Raising the Winchesters

Dean cuddled Sam back, then looked over at Cas, wondering why he was just sitting there, staring at them. Were they doing something interesting? Dean didn't think cuddling was that interesting.

Looking down and seeing Dean staring at him, the angel simply smiled and continued to read. The boy's dinnertime was coming up soon, and Castiel wanted to get as much reading time as he could. Taking care of two baby boys was going to be a handful, but worth everything.

Poking his brother's tummy, Sam cooed.

Dean kicked off his pants, and giggled, flopping onto his tummy, and raising up his bottom a bit, so Sam could see the cute little animals covering his diaper. Dean reached forward and gave his brothers diaper a pat, squeezing it a little. Sam had a much thicker diaper than he did.

Giggling at his brother patting and squeezing his diaper, the taller Winchester did the same to Dean's diaper, liking the animals that covered it. His diaper was a lot thicker because Daddy said since he was younger than Dean, he needed more protection from accidents. Which made a lot of sense to the little one, even though he could only understand a bit.

Dean giggled and smiled up at Sam, enjoying their playtime together. It was nothing naughty, just two babies being curious about each other.

Crawling, Sam reached a thing of soft blocks, and cooed happily. Getting his brother to come over, the taller wanted to make a tower.

Dean crawled over and sat down in front of Sam, babbling as he helped him get the blocks out, and picked one up.

As the tower got higher and higher, so much that Sam had to stand up or...in this case, try his best. The younger squealed and clapped his hands, happy with the tower he and Dean made. But in his excitement, Sam had knocked the tower, the blocks tumbling down and all over the floor.

Hazel eyes widened and tears began to pool under them; Dean was going to be so mad. The older had worked hard on the tower, and now Sam screwed it up.

Dean looked up at Sammy and saw tears forming in his eyes. He frowned and wrapped his arms around Sam, kissing his cheek, and cooing to him, trying to keep him from crying. Besides, it wasn't all his fault that the tower fell. It wasn't constructed very well, and these things happen all the time.

Unfallen tears disappearing, the younger little one hugged Dean tighter, not knowing his own strength. His brother always made him feel better. Sam was so lucky.

Putting his book on the table, Castiel walked up to his baby boys and ruffled their hair, glad they seemed to be getting along so well. Then again, they probably would more as they stayed like this.

Dean looked up at Cas, and whined softly, wanting him to play with them. That's what caretakers do, right? They spend time with their little ones.

Knowing what his little ones wanted, the angel sat down, facing them. Smiling warmly at his babies, blue-eyes crinkling, Castiel asked, "What should we play with?"

Taking the ball, Cas pressed a kiss to both Sam and Dean's cheek, heart warming at getting to play with his little ones. At first, the angel was afraid of not wanting to be included with the two, but that quickly diminished as of now.

Sam smiled up at Daddy and gurgled, batting at the ball and getting to move towards his brother.

"Thank you, Dean," the blue-eyed man characteristically rumbled. Throwing the ball gently to Sam, Castiel grinned at his younger one.

Catching the ball, and giggling, Sam squeaked, "Dee!" before throwing it to his brother, bouncing at bit, glad that Daddy was playing with them and having fun too.

Dean giggled and caught the ball, squealing happily at his accomplishment. They continued playing for about 30 more minutes, then Castiel decided it was time to get ready for bed.

Picking up both of his little ones; one in each arm, the angel put them in their cribs and made sure they had their pacifiers, should they need them, and their stuffed animals. Kissing their foreheads, Cas smiled warmly at them, "Goodnight, boys."

Waving sleepily at Daddy, Sam cooed. Turning to Dean, the taller smiled, dimples showing, before falling asleep.

Dean stayed awake, and looked up at the ceiling. He felt a bit weird, sleeping in a crib. He also felt bad for his brother. Judging by his behaviors, he was even more regressed that he thought, which worried Dean.

Not actually needing any sleep, the angel returned to his large, and intensely confusing book, keeping an ear out in case his little ones needed him. Being 'Daddy' and their caretaker felt wonderful, or it did to Castiel. The Winchesters could relive their childhood; a better one.

Kicking legs in his sleep, and wetting his diaper a bit, Sam cuddled one of his stuffed animals.

Dean eventually fell asleep, waking the next morning to the smell of food cooking. He was pretty hungry, so he pouted and started to cry, wanting Cas to come get him.

Hearing cries from the boys' bedroom, the angel left the kitchen, ruffling Sam's hair, before seeing Dean. Picking the green-eyed little one up, Castiel patted his back, "Shh. Breakfast is almost done, Dean. Sam is waiting for you in the kitchen."

Carrying Dean to the kitchen, and sitting him the highchair next to Sam's, the blue-eyed angel continued to cook.

Patting at his brother's tray, Sam gurgled happily, "Dee!" It was his favorite word, so he said it often.

Dean smiled and cooed at Sam, making a silly face, wanting to hear his brother laugh. He lived for taking care of Sammy, but now, both boys had someone to care for them, and make them feel special.

Laughing at his silly brother, Sam tried to do the same, making his eyes go cross and the corners of his mouth go down.

Finishing cooking, the angel put his little one's food together and turned around, seeing them making faces at each other.

Dean gigled and looked up at Cas, babbling excitedly when he saw the yummy food. He was hungry and ready to eat.
