Fantasy Reaper: Reboot
"But I've also given you a reason to hate me. I've raped two of the people who are now with Weave, and I've been keeping Isaac's location to myself. I know they want his location, but whenever I try to explain it... They only hate me more."
"Then why not let me try to explain it?" She chuckles "I still need to learn how to use my threads but I can learn later. I don't mind being your errand girl for a while" she smiles and then looks at him "so do you give your real name out to everyone or just to people you can trust?"

"Don't worry, Catherine. I've grown used to their hate." Scourge stopped typing, staring at the screen blankly. "And no, not everyone, mainly because they don't ask. I'm willing to show my face, but nobody but Asilia has asked."

"So how come you raped her? Was it becuse you had feelings for her or just because she was an enemy?" Catherine asks "you don't have to answer by the way, I understand I'm annoying. You can tell me to leave at any time"

"Don't worry, questions are welcome. It's better than the silence. I raped her because she was an enemy, and I guess I felt like just harming her physically wouldn't be enough. That was when I was strongly against her father..."

Catherine nods "did I come on too strong the other day? I didn't mean too, it's been a while since I've properly interacted with people" she laughs

Scourge let out a quiet chuckle. "Don't worry about it, I assumed as much. At least you're not Elita." (References. So. Many. References... To the book)

Catherine sighs "I hope I didn't scare you though, that's the last thing I want to do" she lies on the couch and yawns "anyway Aaron, I'm drained, night" she makes sure her skirt is covering her underwear, she didn't want to flash her underwear. She closes her eyes and begins to drift off.

(Gnight!)

"Goodnight, Catherine." Scourge said, smiling distantly as he watched her for a moment. He then returned to typing, and made sure to type quietly so he wouldn't bother the sleeping Weaver. (Gnight)

Leah turned away to leave the two to their argument after seeing that her point had soared right over their heads on feathered wings. Still, she wasn't looking forward to having to put up with a tiny screeching humanoid demon for however long this place survived.

As the youngest child of her family, Leah had never developed a tolerance for a young, even those of as old as eight or nine. It's wasn't that they couldn't hold a somewhat complicated conversation once they started learning words (although they couldn't), but rather that they made every conversation more unreasonable than it had to be; the topics they danced to and from were almost always completely irrelevant to the original one.

Though that was just a simple pet-peeve of hers. Nothing to kill over. Though there undeniably were some things worth killing over.

~~~~~~~~~~~~Later~~~~~~~~~~~~(>•w•)<
Leah had wandered long enough that she had somehow wound up outside, standing ambiently on a path between Weave's primary building and the barracks. For the past long time and many hours, she had been debating in her head whom it was she could blame for the eventual burden of being chased around by an annoying child, with only the occasional unrelated thought floating through. Scourge, or Asilia? Of course, Asilia might have been able at one point to find the guts to preform a homemade abortion, but the world had still been debating that before the matter had even come to reaper-people.
How long had it been since she had slept..? Leah already had forgotten if the last time she had gotten rest was recent or...
But then, of course, it was Scourge's fault for bringing the issue itself about. But it all could have been avoided if Asilia had kept her double-crossing, reapery nose out of Weave in the first place.
Why hadn't she slept lately, then? Leah paused to rack her mind, but seconds later mentally backtracked. Oh yeah, because of that one dream. Damn, for her there were too many recurring dreams, and too many of them nightmares. There were a few that weren't technically
nightmarish, though. But they came hellishly close.
So, whose fault was it? Scourge. He had to have known that there were potentially repercussions, and poor Asilia getting pregnant was one of them.
But then shouldn't Asilia have been aware of the consequences of trying to infiltrate the place, of being captured? Well... she probably wouldn't have expected quite what
did happen. Could she have?
Well, she probably could've if she knew what kind of person she was dealing with, if they were honestly so sane. Was there any way for her to know though? Could Leah herself even say exactly whom she was working for?
Ugh... With each passing minute, Leah's thoughts grew more weary and incoherent, until they eventually faded into vague, wordless and shapeless questions that seemed to distantly relate to her lack of sleep. Finally, though, she nodded off in the cold, lying on her side on one of the stone benches lining weave's small courtyard.
(We've still got ourselves a courtyard... don't we? ^^" Not much ever happens outdoors anymore... In the first run-through, you could hardly find anyone indoors!
Catherine wakes up suddenly and sits bolt upright. Her breathing is quick and she looks pale. Catherine brings her knees to her face and rests her chin on them, she just blankly stares out into nothing
In the medbay the doctors and staff are in an uproar. Both Asilia, and her child have seemingly disappeared into thin air. Not even the tiniest trace of them remains.
Scourge looked up from his computer and scowled. "Everything alright?"
Revnoir had seen the Half Reaper leave, but he hadn't said a word. Even when the doctors asked him if he saw or heard anything, he just shook his head silently and avoided eye contact. The girl wanted out, he couldn't blame her.
Catherine doesn't respond, she tears up and hides her face in her knees. The nightmares were neverending, she'd go to sleep and have a nightmare and then wake up into a nightmare. She looks at Scourge "I think I should leave. I'm distracting you"
Cam had continued to rest peacefully, until he encountered an odd dream.
In Dream
He was standing at the barrack's doors, his mind blank of thought. What seems like an eternity passes by before the doors swing open. He begins to walk down a hallway of doors, each one looking identical to the other. He eventually decided to peak through one. He saw Scourge and Catherine in Scourge's office, just standing there as if they were statues. A static blur interfered with Cam's vision and ears as he suddenly ended up at another door. He began to hear weird noises as the dream progressed, almost static-like noises. He eventually peaks through another door. It was the medbay, and to his surprise, Asilia and the baby were gone. Revnoir was standing in the center, looking like a statue. In an instant, Cam's ears and vision were overwhelmed with static. He wakes up.
Out of Dream
His eyes open. Although he wasn't able to see this himself, his eye color had changed from a dark brown, to a dark, fire red. He gets up, trying to get his thoughts back together. When he had previously lost his powers for a certain amount of time, he developed something of a sixth sense. It was weird, but he would have strange visions that seemed to have come true. There was more, but Cam couldn't think of any. He gets up and begins to pace around the barracks.
"You're not distracting me... Really, what's wrong?" Scourge looked concerned now. Was it him? Was he scaring her...?
Catherine shakes her head "just nightmares, sorry Aaron. Thanks for caring" she smiles at him sweetly and wipes her face
Scourge let out a subtle sigh. "Alright. I'll take it you don't want to talk about it?" He was up for listening to her, no matter how trivial her dream may seem, but he decided not to force it out of her.
Catherine sighs and lets the tears roll down her face "I saw my family ripped in front of me by those...things." she sobs "when I go to sleep I see them...they blame me and scream because I couldn't save them...I-It should have been me who died. They should be alive but I couldn't save them Aaron..." she begins crying loudly "it should have been me instead of them Aaron"
Cam had been training with his ability, finding out a few new tricks. He basically recreated telekinesis by using microscopic, invisible fire threads to move things. He aimed his hand towards the barracks doors and flicked his index finger, causing them to instantly fly open "telekinetically". He walks out, looking down both sides of the hallway. In a blur, he rushes to the medical bay. The doors to the bay telekinetically fly open before Cam suddenly appears in the doorframe. He glances around, seeing that Asilia and the baby were gone. "Shit.." He mumbles to himself.
Scourge stood up from his desk and made his way towards Catherine. He kneeled in front of her, leaving him at the same height as her sitting form, and pulled her into a hug. " We all wish we were the ones who had died that day, but it's in the past. Nobody could have stopped the Reapers, nobody can blame anyone but Isaac."
"I couldn't even harm them Aaron...they tossed me aside and I was buried in rubble, I watched them get torn apart before I passed out. I-I woke up and saw their bodies Aaron..." her voice trails off as she cries again "I don't know how I manage to carry on"
Catherine cries into his shoulder "I should have done more. They torment me constantly with their screams Aaron. I can't sleep properly anymore...I'm all alone in this world because I was weak"
"You weren't weak, Catherine. You were never weak. If you were, you wouldn't be here now. You'd have killed yourself out of guilt a long time ago. You were strong enough to survive, that's something."
