Nicolai shrugged a little. "I try not to ask too many questions myself. I got kicked in the ribs for that once."

Nicolai laughed softly and shook his head. "Well I can't come up with all the ideas, you know. What's something you want to do?"

"Not sure." Dana said, now looking at Mouse. "Mouse do you have any ideas?" She asked him.

Mouse paused, eyes just a little bit wide because he was used to being ignored, not having all attention dropped on him - even if 'all' was just two people, and one of them Nicolai. "I-I don't know. . . It's t-too late to go outside. . ." He tried to think, tried to do his best since he didn't want to disappoint, and shrugged. "We could play games in the arcade. . . Or watch a movie."


((Only here for about 30 minutes. I gotta get up early and go do stuff tomorrow))

Dana nodded then looked down. "Well i'm gonna go with the movie, since were already here and I'm in pajamas." She looked st Nicolai. "Is that okay?" She asked him, making sure he was cool with it.

Nicolai nodded and shifted a bit, then rocked up to his feet. "Depends on what movie you'd like. Let's go and take a look at the collection, shall we?" They'd all amassed it over time, with a few secretly added movies of his own. He knew Mouse didn't like horror movies, so those were out, even though there were only two around that Nicolai knew of.
 
"You can pick. I'll watch anything." Dana said as she went over to the couch and made the second part come out so they could rest their feet up. Dana sat and waited for them to pick out a movie.

Nicolai smiled and nodded and walked away, purposely leaving Mouse behind so that they might interact while he was gone, and finally decided on The Village, because it was suspenseful and a good movie, but not too scary. He knew Mouse had seen it before, anyway.

Dana smiled as he came back and got up to put the movie on. She sat back down next to Nicolai and waited for it to start.

Nicolai settled comfortably and waved Mouse over, who sat a little gingerly but did curl up at his side. Reese, not wanting to be left out, hopped up onto the couch and flopped himself down over Nicolai, Dana, and even Mouse's legs, and Nicolai just laughed. Greedy dog.
 
Dana giggled and pet Reese. "Thanks buddy, now I'm not as cold anymore." She said as she got more comfortable on the couch.

Nicolai smiled and settled in, glancing at where Mouse's hand ran absentmindedly over Reese's fur. "I'll have to go after this." Nicolai said, "Don't want to stay away from home too long."
 
Dana nodded and looked at Nicolai. "Alright, that's cool. I was gonna go to bed after this anyway." She looked back to the movie after a minute and continued to pet Reese.
 
Nicolai nodded and wriggled a bit into a better position, then just settled in to watch the movie, Mouse pressed against his shoulder solely for the purpose of not letting Reese's head fall onto the couch. Nicolai had a feeling the small boy would be asleep by the time it was over.
 
Dana sat there watching the movie quietly. She slowly fell asleep, her head falling onto Nicolai's shoulder. Dana stayed in that position, breathing quietly as she slept.
 
In the end, Nicolai was the only one left awake as the credits rolled. He sighed, smiled a little fondly, and very carefully set Mouse up against the arm of the couch. Once Reese was down, Nicolai managed to pick up Dana and set her down in her bed, then went back to turn the DVD played off and pick up Mouse. "Come on, kid," He said quietly, and headed for the door. "Let's get you to bed."
 
A little later, Dana woke up from a nightmare. She breathed heavily then noticed she was laying in her own bed. 'I guess Nicolai put me here.' Dana thought. She got up and got a drink of water, sitting down at the kitchen counter.

After Dana took a drink she went back into bed, but didn't sleep the rest of the night. When it became noon and she still didn't sleep, Dana took a shower and got dressed, she tiredly went down to the kitchen to eat lunch. She yawned as she ate, but kept herself awake. After she cleaned up her dishes she went to her room once again to get her bag and headed to the lobby. She was hoping to find Nicolai to apologize for falling asleep.
 
((It's okay lol I was trying to wait for other people to come back, but I guess no one is :( ))


When Dana came down into the kitchen, Mouse was already up and about. He had finished eating and as just setting the dishes he'd used and washed in the drainer to dry when she walked in. "Good morning. . ." He said quietly, as he hadn't seen her around and assumed she'd just gotten up, then went back to retrieve his book from the table. He was an early riser by habit, always waiting for his father to return, and so had been awake for some time already.
 
"Hey Mouse. Sorry I fell asleep last night." Dana said as she yawned. She watched him grab his book and asked, "Is Nicolai here or at home?" She wanted to talk to him, and figured Mouse would know since they seem to be good friends.
 
Mouse paused, thinking, and shrugged a little. "I haven't heard him yet." And one could generally hear when Nicolai arrived, if only because he went around searching for everyone. "I would guess he's home, but . . . no one really knows where he lives."
 
((Hmm. . . Let's have her be in the lobby when he walks in or something? 'Cause a landlady or office person, especially in a fancy place (which is where I picture him living, semi-fancy at least) wouldn't just tell a random person someone's address lol)) 
((Actually, I changed my mind. I would rather him have his own house, and no one know where he lives just yet. How 'bout she walks into him on his way to Ramshackle?))

Dana nodded and thought a for a minute. "Well i'm gonna go outside for a bit, i'll talk to you later Mouse." Dana said smiling as she walked out. As she was walking she found a rock and started to kick it. She didn't notice someone in front of her as she bumped into them. "Oh I'm sorry!" Dana looked up and saw Nicolai. "Oh hey, I was looking for you." She said, slightly smiling.
