Fantasy Rebirth of Camelot[Temporarily Open]

Iskandar

Existing.
Camelot has fallen, conquered by outside forces so strong that not even the Legendary King Arthur and Excalibur could fend off this horde. They arrived suddenly and tore down the high walls of Camelot. Pillaged the city and desecrated the Palace. The Knights of the Round Table tried their best to hold off this enemy, but slowly they all fell in battle, or betrayed their King.

Galahad is the sole survivor of the invasion that did not abandon Arthur and switch sides. Merlin is presumed to be alive, but went missing right before the invasion. Lancelot, Bedivere, Tristan, Percival, Kay, Lamorak all perished while defending their King. Mordred joined the invaders and corrupted Sir Bors, Gaheris, Palamedes and even Gawain. Gareth and Geraint are presumed dead, but could possibly be alive.

Galahad must reform the Knights of the Round Table and retake Camelot. Mordred acts as Regent of the City, but is a mere puppet to the invaders. Galahad must hunt down those that destroyed his Kingdom and his King. Who knows where or... when, these invaders are from, but in due time the truth will come to light.

Now the remnants of Arthur's army led by Galahad converge on the ancient Roman fort of Camboglanna, near Adrian's Wall. Here a group of unlikely... knights, if you can call some of them that, also meet. This unlikely bunch will reform the Knights of the Round Table under Galahad. Here they will also meet three very unlikely allies that wish to aid Galahad and push back the invaders...

Camboglanna, Briton.
March June 3rd, 577 A.D.

Galahad was in the War Room of Camboglanna where a massive and circular table resided. There he sat in one of the seats, along with four other men. These men were not of this era, but for some reason where in it. They all sought out Galahad and his army, pledging themselves to help push back Mordred and more importantly the Invaders. Though five men could not do this alone, and five men could not make up The Knights of the Round Table. Thus Galahad had searched for other suitable members to join, which he did. He found thirteen members to be exact, and while many were not your typical knight Galahad had no room to be picky about his selections.

The first member and first seat of this reformed Knights of the Round Table was Sir Alexandria, Galahad's daughter and former apprentice turned partner. She was a famous knight that had managed to survive the Battle of Camelot with her father. Alexandria stood behind the seated Galahad, "I am honored to be a member of the Knights of the Round Table, but I only wish it could be under better circumstances. Plus are any of these people suited to be here...?"

"Desperate times call for desperate measures, Alexandria. I put out a call to arms against Mordred, but we got fewer people than I expect. I maybe popular and looked up to, but I am only one man." Galahad explained to his daughter, "The people need something more to give them hope and give them a reason to fight against the King of Treachery. That is why I reformed the Knights of the Round Table." The man let out a sigh and looked back at his daughter, "Granted many of these people are not truly suitable for being in this Order, but you could say the same about the last one too." He chuckled before looking around the room, "The only reason any one would join me is because they dislike Mordred and these invanders. Under other circumstances I doubt I would be able to reform the Round Table."

"Galahad, do you truly think that reforming the Round Table will surge recruitment?" One of the four men asked with a pessimistic tone. For the time being we will call him Man One.

"I think it is a brilliant plan. What better way to combat the evil Mordred than with a new Round Table!" Man Two said with a much more optimistic tone. Man Three and Four merely remained silent with crossed arms or disinterested looks.

"We will have to see." Galahad shrugged and looked at the door that was directly across from him, "These men and women maybe our last hope against Mordred." At any moment the other members of this newly formed Knights of the Round Table would show up...

(This is the part where you make a very flashy entrance.)

How many days passed since last time he'd step foot within castle walls? How long has it been since stone surrounded him and men called? Through sought revenge his ears rang with hollow steps, hushed whispers, loud words filling the halls. Via risk filled actions did he enter such places.... Only through personal quests did he go beyond his comfort zones and favored places, villages and forests with beautiful springs. Free spaces where his horse could roam and his mind find peace. Words kept silent except when filling the air with phrases spoken softly but clearly like a flowing stream that echoed through out the trees yet was gentle as could be.

The days of peace and comfort placed between actions of justice and revenge, of the great hunt yet be completed...... were now over for the time being. Taliesin was no saint, in the eyes of those religious he was a tainted soul, undesired and opinions preferred silent and kept to himself before poisoning the minds of their children and brining questions were none had been raised. Finding him part of this round table of holy knights, of godly fearing men and righteousness through and through, he did not fit nor was he even considered in normal times. But the picky can't be choosers and Taliesin could not bring down a formidable, ruling army such as Mordeds invaders. No. whether or not it was accepted by all, men such as Taliesin lived and agreed to aid those normally considered his better, seen as pure of heart and mind.

Wicked days had passed, horrific nights endured as one slept. The lives of the many were greater then the thoughts of one. Times of great need had come, Taliesin would answer this call and ride for Camboglanna to join up with the others of this round table and convene under one banner for the greater good of all. On this day, marching toward stronghold on the 3rd of June, 577th AD, Taliesin has arrived upon the castle gates, strode atop his horse, wintersbreath, across the bridge and through into the city beyond its walls, his horse appearing strong but light with a black as night mane upon its sun seen brown with a white patch upon her face.

Taking in each stride until dismounting his horse and leaving her by the doors of lower entrance into the war room sector of Camboglanna. Quietly entering with stiff brow and quieted, firm lip walking toward the room of council and letting his steps be heard by echoe through stone halls and hollow feel of the strip as he approached the doors, took his pause with hands reaching for the doors surface before finally pushing them open with purpose in force, in mind. Hearing just enough of those talking as he did, thinking plenty of it all yet keeping silent for the moment.

Giving each man, women and noble knight a glance from his eyes, hardened green gems piercing yet distant unallowing for signs of gentle, soft gaze. Clearly not looking for the approval of those thinking themselves superior then he simply for his class in society, where he derives, what believes and how his kind lived. No!

The days of his mothers teachings, the time for his villages way has come to a end. Years have gone by and said times were most certainly over for him. Despite the cause, he still had second thoughts of joining these men and women. He knew how they'd see him, he has experienced it all before, but those be damned that dare cross his bow or test his sword! This was Taliesin Von'Rossum and he'd see this through.

Somewhere close to fort Camboglanna, humming could be heard from a small stream "Walking out from Cheapside,my fortunes for to seek" Sir Bran was taking a quick bath before he would head on to fort Camboglanna, he slowly got out of the water starting to cloth himself. "I passed along the river Thomas, its water's did they reek" He was sent to deal with some bandits that where making farmers lives a lot harder, half way back to Camelot he revived a letter stating that Camelot had fallen also that Sir Galahad himself was leading the resistance. "Twas there I met a pretty lass" He still wasn't sure if he believes that but he swore a oath to always respond when summoned. "She said her name was Neil..."

He looked over to his equipment, now clothed with his gambeson on, thinking how am I going to make a entrance here. I could maybe drop down from the ceiling, perhaps come in though the window. He looked again over to his raven cloak and mask "Hmmm, to much?" He pondered out loud. He had only ever met Sir Galahad once when he was a boy, maybe he needed to show his new skills put on a bit of a show for the old knight. Maybe try to shoot him and see if the old knight still had any fight left in him. Or perhaps, the best way to make a entrance was to make no entrance at all, simply walk in then take a seat. He decided in the end to put on his raven mask and cloak, he wouldn't want anything to think he was anyone but himself.

''Well I'll decide when I get there" He couldn't help but smile a little, thinking about all the fun him and the rest of the New Knights of the Round table where going to have, this was going to be his first time with any knight who wasn't Sir Gawain. He put his bow and quiver onto his back, picked up his fiddle case moving forward to the fort, singing to himself quietly. When he reached the fort he saw the guards all patrolling around he though to himself, I wonder if they'ed let me take a nap here before this whole thing got started. He walked into the fort and imminently leaded up against a wall no one would see. He closed his eyes, its still early plenty of time to rest till everyone gets here. He wanted to make sure everyone would be here to see his grand entrance.

Due to the corruption and destruction of the Knights of the Round Table, Crown Princess Lillian feared the worst. Only her Father's Friend, Galahad survived the Battle of Camelot, while her Father perished, his sword lost and his friends, Bors, Gaheris, Palamedes and Gawain, all betraying him, most likely even killing him as they turned against the kingdom they had once fought for. It was only a matter of time that she was next. With her Father dead and her Brother missing, the young Princess was scared, confused and didn't know what to do. But there was one goal that she now had, reclaiming her Kingdom. Sadly, much of Camelot's Armies were decimated. She was lucky to have escaped with her life and along with a few Knights assigned to defending her.

Despite being able to look after herself and being an excellent archer in her own right, Lillian was with child. She was seven months along in her pregnancy and midwives have predicted a boy. In this condition, she was most likely going to have to seek sanctuary. The battlefield was no place for a pregnant woman. One strike to her stomach and her child would be lost, something that she could not afford, especially since she was bearing a son. Her Family Line was not going to die, not here...Not now. For now, she was going to meet up with Galahad, who was rebuilding and recruiting to rebuild the Knights of the Round. The Princess herself was going to see how things were and possibly offer her assistance to Galahad in any way she could despite her current condition.

It didn't take long for the Princess to arrive in Canboglanna, where Sir Galahad was to meet with the new recruits. Upon entering the Fort, she was met by Sir Galahad and his Daughter, whom Lillian considered a good friend despite their age gap. "Sir Galahad, Lady Alexandria. It is good to see you again. I only wish we could reunite under better circumstances." She greeted them upon entry before looking over at the first arrival. After straightening out her dress, she shifted her cloak to reveal her swollen stomach. As she cradled it, she went over to the side with her guards to observe the incoming recruits.

Despite wanting to stay inside his comfortable home, that was covered in books and potions, Bentonvelt was immediately kicked out of his house by the villagers. They said they were 'happy' for him, and he agreed that they were happy for themselves. The villagers were so happy that they spent enough money to get him an escort to go to Camboglanna. If he knew any better they would barge into her house to regain the amount of money they spent, but that was another thing to worry about. In all honesty he didn't know much about them except for their accomplishments.

Upon arriving at Camboglanna, his black concealed the majority of the other clothes and skin that would of been revealed. The only part that was visible was his mouth which was mainly expressionless. Though the guards were rather suspicious of him they let him inside the fort. The fort itself, was massive compared to Bentonvelt's house which was not surprising. There wasn't much else to look inside the fort that interested him. Plant life can't live inside here, and books weren't currently available to him at the moment. Meeting the knights wasn't his main priority right now as he walked aimlessly.

Thoughts came in, and out as he walked the halls. His first thoughts were about his family. It was quite the enigma on what would they be doing right now, since he never saw them doing any type of duty. His other thoughts were all about medicines of all kinds. Then the shocking realization had hit him. What was he going to do without any of his medical equipment? They kicked him out too fast for him to pack up his things. In the end he was so shock that he walked passed the door that he was suppose to enter, making it look like a strange cloaked man just passed by the door.

Galahad merely smiled and looked at Taliesin as he was the first man to arrive. Alexandria remained motionless as only her eyes moved. They were stuck on Taliesin and watched his every move before looking away and down at Galahad, "And so the first has arrived. Welcome Sir Talisien." Galahad was still smiling, his mustache slightly straightened with the curling of his lips. Taliesin: A man of common birth with a difficult past. If one word were to describe him it would be vengeance. He was the Knight of Vengeance. A deadly bowman that had made his name well known.

Surprisingly enough though Crown Princess Lillian was to be apart of this Round Table. Not for her being the next ruler of Camelot, but for her abilities with a bow. She was one of the nation's best, and even with child she was far better than your standard archer. Of course with her being pregnant, she would have to stay on the sidelines and offer moral support for the other members. Galahad was to inform Lillian of his decision to include Lillian as a member of the Round Table, but could not send a messenger to her without risking his other plans.

"Ah, Princess Lillian." Alexandria slightly bowed at the arrival of Lillian, though Galahad merely offered a nod and remained seated. Lillian was a very dear friend, and probably the only lady friend that the Knight had. The two got along well enough and usually saw each other due to well obvious circumstances.

"Good to see you, my dear. I am glad you are well." Galahad said politely. Lillian was practically his niece at this point and considered her more like family than just the daughter of one of his friends. Galahad couldn't help but smile every time he saw Lillian and offered her a toothy one, "I am glad you and your babe are safe. I hope that once you give birth and heal you'll be able to officially join the Knights of the Round Table."

Alexandria was shocked as her father gave Lillian a tall task, "A-Are you sure that is wise? Having Lillian return to combat after giving birth is quite a lot to ask for..."

Galahad remained silent, almost as if he was waiting for something to happen and something did happen, "Alexandria. Please step outside and inform the young lass that just passed the door to come in. Thank you."

Alexandria raised an eyebrow at her father before walking around half of the Round Table and to the large wooden door. She opened it and it creaked slightly before Alexandria popped her head out and looked from left to right and right to left. There was a cloaked figure that was walking away from the door, "Oi. You. You passed the door you were supposed to enter. Could you please get to your destination a bit better?" Alexandria smirked before opening the door as wide as possible, making sure that no one made the same mistake this cloaked figure did. Alexandria turned around and walked back to Galahad, retaking her place behind him.

"And so the second and third have arrived." Man one said in a dry tone as he leaned back in his chair, paying little attention to any specific person.

The moment his feet carried him inside with each step forward Taliesin thought. Looking over each of those present whether they be man or woman, he pondered something about each of them, small details, little importance and nothing with proof. But the perhaps most surprising was a woman baring child in stomach... surely she wasn't fighting? The odds of losing her child, the target upon her stomach and what grief it would bring should she even live through it was horrific and unbelievable to the eyes and mind. No. they couldn't be that desperate surely?

And these four men raised questions but they could wait for another time. Because a welcome greeted Taliesin's ears by the man himself, Galahad, eyes meeting as one smiled and the other keeping his expression firmly quiet til moments passed and Taliesin could find reason to speak and offer kind gestures like smiles and greetings.

It would come off as rude to some perhaps and others maybe cared little at all for it. Payed no mind so to speak. But new territory and uncertainty were still fresh in his mind and kept him still of expression while he of common birth and less then ideal past to say lightly questioned in mind his purpose. Was the threat of Mordred so that Taliesin would remain here?

Yes.

A nod from his head and sighed exhale Taliesin met Galadhads welcome and smile with a slight better but brief look, a small grin that was more forced then easily given combined with his nod and coming response. "Greetings, Sir Galahad..." It was still hardly matching in tone but it was a start for the bowman. Simply being here was a difficult enough agreement it left him vulnerable to arrest should they turn against him. Fewer walls and gates were his comfort, they more like home then a stronghold with several guards and knights about. But that was mere paranoia unnecessary and he'd come around eventually. A common threat and reminder these men were not those who gave him cause to hate high born so long ago and these walls were not those he breached sometime before in the past months in order to kill the noble scum that led his rabble to Lauren's springs and to its demise.

He needed to relax and by walking over and taking a seat around the table, leaning back looking for comfort of chair and posture as elbow propped his hand upward so that fingers hold his chin with underneath thumb and two fingers stretching toward his temple across his cheek. While he gazed upon the room of men and women in observation and listening ear would assist in that matter.

Noting the presence passing the door and exchange between Galahad, Alexandria and this woman with child called Lillian. She was a princess of all things? Today was raising more questions then answers for him now. The legendary knight hoped a pregnant woman of royal birth could return to battle after having child? Taliesin supposed it was better then combat while in such a state. But still shocking to him.

Then one man spoke dryly of tone and paid no specific attention on any one person. Stating of the second and third arrivals before going quiet again.

"Can't say what exactly I expected.... But even some were beyond my counting. Time tells all though, correct?" Taliesin spoke chiming in but offering little then what was already apparent. A group like this and so far, told of how unique this round table would be and his viewpoint was only the beginning. Honestly, he wasn't sure of what else to say here.... It would take a moment to truly gather words without more to go on or comments meant for him to respond and chat more openly then he had so far.

Lucia Saeva

Lucia had been spending her time idly as she was perched on a high tree branch. The breeze that danced through the forest and swirled throughout the Forest Fey kingdom was quite comforting in it own way. She sighed out heavily as memories of her family encouraging her to follow her dreams of being a guardian of the innocent, to join almighty knights played through her mind. It was going to be an adventure in itself but she was considered over her weak grasp on human behaviors since she had not spent a lot of time near humans after she had found her true family and discovered her noble lineage. A single howl broke her concentration and she looked down to see her enchanted wolf companion, Zeref, patiently waiting for her at the base of the tree.

Lucia scaled down the tree with ease and lightly pet the large beast between his ears, "I guess it is time for us to go. The meeting has probably already begun so lets head out." As soon as she took off sprinting with ease, Zeref was right on her heels without making little to no sound. Within a few minutes they had finally arrived at the human settlement of Camboglanna which was near the place Lucia was originally raised. The sight alone brought back a dull ache in her body as she thought of the human parents that she spent most of her life with. Zeref lightly nudged her hand to comfort her. Lucia gave him a slight smile and kept one hand entangled in his green fur as they made their way through Camelot. Bystanders looked at them with fear and apprehension but one sharp gaze from Zeref would cause them to disperse. As they had finally entered the meeting place, she had begun to feel slightly out of place with her Changeling features and the fact that she was barefoot like other of her kind. Zeref sat back on his haunches and surveyed those around them while Lucia offered them a slight bow, "H-Hello I am Lucia Saeva of the noble Saeva clan and this is my companion Zeref. I am very grateful for the invite Sir Galahad." Lucia's face had taken on a light shade of pink as she stood up as tall as possible to make her seem more confident

Whatever Alexandria said snapped Bentonvelt back to reality. Clarity made its way to Bentonvelt's head as she realized that she passed by the door. Turning around she headed towards the door that was now fully open just for everyone to enter in. Before she could enter in she had another awe shocking thought. What if the villagers sold all of his research? It would of been a disaster if that were to happen. All of the years he spent in the name of medicine would been to waste... Granted though he still remembered all of them which meant she didn't necessarily need the research.

Just about when she snapped out of her thoughts, and about to enter the room for the third try she immediately spot when she turned the corner. There was a pregnant women, and a strange girl. The girl felt a little 'interesting' in her eyes, but he didn't recognize the clan name. The women however was her quarry. There was a rare opportunity for him to experiment on pregnant women. Though he was able to deliver babies, he never gave medicine to the in labor mothers, because the villagers were adamant about it.

A sly smile grew on his lips. Maybe this trip would pay off after all. After this she could go back home after this, and indulge himself in his studies again. A small sinister laugh escaped her as he tried to contain it. Now all he had to was to hear them out on what they had to say, since he didn't finish reading the letter before getting shoved onto a cart.

Alexandria, Galahad and Cromwell.

Galahad simply nodded at Taliesin as the man returned Galahad's greeting with one of his own. It was a simple one that meant nothing and Galahad knew that. It was merely a formality and polite to greet someone back and while Alexandria realized this, she still couldn't help but dislike Taliesin a bit. He seemed very apprehensive to even be here and she felt like his personality would be less than ideal. Still, Alexandria would not comment on anything and remained silent. She would try her best get along for everyone, and even those she didn't get along with she would care for and guide them to the best of her abilities.

"Hmph. You wish to have a pregnant woman join this Order?" Man one said toward Galahad with a scornful tone. The man was not of this era, but was seemingly more misogynistic than someone from the current era.

"Indeed. Lillian is more than a suitable candidate. And I will remind you, Sir Oliver Cromwell, that she will be joining after giving birth. I maybe demanding, but I am not stupid." Galahad said with a stricter tone than what he had so far displayed.

Cromwell merely huffed and puffed and crossed his arms, grumbling in a low voice to himself at the embarrassment that Galahad had just caused.

Next to arrive was one of the more supernatural members of the Round Table. She was a changeling that could also bend earth, a deadly combination making her more than worthy to help Galahad and his quest. Galahad smiled at the young girl, "Hello, young Lucia. Wel-"

"She is so cute! Look at her blush, and her eyes. Oooh her ears are furry too and she has a pet wolf." Alexandria interrupted Galahad and his greeting with her explosive outburst. She had a weakness for cute things and Lucia was one of the cutest little things ever. Alexandria couldn't help but stare almost creepily at Lucia and to some extent Zeref.

"Please regain your composure." Galahad directed to Alexandria sternly, and Alexandria complied. Galahad cleared his throat and returned his attention to Lucia, "As I was saying. Welcome, young Lucia. Please take a seat. Stay away from that one. She might kidnap you." Galahad pointed at Alexandria and dryly chuckled.

Galahad and Alexandria were a little put off by the cloaked figure as seemed that she was not exactly right in the head. It took a solid three or four tries for the girl to finally enter the room, which was amusing to Alexandria. The fact that the girl would then stare at Lillian and let out a somewhat evil sounding laugh was not going to help Bentovelt's case. Galahad merely sighed and motioned to an open seat near man four, "Please, take a seat. We will begin once the others arrive."

Man four looked over at Bentonvelt and remained expressionless. His hair was brown and somewhat lengthy but didn't go past his ears. He wore a white button up shirt with a black vest over it, a black tie neatly tucked under the vest. His pants matched his vest as did his shoes which were extremely shinny. The man had a black mustache and heavy bags under his eyes. He was obviously not from this era either, going off his clothing and appearance alone.

Bentonvelt didn't seem to care, or mind on what the others were doing. She just kept on darkly laughing lightly at the many experiments that popped into her head. What herbs should she use to 'help' the women who was in labor? Given that her stomache swelled out, she must of been near in birthing her child. Another dark chuckle escaped him as he thought about the child. Was it a she, or was it a he? If it was a male then she wouldn't mind experimenting on the little guy. After all boys should be stronger more stable or the women to support themselves on.

Those thoughts however made Bentonvelt shiver. Why was he thinking like that it made no sense for him. However she heard what the man said about him. "Sir, I sexually identify myself as a male," Bentonvelt spoke out in an attempt to correct him. Granted he was correct about his current body, but still he was wrong in identifying him as a she. Taking a seat he spotted a person staring at herself. He was oddly suspicious, but he must of been invited since he was here.

Was he... sexually attracted to him? Confusion swarmed over him as he moved away from man four. Obviously he didn't roll that way. That face oozed with 'romance' as he looked at the guy's face.

After awhile Sir Bran had finally woke up. To his surprise no guards had attempted to wake him up, he guessed they where all most likely in the war room. He walked around the fort a bit till he could find the back window of the war room. He noticed the bars on it though. "How am I going to get up there..." That's when a brilliant idea sparked in his mind, he quickly went to the resting rooms of the fort looking for a piece of parchment and charcoal. "Alright....." He though for what kind of message he wanted to send the other knights in the war room. He ended up writing on it in the end. Its fine now, why? Because I am here! He attached the little piece of parchment to an arrow.

Sir Bran then moved back outside the fort finding the prefect spot where he would be able to shoot the arrow straight the window. He realized one of his arrows was the same thing as coming crashing though the window himself. When no guard was looking, he took his bow as well as the arrow with the message, loaded the arrow on the bow. He then closed his eyes and forced listening closely to the wind, the moment he could hear a bird chirping he opened his eyes turning them back releasing the arrow. The arrow flew straight though the bars of the window, smashing the glass, falling down the war room, landing in the bit of table right in front of Sir Galahad.

Sir Bran shouted
"Yes!, hahah! I wonder if that hit anyone" He rushed back inside the fort walking straight into the war room to see what happened.

When asked to join the Knights of the Round Table after childbirth, Lillian wasn't so sure. From what she heard, the amount of time to recover from childbirth varied from woman to woman. Though on average, she heard that it took around three days. Balancing time between her child and retaking her kingdom was going to be a challenge for certain. Alexandria then showed concern that her Father was asking for Lillian to return to battle after childbirth and questioned whether or not it was a good idea before she was asked to take a step outside. Just then, some of the new recruits had arrived. She caught some of them eyeing her stomach, which did make her feel a little uneasy. As a result, she continued to cradle her unborn child. Hopefully none of the new recruits weren't thinking about anything concerning her. It would also seem that there would be women in the new Knights of the Round, something that even Lillian could get behind.

Lastly, once Sir Bran entered the room, she seemed rather annoyed, as if he had set off one of her mood swings. "You're lucky that didn't hit me...Otherwise you'd be at a guillotine..." she growled, eyeing the arrow before looking back at him.

Bryce was on his horse, riding with his squire to Camelot. He had a smile on his face, as he felt like the glory of Camelot was on the verge of returning. His squire was behind him with his lances and other weapons that wasn't his sword. He left his horse at the stables, leaving his squire with it as he headed inside the castle. He made his way to the waroom, instantly smiling when he saw Galahad and Lilian. He extended his hand towards Galahad, saying, "It's an honor to be at your service, Sir Galahad. And it's a pleasure to see an old friend again. Lilian." He was suprised when he heard Lilian was pregnant, and even more so when no one knew who the father was. When the arrow shot through the window, being the chilvalrous knight he is, pushed Lilian behind him, before realizing it was just Bran, saying, "Be more careful, next time. You could have killed the last hope of Camelot." He looked at Lilian before kneeling with his sword, saying, "By the honor of my earthly father, Michael, and my Heavenly Father, Holy Jesu, I pledge myself to you and all of your offspring. May the glory of Camelot return with you."

Alexandria, Cromwell and Galahad
Galahad merely stared at Bentonvelt for a few seconds before letting out a loud laugh. It took the older man a few minutes to finally die down and catch his breath. He wiped a few tears away and waved off Bentonvelt's comment, "Oh that is a good one... but seriously, try not to kill me by making such jokes." Galahad then motioned for Alexandria and she complied. He leaned in and whispered to her, "Is that girl a little crazy or something?"

"Ask her yourself, because I do not know... I think you are right though..." Alexandria and Galahad proceed to stare at Bentonvelt for a brief moment before returning to a secret conversation, "She is definitely a she, so I would assume she is very crazy."

"Hmm. Hmm." Galahad merely nodded in agreement with Alexandria before rubbing his chin and shrugging. It wasn't that important, just a tad odd and amusing to the old knight.

Crrrck

Fwoom

An arrow had broken the glass window that sat behind Galahad and flew through the metal bars with some impressive precision. The arrow landed right in front of Galahad which the old knight neither seemed surprised or interested in it. He picked it up and noticed the note attached to it. Galahad handed the arrow and note to Alexandria who proceeded to break the arrow in half and crumple up the note without reading it. Ironically, Sir Bran, who was the one that shot this arrow into the room, had just entered only to realize his arrow and note being destroyed. Both Galahad and Alexandria gulped a bit as Lillian went off on Bran. She could definitely be scary and the fact that she was pregnant made it ten times worse.

"Ah, I forgot Byrce was to join us. Good. He'll keep Lillian safe or die trying." Alexandria said as Byrce entered the room next, and Galahad remained silent, only nodding towards him as an acknowledgement. Byrce was a good guy, if not a bit eccentric when it came to being a knight. Galahad always thought he tried too hard to be one.

"Ugh. Get a room you two. Take your chivalry and shove it somewhere else." Cromwell said crankily. He obviously was not in a good mood, but one would ask if he had ever been in a good mood. He looked over at Galahad and grumbled, "When are we starting. We have a war to win and a usurper to execute."

Bryce smiled, saying, "No, no, Cromwell. My heart belongs to Adalie and no other. Speaking of Adalie, have you seen her? I would very much like to see her once more." He stood up, sheathing his sword as his armor (Knights, and other armored I'm uncultured) clinking as he did so.. Adalie was in her chambers getting ready for the day when her chambermaid informed her Bryce was back, running to the castle excitedly. She was wearing a dress that Bryce had bought for her, and she cherished it greatly.(https://i.pinimg.com/236x/1d/45/8e/1d458eaf6c57a5d06e6fa8117dcc75c2.jpg) She made her way to the castle, the guards letting her inside, but not inside the War Room, the woman walking away disappointed.

If one could expect all and see all they'd be a fool. Taliesin rode for Camboglanna to join this resurrected order of holy knights and round tableness yet hardly could he have ever seen such things as his eyes lay upon now in gaze. A changling, ears different from his own with wolf in tow. A man wearing clothes far from the likes he had ever seen nor heard, a girl claiming to identify as a man, another entering the room and joining the with child womans side, who's anger was triggered by the arrow that strike the table from a near window with bars. Followed by of course, the actual man who fired said arrow as one elder mans tone and patience took to that of a grump who likely needed a nap or something by taliesins view.

Nope. None of his could have been foreseen by supernatural visions or mans superior thought and expectation. Less he become experienced in such oddities of unions and banners. Life was truly far more simple and plain beyond castle walls.

"A fool sends a arrow through window, reckless and with note. Yet questions lay hidden about this mans intent? Be they mordred spy with inaccurate aim to assassinate one of thy here or would they be a man seeking far too much attention to ones self when greater matters remain at hand and unspoken?"

Taliesin spoke suddenly and aloud from his chair, clearly not ready to laugh so easily nor move past the perceived overlooked. It seemed like a everyday occurrence or something..... was it? Truly his mind could not fathom such a moment. But perhaps long journey and inner conflict overshadow his clear thoughts, better Judgment of the unique and vision of what lays before him. He almost didn't realize that he started to sound like the older grump who spoke before him.

Answers was the desired for him. If he was to ease his conflict and mind with the idea of helping this cause instead of remaining neutral or perhaps foolishly try the invaders on his own, he required information and what this table would be like. He had heard tales of the older knights, the knights of the previous round table and the legends they were. But tales and legends were not here today, least not all.

Hand kept to his face with thumb beneath chin and fingers raised toward his temple, while other lay resting upon the arm of his chair and back leaned in comfort but still tall enough to give presence. Eyes closing for a moment as his realization hits him and he shakes his head and lets out a 'grrr' sound for a moment.

"Apologies....." he spoke with almost reluctant form though necessary if his more respectful and kinder side could show itself beyond his current temperament. "My words are guided with wrong intent. I came for a purpose despite certain.... conflicts of man I may possess. Long journey has seen me here, adjustments will take time but shall happen for the cliched 'Greater good' of us all. Proceed...."

Sir Bran was a little disappointed to see they didn't even bother to read the note he had so, gone though so much trouble to sent their way. He turned to Princesses Lillian not releasing who she was "I wouldn't dream of it my lady" He then looked around to see who else was here when he released, who was here. "Your highness!" He said looking back at Princesses Lilian shocked and excited. He then looked to back to Sir Galahad "And Sir Galahad.....haha! As I live and breath, Sir Bryce its been awhile." He said with a warm smile looking to the knight.

Suddenly the man with a bread in at the table spoke up against Sir Bran. He listened and waiting for all this man had to say. "I meant no affiance, apologies accepted my lord. If I manged to kill anyone of you with a single arrow does that not prove I could protect all of you? But since we are all here that makes me the weakest knight among us all. So now I can truly rest safely knowing my life and Camelot is in safe hands"

He looked around releasing Sir Gawain was not here, he looked sad for a moment which would be so easily overlooked as it was just for a single second. "Its true then Sir Galahad, the raven tower has fallen, Camelot has fallen, the king is dead, and I have failed. A knight can not serve without a king, I ask you what cause would you have me take up my bow for? If there is not a king to serve? A hand can not serve without a head, a baker can not bake for himself, a horse can not carry without a man, and a knight can not fight without a king."

Lucia Saeva

Lucia had managed to muster up a small smile as Galahad addressed her before she flinched back slightly at the loud outburst from the woman named Alexandria. Zeref instinctively placed himself in front of her, he was weary of this human. Past experiences had taught him that loud humans are quite wild and hard to judge but she seemed friendly enough to not be an imminent threat . Lucia had heard Galahad's warning but she was quite curious about Alexandria since no other human had called her cute besides the ones that raised her. "Ah h-hello Miss Alexandria," she offered the rather imposing woman a meek greeting before Zeref herded her towards an open seat by Alexandria.

Once Lucia had realized where she was headed she tried to pull away from Zeref, she was always shy around humans due to her past but Zeref knew that she needed to get over her fears. She slipped away for a second before the wolf grabbed Lucia by the back of her fawn colored sweater and carried her to the open seat. It was a comical sight to see the small girl being carried by the wolf as if he was a tired mother, "You're a traitor Zeref, I thought you wanted to protect me." Zeref responded with a snort as he plopped Lucia down in the chair. She couldn't even bring herself to look up at Alexandria and continued to sit with her arms crossed and her ears flicking in irritation. Zeref had taken a walk around the room to get use to everyone's scent and took special interest in Lilian because she was pregnant. He sniffed around her for a little bit before sitting by her side, he still kept a watchful eye on Lucia.

Bentonvelt
Bentonvelt eventually got use to the guy who was staring rather intently at him. Other than the arrow breaking through the window, which scared her a little, everything was going alright. She kept quiet at the conversations that didn't involve her. Of course he could of sworn that she heard someone calling her crazy, but that was probably just her imagination. Then something hit her. Why was she here, and there was no one ill? Why would they call her? Bentonvelt pondered this as she looked at Galahad.

He didn't read the full letter, but it seemed to be pointless to read it now. "Sir, may I ask why was I called here?' Bentonvelt said as he spoke out. His voice still surprised him, being rather feminine, since he still referred himself as a male. Though that wasn't on topic. What he needed to know was why was he called here. If they were looking for a knight then they looked at one of the most disloyal figures out there.

While thankful that Bryce was quick to protect her, Lillian was sometimes agitated by how he lets his chivalry get the better of him. She could look after herself despite being with child, and hoped that he knew that. Nonetheless she appreciated the gesture. If this was the best they had to rebuild the Knights of the Round, there was a lot of work to do. Or at least the Crown Princess herself thought so. With her Mother and Brother missing and most likely dead if not captured, Lillian could only assume that she was ascending to the throne and her successor would be that of her illegitimate son, who will be the last of King Arthur's bloodline unless he marries himself, which Lillian did not know for certain. Finally, when she sat down, Lucia's Pet Wolf, came by and started sniffing her. She didn't really mind, at least until the pup took an interest in her belly. Chances were that he could sense the life inside Lillian. She was shocked when he sat down by her side. Lillian then smiled and gently reached the pup's head to gently pet him and scratch behind his ears. "I think I found my Knight, who's a good boy? Who's a good boy? You are." She coddled the pup briefly before letting him return to Lucia and then turning to look at Sir Bran, disliking his attitude.

Kings were not the only ones that knights served. "If you're going to be thinking like that, Sir Bran, then you're welcome to leave. We will take Camelot back and I will reclaim my Father's Throne, with or without your help." she said coldly, cradling the unborn son that rested inside her.

David runs through the crowded village of Camelot. He was running late, very late. He dodged and divided into multiple allies to go faster to no avail. He made it to the castle in a few minutes tops. He knew others would take half an hour or so, but with his skills it was easy.

David marched up the castle steps. He had been waiting for this triumphant moment for as long as he could remember. He waltzs down the hallways until he comes across a room filled with voices. He enters to find himself at the round table.
“I’m sorry for my lateness. I had rushed here as fast as I could when I heard of the need for new knights,” David says, “I’m Sir David.”

Alexandria and Galahad(And a few others)

"Hmph. All this talk of chivalry and knightship makes me disgusted. It is rubbish." Cromwell said in reply to Bryce but was immediately silenced by Galahad who had stared daggers at the grump of a man. Cromwell was more bark than bite, but he was by far one of Britain's greatest strategists and would be instrumental in reconquering Camelot and pushing out the invaders.

"No reason to apologize, Sir Taliesin." Galahad said, putting up a hand as if to stop and refuse his apology, "I can see why you were suspicious of Sir Bran and his arrow. Mordred has spies everywhere and is already on his way here to destroy us. It would not be impossible for he to send an assassin to dismantle our leadership." Galahad paused and offered a small smile towards the rather cold archer, "Though Sir Bran is rather easy to sense, even through stone walls. I could sense it was just him trying to make an entrance. Thus why I did not look at his note."

Alexandria meanwhile was trying not to pounce on Lucia after Zeref had smoothly played the role of wingman to perfection. She made a note to give the wolf lots of extra food and love for his service to the great Kingdom of Alexandria. Still, Alexandria did somehow manage to restrain herself from attacking Lucia with hugs and merely smiled, "Hello, Lucia. A pleasure to meet you." The Knight chuckled a bit as Lucia pouted at Zeref for putting her in this situation. To Alexandria, Lucia was the definition of cute.

Sir Bran and Princess Lillian seemed like they were about to get into it though, after Bran declared that it seemed rather futile to try and serve as a Knight with no King. Galahad wished to keep both parties satisfied, "For the time being I will serve as Viceroy and lead our people. Once we reclaim Camelot, Lillian will be crowned as Queen and you will serve her. For now you serve the people of Camelot. You are a Knight of the People. A symbol of hope. The People are your king for the time being." Galahad paused and motioned towards Man Two who barely looked older than sixteen, "If that answer does not suffice, I will hand over Kingship to this young man." Galahad merely smiled as he said this cryptic sentence, hoping Lillian and Bran would calm down and work together. The Grizzled Knight would try his best to make sure this Round Table would not end before it began.

"As for your services, uh..." Galahad motioned for Alexandria and she complied. The two whispered back and forth until Galahad spoke once more towards Bentonvelt, "As for you, Bentonvelt, I have called you here due to your prowess as an Alchemist. With Merlin gone, we have no wizard no alchemist. Your job is to aid us through alchemy. Whether that be through the famed Philosopher's Stone, which should be a last resort, or through other means that you excel at." Galahad paused and leaned back in his chair, looking at man four, "We have no need for... What is it you call yourself?"

"A Doctor, Monsieur." Man four said with a thick German Accent. His voice was almost lifeless and monotone, but it somehow suited him and his appearance.

"Ah, yes. We have no need for a Doctor who can treat injuries, but I am sure you have other uses. Alchemy works in many ways." Galahad resumed after man four informed him of his profession.

"The last member has arrived." Alexandria announced as David walked into the room, apologizing for his lateness. Alexandria wasn't entirely wrong, he would be the last member... for now anyway. Galahad offered the man a nod and did not seem to mind that he was late, after all he wasn't that late. In fact, it seemed like he was fashionably late.

'With everyone here, I suppose we can begin this meeting." Galahad proclaimed loudly and followed it up with a slam of his fist on the table. Hopefully it would catch everyone's attention so that Galahad could introduce the four mysterious men and discuss his plan, "I am glad you are all here. We need all of you more than ever. If we wish to stop Mordred, and eventually the invaders that put him in power, we need to reform this order." Galahad paused, and gulped slightly as he closed his eyes. After a brief moment of thought to himself, Galahad opened his eyes and spoke once more, "At this moment, The Knights of the Round Table are to be reestablished. You all are now Knights who will bring down the King of Treachery and whatever allies he has."

Galahad clapped his hands after his announcement, "Now, we have very little time. Mordred will be here within a day. Our soldiers are preparing as we speak, and we must repel him and his army. This battle will determine the fate of Briton and Camelot." Galahad surveyed the room and looked at every person that was in it, "I would like to introduce you all to these four men. They will be leaders of their respective fields. Advisors and generals, if you will."

"Oh! Can I go first? Please introduce me first. I have been dying to meet all these wonderful people!" Man two said while waving his right hand up in the air, almost as if he was trying to get Galahad's attention. It worked, and Galahad decided to introduce him first.

"Alright, this man is Richard the Lionheart. He is a future King of Briton. He will be leading our forces on the battle field. He may look young, but he had decades of experience in leading armies and commanding countries." Galahad said with a smile before moving on to the next man, "The man to his right that looks like he is dead is Doctor Victor Frankenstein. He is to keep us alive at all costs. The old grump next to him with a balding head is Oliver Cromwell. He is to be our strategist. You have full authority to punch him if he harasses you." Galahad stopped and was about to change topics before remembering the last man, "Ah yes. The last one is our spymaster. He is a quiet man that can kill you before you even realized he was in the room. Giovanni Casonova is his name." Galahad looked around, most likely at puzzled and confused faces and smiled calmly, "Any questions before I continue?"

Seeing the response this Cromwell had for chivalry and his disgust at such manners was odd. But to each their own. Personally it hadn't bothered the archer much, this knight with princess Lillian and caring for her safety was noble. They might be high born but seeking the safety of a woman and her unborn child was admirable. Meanwhile the young girl who said she was identified as a man, puzzling that one.

Further came thoughts on this wolf, the attention he got from both Lillian and Alexandria was something. The attention Lucia seemed to get was something too. While Bran he didn't know..... A man looking for such attention seemed risky. He was potentially younger the he, perhaps high born and liking the spotlight? Taliesin couldn't say for certain. He was a young knight that came off as one who could end up dead by keeping such antics. A interesting group at the very least. The other three men however were yet of words and one was perhaps the youngest here. Curious.

When Galahad responded to his words and apology for said outburst. Taliesin looked toward him and nodded while hearing him out. The man had some natural sense for people like Sir Bran, knowing of who sent the arrow before note was read or bothered to get read. A nice trait to have. However learning that his caution and thoughts of mordred spies were closer to truth then he realized before, learning mordred was aware and sending an army to Camboglanna to destroy this newly restored order, this knights of the round table.

It brought several thoughts to mind. Including the simple one of him fighting alongside this group of knights sooner then he would have accounted for and thought. "A generous reaction Sir Galahad. Perhaps not all high borns are alike after all...." Taliesin spoke with a more honest smile though still brief as his warming to this group wouldn't happen in mere hours. Still much to know about these people and trust earned by actions and offerings of true words. "I'm glad tactical awareness has not gone unnoticed. I would have been disappointed if one thought themselves untouchable by hidden actions made against thy crown. No matter who they be, legend or future king... Common birth or general." He went on and added. "Still good to have a extra hand around like Sir Bran, if the army of Mordreds hand comes for us here. I'll be ready and atop the battlements when the time comes." Taliesin added solidifying unnecessarily perhaps his place and intended remaining of part in this round table. Cold and silence may have been his entrance and following actions, but time may offer a new light and opinion on those of high birth. Offer a brighter smile instead of his more coldly ways.

Meanwhile he turned his gaze toward the young Sir Bran and shook his head with a simple 'No' gesture. Hearing his words and though upon the matter that be his actions and what they could mean to others present. He accepted the apology and Taliesin trusted that Galahad knew well enough about this Bran and the enemy each of them now shared. But the words of Sir Bran were not highly agreed upon by this particular archer.
"If your arrow struck from grounded stance and fired high through shattered or better yet open window between bars, managing to strike any here and kill them.... It doesn't prove skill to me. It shows a man who has killed and who's shot was lucky. I am almost certain that you did not scout the view from above and see who was here and where they sat before taking said shot. No skill comes the action you had taken, no proof of how many were here and where they sat in this room for skill to show. Just luck on several levels, Sir Bran. You wish to defend these people, then do your work and act like a knight capable of fighting when the tough and bold truly set their eyes and blades upon thee'.....Death and it's taking shouldn't be taken lightly or easily taken at all. All sorts of tactics and what you will see and defend against remains out there. Don't act confident, brash until you live to face it." Taliesin countered with his tone fought in order to keep his calm and not sound as counter productive as he may have. "All I mean Sir Bran.... is death changes you. Seeing horrors no matter your age, can change you. Battle, the fires of war and deeds of man are nothing to small and easily defend against. Don't get yourself killed by claiming such things. A mindset like yours through my viewpoint shows youth.... Youth don't remain so for long in this part of life."

Taliesin offered in 'take it from me' sort of way despite their unknowing of one another. Since they just met here and perhaps had gotten off on the wrong foot via Taliesins tendencies when meeting new people and awareness of potential spies.

Meanwhile he looked toward Princess Lillian and Sir Bryce. She was obviously a fiery one and knew how to stand her ground. Taliesin could only imagine how she'd fair with weapon in her hands and not pregnant like she was now.

Then he continued to observe the room and Galahad, listening and eying the others that were getting introduced. Becoming more curious and puzzled by some of the men present. A future king of Briton? The boy was perhaps the youngest here. Then a Doctor who put new meaning into needing to eat and rest. While the latest arrival had come and he was with apologies for his lateness. A man who appeared like a knight in the way that he'd be seen as one more so then one such as Taliesin would be. A few knights of royal allegiance so far joining this new round table.

The second man was truly a youth with attention seeking ways. Least from the archers view point and intial opinions on the matter.

Decades would have to mean something different then what Taliesin had understood it to mean. The young lion heart barely looked old enough to grow a whisker much less lead men and women into battle and have such experience already. Truly a head scratcher if there ever was one.

"Yeah.... If Mordred rides for us and this stronghold, what plans are in place for safety and shelter for those unable to fight? I trust they have been given thought and not tossed aside to be dealt with later. A secure room below the castle with a hidden tunnel for escape should things go amiss? So that Fire and crumbled stone during heat of battle not lessen their chance for survival. How about formations if they of Mordreds hand breach our walls? What fall back plans are there. I hardly expect a noble and fair gesture to the unarmed is to be expected and offered should we fail."

It wouldn't be of surprise to those knowledgeable why Taliesin sought earlier answers and assurances for the commoners and others unable to fight. Even if those could be answered later and not quite the sort of questions Galahad in mind.
