She smiled and watched him. “You’re nearing 40 babe, you’re just getting old.” She teased him even if he was still only 37. She paused after that thought, noticing a makeup stain on the pillowcase next to him, blinking a little before continuing as normal, “she misses you. Won’t settle down for the night til she sees a phot of you.” She smiled. “I know we both miss you very much. Just another week though.” She smiled, watching him stand up and feeling her stomach drop when she immediately recognised the hotel room from Lita’s instagram post from the previous night. “Hey babe I gotta go, I’m meeting Jess for breakfast but we just uh… we wanted to check in.” She told him through a forced smile.
He smiled and headed inside, glancing around the place “how do you keep this place so tidy with a baby?” He chuckled, taking the groceries to her kitchen. “I thought I would make spaghetti bolognese. I’ve been told mine is very good.” He smiled at her.
