Fantasy Reaper 2: Revolution

Aura slowly wraped Yulier in a hug, hoping to comfort her. "Shhh..... It's okay.... I'm not going anywhere..... But we need to get going before Cain and Zero catch on to us."

"Alright... Then, let's go." She said, looking at Leah and Revnoir. She pulled away from Aura and signaled for them to go with her as she left towards the door that exits the room.

Aura stood up and looked around at the cells. He pulled out one of the old nova grenades that Zen gave to him, waited for the other three to leave, then he threw it at the back wall and started running. As he came out of the building and he was farther away he turned to watch the building exploded. He knew it wouldn't kill a sin, but now they wouldn't have a bace to tourture people in.

Almost immediately, Threads had formed to stop the explosion. Zero stepped outside, cracking his fingers. "So... You want to leave, then?" He growled, his Threads retracting and leaving minimal damage that had only spread in the cell room.

"Yes. One must always stay their course and not abandon those who need him. I will not be known a traitor." Aura said proudly.

Pride appeared behind zero. "I changed my mind I'd like to kill you now if at all possible so I went and found zero," pride said smiling his old mischievous smile."Good thing to I was not gonna clean up that mess."

(Gtg for a bit. I'll be back in 2 hrs) Zero sighed. "What a shame... I really had hoped you'd be able to make yourself comfortable here." He said, grinning. "Cain will miss you, you know. And when he misses someone, he's not the best to deal with."

"You people have no.... Idea...... I have a darker past than I care to say..... I have no place I belong. Never will." Aura said darkly. He then turned and started to walk towards the weave hq. (Major back story here! Press the questions latter!)

(Ooh, perhaps we can initiate plant plot twisty? xD )

Looking back to see the explosion, it didn't blow the base off it's foundation. Much to Leah's disappointment. She then noticed two of the sins confronting Aura. All she had time to think before she turned around was 'shit!'. She came up, several feet behind Aura, mimicking Pride's position behind Zero.

When Aura began walking away, she lingered for a moment or two to make sure neither of them stabbed him in the back... Literally. Then she turned away herself.

Leah nodded. She didn't mention that she'd be unable to use her threads, or that she'd intend on turning around as soon as the two were far enough away.

zen was sitting close enough to the base to see the explosion but not close enough to see that leah and the others had made it out safely. he stood"that was...a nova?" zen spoke. he immediately rushed towards the base at full sprint seeing leah aura who now looked normal again and a few of the sins. he sighed a breath of relief

(I'm sorry!!!!!!! I'm back now!) Revnoir looked at Zen, recognizing him, but not caring to acknowledge him. He cared too little at this point to do anything but focus on breathing and keeping his legs underneath him.

Yulier nodded, and stayed close to Aura.

(time skip to the time they get to the base I guess..? Also, Aura, Discord)

(Sure.)

Leah sulked, back at the base. The Weave's base. Before they had made their way all the way back to the base, Leah had retrieved Kano's blade. The one he had used to kill himself with. She left to be annoyed in the squad eight barracks.

(Aaaaaaaand I have to leave again. Spectacular timing for grocery shopping..... Ugh.)

Ugh.

Leah sat on the bed she had woken in days ago. Sekki, the blade, was laid on the nearest other bet. Leah was glaring at it viciously. Who would take over squad eight? Would Aura? Would he appoint Yulier? Heck, would she? It would all but surprise her. The Weave was struggling. It was becoming disorganized.

Leah stood and wandered to Aura's office, her leg still with a small ache, as if it was reluctant to stop hurting but no longer had much reason to. She opened the door to Aura's office wordlessly but tentatively. She stood in the room, staring distantly as if she had no focus on anything.

When Aura looked up he had something on his face. The bits of leather he had were now an eye patch covering his torn out left eye.

At seeing Aura's new accessory, Leah paused. She hadn't noticed that he was missing an eye. She hadn't focused close enough on any single detail during the time at the Sins' base. Then she turned her attention to his words.

'It's not just my loss. It's the Weave's loss. Squad eight has no leader, who just so happened to be one of the three most powerful weavers among the ranks. There's no replacing a... I'm not sure what it's called, but whatever that was. Firebird..? Levitate...? Gah, I'm embarrassing myself. But I hope you get my point.'

A she spoke, her hands flew into the air as if to ask the sky what next to do. When she finished, she stilled to become as before.

"Pheonix and Leviathan. And you are right. Leah.. You showed bravery and honor that few still posses. For your actions I am promoting you to leader of squad eight. You have shown that you posses the skill, honor, and integrity needed to be a squad leader. Talk to Revnoir about your AI." Aura said.

Leah gave an inward sigh. She replied with a toneless 'thank you' before she left the room. Weave was beginning to falter. A girl who had only for a few days been a weaver was promoted because of actions of bravery lent by fury and lack of rationalization. There wasn't much that could be done, either way. There were few others in Squad eight at this point. Even with lessened ranks and weakened warriors, though, the Weave had to try to function. Even without the presence of reapers any longer, there was still the threat of the Sins. They also were now limited. They were missing Gluttony, Greed and Envy. At least they were... more evenly matched, then.
