Luckily I managed to escape and kill the leader and take control" she doesn't pull away from the hug "I'm just as weak now as I was then, if not weaker"

Scourge's voice became sharp, and he growled lowly. "You're not weak."

Scourge was about to speak when Blank showed up. He let go of the girl, standing up now, and took a step back. He kept his eyes on Catherine as he nodded. "You're no different from us, so if you're weak then we are too. If we're strong, then so are you."

"I didn't actually choose to become one of you...when I was found on your doorstep I was knocking on death's door and it must have been the only way to save me." Catherine sobbed again, now that Scourge had let go of her she felt cold and less at ease "Mr Scourge I...well um I" she didn't know if Blank knew his real name or not and she stuttered as she tried to form her sentence "it doesn't matter, I'll tell you when some other time...but thank you for being so kind to me. Others would have left me to cry but you actually took time to care and try to calm me down and for that I'm grateful" she smiled slightly and tried to think out what she was going to tell him in her head you make me feel something I haven't felt in a long time. I've only known you for a short time but you make me shake my tough girl facade and reveal my weak, sensitive self. I don't feel intimidated when I'm around you and I get butterflies in the pit of my stomach. She sighs to herself God he'd laugh in your face if you ever said that to him.

Scourge raised an eyebrow at the random appearance of the Squad Leader, but he didn't question it too much. He turned to face Catherine again. "Don't worry about it, alright?" It was obvious he was smiling by the way his voice sounded.

Catherine nods as she wipes her face "thank you Aaron." She smiles and lies down on the couch and sighs "I'm sorry for being such a hassle"

Scourge laughed. "I'm not actually doing anything that important right now. And no thank you, I think I should be cutting back on the coffee." He sat down at his desk, looking at the Weaver again.

She begins making herself a coffee and laughs "is there really any way to 'cut back' on coffee? Or is that just the lack of coffee talking?" She finishes making the coffee and walks over to the desk and sits in one of the chairs opposite Scourge

"If only there were rehab centres in the middle of the wastelands... For coffee, not for drugs. Though, the two are pretty similar when you think about it." Scourge leans forward and rests his chin on his wrists. "Maybe I'm just bound to be addicted to coffee forever."

Revnoir started feeling sharp, sporadic pains in his chest, and when the doctors noticed, they immediately checked his core. Revnoir started feeling like he was suffocating, and doctors quickly attempted to help him. He was then hurried off for emergency surgery.


His core was failing.

Cartherine laughs "meh I'm addicted to coffee but it gives me the energy I need to get through the day without feeling the need to put my sword through someone's throat. Listen Aaron..." she looks down at the cup "I'm sorry if I came on a little too strongly the other day...I just let my emotions get the better of me sometimes and before I knew it I was kissing you" she blushes in embarrassment "so I thought I should apologise for it"
