" It was a request not a demand i did not see the need to say please" katja said not seemingly realizing why what she had said could be taken as a command rather than a request. " I am not used to interacting with people much anymore, it will take me time to get used to asking correctly again" She explained.


Kyubey looked at the girls " As much as i would like to go with you all, i have other places to be i do want to get you out of town back up if i can" Kyubey said as he started to walk off " Oh and i prefer your shoulder Tsubaki" He said by vanishing.

 

[Assailant]

Max harumphed. "Well, I might just be offended by that. I'll have you know my shoulder is a perfectly good spot, just as any other." She feigned offense, before snickering to herself. "I crack myself up." She ignored the whole "please" thing and spoke to Katja. "So, when are we heading out?"

 

[KageYuuki]

"Well then," Tsubaki rubbed the back of her head. "Can we get her in slip space without his help?" She glanced at Katja, as irritating as she could be to work with she was still the more experienced one between the two. "I guess we head out whenever you two are ready."

 

[Karcen]

" There is a way " Katja said but didn't elaborate on that way. " We can go now, we will have to leave as several people vanishing will most likely be taken as odd" Katja continued as she got up. She didn't care what others thought or saw, but Kyubey would get annoyed or at least act like he was as he seemed more emotional but likely that was just an act.

Yui states with determination and understanding but it still wasnt something she was use to doing. Most magical girls she encounter were older than she is. Most at 17 years old. She felt left out most of the time. She felt alone at home as well. Maybe it was her fate to always be alone.

Arashi considered her proposal with nothing more than a blink. "I believed at the time it was my only option. The only way to escape death. But now there is nothing I would embrace more than death. But I cannot and will not leave my village to suffer because of my cowardice. City magical girls are infamous for their selfish motives. I do not have to know any of you to know that you do what you do for nothing more than yourselves. I would rather die than continue with this wild goose chase of defeating yoma. Unfortunately, because more girls keep contracting with the incubator, I have no power to stop the endless supply. Wishes create yoma. It's the entropic price the world pays for one's arrogant wish to defy the laws of nature. Yoma exist because of wishes. He likes to tell us that we counteract what is already there. But in reality, the only reason we have to fight them is because we create them. Magical girls are the real scourge of the world, whether or not they know it."

" i didnt make my wish to be selfish. Or atleast i dont think i did. I did it to save my brothers life. I would think that it be a noble reason to make a wish. Don't you think? What evidents do you have that says kyubey creates the yoma?"

"You don't think it was to be selfish. But all your wish did was essentially trade your brothers' lives for that of countless others. The incubator doesn't make them. We do. All he does is provide the means for which yoma can be created. They are created as a result of a successful contract. So in essense, he does cause them, for if he never came here, they wouldn't have ever existed. Wishes counteract what was supposed to happen. If it doesn't, then the balance of the universe is distorted."

Yui's eyes begin to water. She want to cry but doesnt want to appears weak in front of the older magical girl. " and what? Have my brother die because of a mistake i made. Would that make your decision more righteous . If i just my brother die that day. While your village exist. I am not anymore selfish then you are."

"I know that," she began with the same lack of emotion or empathy for the other girl. "I have learned since then just how selfish that action was. But I cannot take it back. I cannot restore what should be right in the unicerse. So I must continue to pay for my mistakes. But I won't allow others to make the same mistakes."

" A cute theory I will give you that much Arashi " Kyubey said his voice seeming to come from no where until at last his tiny form appeared. He had been watching them he watched all magical girls just in case. " However you make several assumptions about Yoma and wishes that are just false, namely the idea that your wishes and Yoma are related at all, Yoma existed long before humanity, second that your little balance matters in the grand scheme your planet could vanish tomorrow and the universe would not care " Kyubey continued really humans did have the oddest form of inflated egos. " Though I do like how much of a god you think I am, if only that were true then your help woudl be unnecessary" he sighed.

Arashi's eye twitched, but she did nothing more. "This does not concern you, incubator. But if you must know, I am aware that wishes cause more yoma to appear, and that if we did not make them, our world would be a lot safer. Don't paint yourself as our savior." Arashi abruptly got up and headed for the door, clasping her hands in front of her as she walked. At the doorway, without turning around, she finished, "Your job is to harvest us. Nothing more." Then, she departed for who knows where.

" Your wishes cause nothing Arashi, and i do not harvest you magical girls you really have far to much importance placed on your species. In the end you are just another phase of a problem that has gone on longer than your species has existed and will continue after it is forgotten Kyubey said inside Arashi's mind being honest about the conflict and the problem humanity was nothing special, they were just very effective tools.

Max got up and decided to follow. Not like decided to follow, more like... felt compelled to follow. She just HAD to know. Aside from the moral guilt that would come of choosing to do nothing with dangerous creatures on the loose, the curiosity just gnawed and ate away at her.

Yui was stun with the sudden departure. She was wondering why the magical girl didnt just ask her to leave. " kyubey are we always going to be hostile towards each other" says yui drying her eyes. She begins to wonder if what she said was true did she saracific others for her brothers life.

" With her most likely with the others i would say that is up to them though Katja is an exception she will do basically whatever i tell her to so she doesn't count" Kuybey said " I do not see why you are so interested in this girl or care what she thinks you have a team already are you not happy abotu that?" Kuybey continued.

"I am not looking for a team kyubey. I just looking to understand the others. I am feeling a bit out of place." Yui picks up kyubey and hold it in her arms. Like she would do if kyubey were a regular cat. " i want to make friends kyubey."

 

[Karcen]

" i don't understand the need for friends but you are on good terms with the others couldn't you could them as friends, and if you really need one i can have Katja do that for you he said showing just how little he got of the whole friends thing but also seeming to think the best way to slove such problems was throw Katja at them like she was tool and hope the problem was fixed.

 

[Lil Shirou]

"You cant order people to be friends with me. That's not how friendship works. Besides i think katja prefers to be like you. The others seem to be more human at least. Can you tell me the things you were going to say after my yoma battle?"

 

[Karcen]

" it isn't a matter of preference, she simply can't feel emotion from what i have been told she hasn't been able to feel them sense she was a child, well there was once she felt them, but you would have to ask her abotu that. " Kuybey said he didn't mind admitting such personal details as it might make Yui stick closer with the others away from the influence of Arashi.


" And yes i can a Beltane is coming, it a an event where there will be an increase in Yoma activity known as a Hyakki Yagyō. The yoma will create a tee and its heart has the power to grant a wish for free, but only one wish and no one magical girl can get the heart" Kuybey explained.

Max got up and decided to follow. Not like decided to follow, more like... felt compelled to follow. She just HAD to know. Aside from the moral guilt that would come of choosing to do nothing with dangerous creatures on the loose, the curiosity just gnawed and ate away at her.

"Just don't go making some snap judgement and make a wish you'll really regret," Tsubaki quietly murmured to Max before the two stepped outside. "You've clearly got some kind of plan, Katja. Care to fill us in?" She wasn't so sure this was going to be a good idea seeing as how she couldn't protect the girl at all. But it was Max's choice in the end.

 

[Karcen]

" It is just a theory, but i have an idea" Katja said with her usual lack of tone, just a simple statement of fact. When the three had gotten to a secluded enough area, or secluded enough for Katja, she stopped and waited for the two to catch up. The ally that they were in should be acceptable it was out of the way enough for them to not be spotted.


" Well let's see if this will work " Katja said with no other warning she quickly hugs Max and transformed herself hopefully dragging the girl along with her into slip space.

 

[Assailant]

Max felt Katja's grip tighten around her as she felt a great... well, power surging around her. It was there, and then it was gone. Next thing Max knew, she saw Katja in what she presumed to be her magical girl outfit.


"Woah, slow down there," Max said jokingly, "Let me get you a drink or something first at least," she said, punctuating her joke with a well-timed wink.

 

[Karcen]

The joke flew over Katja's head all she saw was that the idea had worked, so in theory they could bring anyone here if they had physical contact. This was useful information, perhaps should they need to bring her back into slip space, the question was how much contact was needed. Katja had picked to use the maximum amount of contact for the best chance at success.


" It seems that we can bring you here with sufficient body contact during transformation" Katja said not realizing like always how well reveling her outfit was compared to most which may actually have gone with the joke Max told. " At least we will not always need Kyubey to bring you here should he be needed elsewhere" she commented.

Tsubaki could only quirk an eyebrow at the scene that just played out. She stood there for another moment before following the pair into slip space. The armor that was a part of her different form still felt a little strange to her. It wasn't really heavy or all that restricting, a surprise since the actual armor was leather and metal. It just felt, strange for some reason.


"Well, can't say I ever expected to see Katja hug someone. Let alone nearly tackle them in the process." She teased.
