger but Tris didn't know if he would remember or not. It was nice to at least have one friendly face here. So far, so good.

The corners of Tris's mouth tugged up into a small grin as Cameron commented about Brec's behavior. Tris had known Brec for a long time too. She was one of the few people that Tris actually liked hanging out with as a kid. "Trust me," she started, her eyes changing from Cameron's to Brec's. "I know all about Brec's behavior. Did you know that one time when we were little she flat out punched a guy for trying to flirt with her?" Tris nearly laughed recalling the memory. "I wouldn't get so close if I were you Mr. I'm-A-Professional Fighter-That-Lives-In-My-Parents-Basement. I'm sure Brec could give you a run for your money."

Tris half-smirked at Cameron as she turned to Brec. "I've been... Busy." It was a polite tone, but the intended phrase came out a lot more blunt than she had anticipated. Tris wasn't really in the mood to launch into her depressing life. "Still running though, just not through school competitions." She added, shifting her weight to her left hip.

Ingrid

Ingrid found herself looking into his eyes, getting a bit lost in a sea of brown and blue. She licked her lips, pausing before she spoke, "What's your story?" she knew her question was a tad bit personal, but that was the reason why she asked her previous question after all. Also, she was bursting with curiosity. Ace was unknown territory to her, and she was willing to find out why he was the way he was.

Quentin

Quentin grinned at the girl. "It is bloody huge, isn't it?" To her question he replied, "Well, things are okay with me as of the moment." he said as she linked her arm with his. Just then, they turned the corner and to his surprise, his brother and Sarah was there. He grinned. "Getting comfortable, are you brother?"

Ash had taken off the headband and gently set it down next to the mat on Benji's desk. She looked up at the television when she heard the words breaking news and frowned slightly. Grey set it to auto record. She watched the car chase for a minute but soon turned back to Benji, fascinated by his gadgets. Suddenly, another screen went off. Aslynn frowned again, "Two breaking news...?" She barely had time to finish that question, when a third one went off. She looked at the others with wide eyes, confused and concerned. She tried to get bits and pieces from all of them. The car chase was still going on, something about Iran and war, and the last... The last spoke Greyson's name. Ash's stomach sank, as Grey shouted pause, and all the voices coming off the screens froze. Ash looked at Grey and pointed to the monitor that had spoken his name. She muttered, "That one... You're a... A suspect? For what?" She asked him, suddenly wondering if she was in the room with a criminal.

Sarah grinned at Hunter, feeling his eyes scan over her. She put a hand to her heart in a flirting manner, "Oh, Hunter, you're too kind. Thank you." She smiled and kissed his cheek. "How are you? I've missed you." She eyed the beer in his hand momentarily, disapprovingly. It was only visible for a moment, before she hid it and smiled at him looking into his eyes. He, was also looking quite fine. That was to be expected. It was Hunter after all. Such a charming person. Sarah's grin grew from the thought.

Lexi Montreal

She laughed and nodded her head in agreement, "Yeah. It is." She murmurs as she looks around before looking back at him. "And that's good to know." She smiles and looks forward as they turn the corner, spotting Hunter and Sarah. Lexi's eyebrow rises slightly as she sees the two.. flirting? 'Everyone seems to be getting along just fine here.' She thought to herself. "Hey Sarah." Lexi smiles at her, giving her a wave before looking at Hunter, "Hey Hunter. Long time no see."

Ace

"What's your story?", those words carved in his mind, trying to remember all the shit he's gone trough.
''I've killed men for money, backstabbed my friends, abandoned my family for some time, robbed a few stores, I'm a drug smuggler, and more stuff. I'm not proud of myself, but I learn each time something happens.'' he said, in a lower tone than usual, staring at the floor. Ace pondered on what he had done, something nto many people would expect from him, yet he had done it. He slowly got up his glance, staring deeply at her eyes, biting his lip. ''Do I look messed up to you?''

Shaking his head slightly, Cameron brought the thumb of his right hand up to his nose, and pressed it against his nostril. Sliding it off quickly, the same hand then grasped the bottle of alcohol and brought it to his lips before he spoke once more. At this point, the joint which was once burning just fine had gone out. The butt was placed in his lap before the swig of Hennessey. "I wouldn't mind showin' ya some pointers." Of course, that came off just as cliche-sounding as it could have. The thought of which caused Cameron to smile, as he listened to Tris speak. "No kiddin'. She's already socked me, and I ain't been here an hour yet." A light joke, before Cameron continued listening to Tris speak. "It's good you're still runnin'. You should keep that up, it's good for ya." Cameron didn't need to preach to the choir, though he was certainly doing so.

True. Cameron was still living with his parents, and perhaps his aspirations to be a fighter might have seemed strange from the outside looking in. Cameron would be the last one laughing when he made his debut, and won with a knockout. Something which he had to be sure would be reminiscent of his entire career. If he made a statement with his first fight and took down the best on his way to a title, then he would be considered an undeniable force.

Ingrid

Ingrid couldn't help but be a little taken aback by what he said, but she couldn't help but feel sorry for him either. "Hey," she said, looking directly into his eyes, "You're fine. What's messed up is the fact that these things happen to people like us." she said, and slowly, she reached for his hand and squeezed it reassuringly. "You're not messed up," she said, and repeated, "You're fine."

Quentin

He raised his eyebrows at them so much he almost thought they'd come off his face. "Easy there you two. Keep it PG," he chuckled. Quentin took a seat and made space for Lexi beside him.

Brec laughed when Tris talked about when a guy started to flirt with her (Brec). It was a funny memory to bring up...the guy was an idiot and was awful at flirting. Brec was getting annoyed at him trying to use almost every flirty comment in the book. It really pissed her off when he grabbed her ass. That was a big no for her and right at that moment her fist connected with his face hard enough to make his nose bleed and to knock him out. "Tris isn't lying...I basically knocked him out with one punch...he was awful at flirting and he grabbed my ass which should automatically be a punch in the face no matter how strong the girl is..." She told Cameron before looking back at Tris. She heard her start talking about how she still ran just not in school competitions anymore and that was fine. She knew Tris was getting sick and tired of it, the yelling the work harder to win, she just wanted to run cause she liked it and Brec was behind supporting her all the time. Brec looked back at Cameron when he said he could show her some pointers in the ring, she smiled thinking about it "I can't wait...how bout tomorrow...sound good?" She asked him.

Lexi Montreal

Lexi took a seat next to Quentin and rested into it, letting out a small sigh. "Today has definitely been a long day." She murmurs as she stretches her legs, "Where is everyone? Wasn't this meant to be a reunion yet we've all just gone off into our own little groups." She says as she looks around the room, laughing a bit. "I haven't met everyone yet and I want too so that I can take pictures for my new scrapbook." She holds her camera up.

Sarah was looking into Hunter's sparkling eyes, when she heard his brother, Quentin approach. She gaped slightly from his words then shrugged it off. It wasn't like they were actually doing anything personal or private. She laughed softly, "Hi Quentin, long time no see." Then suddenly her sister approached. This was where Sarah got the slightest bit uncomfortable. They were killing the mood. She sighed when Quentin sat and cast a small wave back at Lexi. Sarah recalled the main reason she came down in the first place. To get a snack... She looked at Hunter and whispered in his ear, "We'll have to talk more later, alright? I really have missed you." She kissed his cheek lightly again, then stood up, going to the kitchen.

Ace

He felt her grab his hand, feeling a tight squeeze. This feeling wasn't present when hanging out with his female friends, dating on of those trash girls, he actually felt like someone cared for him, or, so it appeared. Ace flipped his hand, grabbing hers in exchange, pulling her close and hugging her tightly. Ace did the best he could to feel emotional, at least shed a tear, but, his body didn't let him. Yeah, Ace was a junkie, an asshole, a stuck-uped guy, but, those things don't appear from one day to another, they're scars, emotional ones, and those don't heal. He hugged her even tighter, resting his head on her neck.
''Thank you Ingrid.''
