Futuristic Reconstruction

Zhi screamed when Jacob hit him with the butt of his knife on his wound and tackled him. In retaliation Zhi grabbed Jacob by the neck and flipped himself so he was on top of Jacob, and started chocking him.

"You could have just let me run off, you could have avoided this whole thing," Zhi growled.

Meredith drew a deep breath, her still unsheathed sword suddenly at Zhi's throat, digging it in and cutting him slightly.

"Let. Jacob. Go. Now." She growled. "And beleive me, I will."

Zhi glowered at the girl, , keeping Jacob in his grasp despite his struggles and the tip of her sword drawing a bit of blood, making beads of the scarlet liquid splatter toward the ground. His foot was also still throbbing, the pain traveling up from his foot to his leg.

"Tch, like you would kill me. You'd become a first class murderer in the eye of the Chinese government,"Zhi informed her."Just let me go, let me take the gun, water, and some food, and none of you will die."

(going to bed, see ya guys)

Meredith's lip curled.

"You just don't like the tables being turned, do you? I would kill you in a heartbeat. You should know that." She snarled. "I will kill you if you don't get the hell off of Jacob!" She dug the sword in a little farther. "...I would advise listening to me." She said, more calmly this time. It was, needless to say, very, very forced.

Zhi snarled at the girl, the sword digging even further into his neck, making even more blood trickle out of the wound. D*** this whole thing is falling apart, how can I get out of this mess? I'm clearly at a disadvantage, I have a sword at my throat, but under my hands is another person...however again a sword is at my throat, any sudden movement and my throat will be torn...that leaves only one option, swallowing my pride and giving in, for now.Taking a deep breath Zhi let go of Jacob, his foot was throbbing and his neck was smeared with blood.

"I doubt you could, but since I'm at a clear disadvantage I'll spare Jacob. My life is in your hands; however that is a double edged sword. Let me bleed out and all of you will be first class criminals in the eyes of the Chinese government and will be persecuted, you're DNA is practically crawling all over my body, let me live and I will see to it that you will be heavily compensated, which is a blessing considering I could not pay you and just end my life now, just to have all of you suffer..."

Jacob got up, rubbing his throat. "Coming with us." He told Zhi,and if he could've seen through the mask, the glare would probably kill.

Meredith turned back toward the forest.

"I'm going for a walk. For real, this time. I'll be back soon." She dissapeared into the forest.

Zhi watched Meredith turn and walk away, a new found hatred blooming for the girl, Jacob, and Erika. Now getting dragged back to the camp by Jacob Zhi went through his options. I could try to escape again, but that has a 95% chance of failing and having me critically wounded, even more so than I already am. I guess my other option is to force myself to follow their orders and grovel at their feet, like a lowly peasant...that is until I come into contact with my alliances. Once they come, I’ll have them shoot those filthy rodents down. Though Jacob and the gang will probably have their guard up and have me at gunpoint I could set something up with my alliances, I have a few code words that will alert them of my position.

"Sit." Jacob told Zhi as he went to get his medkit. He opened it up, and got to work cleaning and bandaging the wound.

Zhi did what he was told and sat while Zhi busied himself with treating his foot wound. As humiliating as this was Zhi let himself be patched up by Jacob. By now Zhi was seething but his composure was calm and unreadable like always.

Jacob finished up with Zhi, before looking at his shoulder. It had gotten through the joint, and the bullet need to be pulled out. Jacob got to work and got his tweezers, putting it in the hole before taking the out, the bullet held between it. He got his medkit and walked to a different area, before taking off his armor and suit to work on patching it up.

Meredith walked straight until she figured she was far enough into the forest. She took her cloak off. Her arms were adorned with thick scars, and there was a stiff bandage - really a peice of cloth - covering one of her wounds. She took the bandage off. The cut underneath was almost healed. Sighing, she unsheathed her sword, drawing a thick line on her arm. It bled immediately, and she felt her head begin to clear. She wrapped the bandge around it, taking a cigerette out of her pocket as well as her lighter. She lit up, smoking the cigerette almost until it burned her. She crushed the butt underneath her foot, walking back toward the camp. Her left arm felt stiff, as it always did after she cut. She walked the way to camp, walking out of the forest, she sheathed her sword. She saw a man she didn't requegnize before she realized that it must've been Jacob.

"How's everything going?" She asked him.

Jacob looked up, before putting away the rest of the bandages and getting his suit on, then his armor. He ignored Meredith's comment, walking back to camp.

"...Friendly." Meredith muttered to herself, following Jacob. She caught sight of Zhi and she forced her expression to remain neutral, though she couldn't stop herself watching him.

Jacob sat down, taking out a book before looking up. "You." He pointed at Meredith. "Be nice. You." He pointed at Zhi. "Be nice." He told them, before starting to read.

Jacob nodded, flipping his page before putting the book down and reaching into his backpack. He brought out a laptop, and powered it on.

Once his foot was patched up Jacob left and worked on his own wound. Sure Zhi could run now, but he was injured. had no supplies, and Jacob wasn't that far away. Looking at the surrounding area Zhi saw Meredith watching him, with cold eyes and than Jacob of course had to to scold them like they were children. I can't wait to see them burn, to see them crumple to the ground like ragdolls...

"Ya right, you brooding b***" Zhi spat, to spite her. Truthfully Zhi wanted her to get angry, as he had another plan up his sleeve.

Jacob looked up, before setting the laptop down, walking over to Zhi, and punching him in the gut. "Come." He dragged Zhi away to where he was sitting, and put him on the ground. "Not a word."

Meredith eyes blazed.

"What... did you just say to me?" She asked quietly. There was no intentional threat in her words, but the way she came across wasn't good. "I'm not the one that tried to blow a sleeping person's brains out, thank you."
